I stayed at the Norther Light Resort & Spa for 4 nights and I felt I was at home. All the staffs are super nice and professional. We stayed at the glass chalet and the view is amazing. Although we didn't get to see the northern light due to snow and cloud, we had amazing time. The foods are delicious and healty. After I came back from the trip I received the pictures :). I want to send 10000x thanks to Lynn and Toby and the staff members.

Dreadful! Don’t stay here especially room 221. Other guests on Aurora tours come back between 2.00 and 4.00 and clump around with no consideration for those trying to sleep on rooms below.. Management useless!

No sign out front (gps told us we were there) . Trash in the parking lot. Bad part of town. Panhandling out front Paint peeling on building. . No breakfast included, but the highest price we paid from Florida to Alaska. Shower handle had no place to hang it up. Sprayed all over. The young man who checked us in was very nice and so was the young lady in the morning. No coffee available in the lobby. The bed was clean and comfortable. That’s the only good part. I will NOT stay here again. $154 us currency plus $150 deposit! The morning young lady gave us $20 off.

I stayed here on a work trip, whitehorse was layover to my final destination. My company booked this hotel, when I called to book the shuttle it stated the hotel was under renovations but it would be completed in March 2022. . There was no shuttle service. When I arrived it was loud, construction occurring, I asked about the restaurant in house but was told it was closed due to construction; no offer of restaurants near by or delivery services. I asked the front desk attendant if she could book me a cab for my flight early the next morning. She stated it wasn’t necessary as the cabs are quick and arrive shortly after being called. I expressed that I would still like to have one booked, she stated I will give you the number so you can call and book it yourself, I said thank you that would be great. I never received the cab number, and hadn’t realized until in my room. But since the front desk was adamant that cabs are quick and do not need to be booked I felt okay not booking one. Construction ended at close to 5:30pm. My room was dated but linens were up to date/clean and bed was decent. I was on the first floor and the curtains didn’t really close well, I used a hair clip to secure them. I left at 4:10am and asked the front desk attendant if he could call me a cab, he did and stated they are saying 8 minutes. 15 minutes later the front desk attendant informed me he had called them again, and that if he had known I required a cab he would have booked it earlier to ensure I would get to the airport on time. He stated cabs are unpredictable here and booking it in advance is best. I informed him that I had asked the front desk to do just that on arrival but was told it wasn’t necessary. I waited and hour, the front desk attendant repeatedly called the cab company, and finally he brought me to the airport himself to ensure I made my flight. My overall experience was not good, and the initial clerk was curt and not informative/helpful. The night clerk went above and beyond! He was kind, helpful and very pleasant to interact with. I travel for work and pleasure frequently, and I have always depended on the front desk attendants for valuable information (cabs, best restaurants, best venues, hidden gems in the area, etc), they are a wealth of knowledge and are normally very dependable. This was the worst service I have ever received from a front desk attendant ever! Thankfully the night shift attendant saved the day!

Some of the people who work here are friendly and helpful, but the older Indian woman at the front desk (I believe her family owns the hotel) should not be allowed anywhere near customers. One of the least costly laundromats in Whitehorse, if you can stand the abuse.

Centrally located in the heart of Whitehorse, Yukon, the Canadas Best Value Inn is a 2-story hotel that offers 53 spacious guest rooms with either a mountain or river view.
In spite of being inexpensive...this is NOT the place to stay. Grubby, smelly(people smoke in the rooms), badly in need of maintenance and worse of all, seems to be the gathering place for Whtehorse's 'undesirables'(late night yelling/scuffles in hallways, and outside of premises) smell of cigarette smoke and weed from other rooms, gatherings of smokers etc outside front door(be ready to run the gauntlet)

Being a non-smoker, it was a Big surprise to see that the room had no smell at all. I mean literally Zero smell which is very rare in such type of motels. Compliments to the hotel management Another good thing was unlimited internet good for all our devices It is a basic motel otherwise, limited number of channels in TV and had a microwave and coffee maker. (Note: Transparent Plastic cups were provided which are not suitable for hot beverages and can melt).
