Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant is located in the quiet village of Volcano a mile from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The Park, home of Hawaii's active volcano Kilauea, offers miles of scenic overlook and trails. Romantic rooms and cottage are available with private bath, towel warmers, central heat and some with fireplaces. Hot tub and Wi-Fi available.
Everyone at the lodge was very helpful. Very close to the national park. Thanks to the young girl in gift shop who advised us to go counter clock wise around the crater as when we encountered people coming the opposite direction they had the rain in their face's which made it hard to see

The Aloha Junction B&B is located in Volcano Village just behind the Post Office noted for proximity to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park 1 mile away and restaurants in town. Guests also enjoy the 1930's old plantation structure providing five spaciousness rooms and electric blankets for those chilly nights in the rainforest. In addition free parking and well attended-to well-behaved children are welcome. Each room has it's own coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave but a "must have" is a complimentary breakfast including fresh-ground coffee, Papaya-banana boats along with sausages and toast or yogurt and boiled eggs. After spending time in this "Drive-in" style National Park, most people want to include to hike. The Park Headquarters have maps to include range of difficulty ~ but evidence shows even the strongest skeptics that Kilauea is still a very active volcano.
We loved our stay at the Aloha Junction Bed and Breakfast! The location was perfect for our visit to Volcano National Park. We stayed for 2 nights in the Pele Suite which was a perfect fit for our family of 5 (two teens and a 9 year old.) We all enjoyed the breakfast (especially the sausages and fresh papaya) and the porch was a lovely place to sit and unwind after a busy day of hiking. The beds were super comfy and we really appreciated having 2 bathrooms with lovely showers. The house and grounds are beautiful and have a wonderful Hawaiian vibe. We highly recommend and would love to return someday!

A Volcano Hawaii Bed and Breakfast and lodging retreat offering an intimate destination at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Beautiful, fern-lined grounds, great location right next to the national park, and excellent service. We stayed in the Pineapple Obama cottage which was delightful, but the other buildings looked equally charming. Would definitely recommend!

All of our vacation rentals are located in the heart of Volcano Village. Volcano Village is located in the old Ohi'a rain forest. We are only one mile from the entrance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The popular Volcano restaurants and neighborhood shops are within one block walking distance. We are approximately 27 miles from Hilo and 97 miles from Kona.
Seemingly good rental house for the area. The house was clean, reasonably furnished for our stay but vary much a cabin-like stay. Plenty of beds but only a single bathroom. Getting the keys to unit was a bit confusing but otherwise the folks that managed were friendly and helpful.

ENTIRE HOUSE RENTAL; YOUR PARTY WILL BE THE ONLY GUESTS ON THE PROPERTY. The Volcano Rainforest Lodge is a luxury craftsman house in an ancient forest. We are located only a few minutes from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park main entrance near Kilauea summit and the friendly artists community of Volcano Village. Volcano Rainforest Lodge is located in a secluded, private, 9-acre forest estate. Each room is designed to view the forest and lava outcroppings. The Lodge was designed with privacy in mind. No other guests will be on the property during your visit. The house is located on an extremely quiet, 3-acre lot. The 3-acre lots on either side have been acquired to allow for additional peace and quiet. This Lodge has 2,300 square feet, on one-level with three bedroom/bathroom suites, gourmet kitchen, living room with lava rock fireplace, 16' x 20' dining room, laundry room and over 1,400 square feet of covered, outside living area (lanai). The home has three staircases which access the main level. The rear staircase has only four steps. The home has Mango flooring, and door/window trim. Mango is also used in the bathroom cabinets and mirror frames. The doors are solid core knotty Alder. The ceilings are beautiful Canadian Pine with Red Western Cedar beams from Oregon. Counter tops in the Lodge are granite. Bathroom walls and floors are gauged Quartzite. This beautiful home provides all the elements to make your vacation on the Big Island a memorable experience. The Lodge is like a breath of fresh air amidst the beautiful forest of Ohias and Hapu'u tree ferns; a quiet place to relax and unwind, while being located close to the various adventures in the area. The Lodge is available for weddings, parties, and corporate events. Please do not confuse our property with Volcano Rainforest Retreat. Each of the suites has a big screen, ultra high definition, smart TV, private lanai, and a keyed exterior door, The lodge has super high speed fiber optic internet service.
**Caveat: Trip Advisor's word limit required me to severely edit my original review, unfortunately. Ok, so this will be difficult to summarize how special our stay at the Lodge was but here goes. We stayed 4 nights in mid-July 2021. And it's a stay my entire family still talks about to anyone who will listen. My wife and I, and 3 kids (16, 18 & 20) were speechless when we first arrived. The Lodge is very big and felt like a small hotel, according to my daughter. The 3 bedrooms are big, with comfortable king beds/pillows/linens and include big flat screen tv's, large closets and dressers for clothes. Each room has an exterior door that takes you out on to a lanai that wraps around the entire Lodge. There is furniture located in different areas on the lanai, for sitting with a drink or eating breakfast and a coffee in the morning! The "Great Room" was super comfortable with the large couch and 2 large chairs. The decor, paintings, photographs, books on bookshelves on all topics (loved ones about Hawaii) made you feel like you were at home. The kitchen is large, long counters, and was fun to cook in; the walk-in pantry was a nice bonus. Every appliance you needed and more (happy to locate hand mixer). Brand new gas grill on lanai worked perfectly, where I enjoyed a beer (or 3) a couple nights while grilling and listening to the sounds of "coqui" at night. Bottomline: if you want to be near the Volcanoes NP and/or have a truly memorable stay on the Big Island, then stay here.

We stayed at "Wolfie 4", a duplex on Kilauea Rd, 2 blocks from the main road to Volcano NP. The room had a sitting room and separate bedroom and bath. It was clean and nicely appointed and came with refrigerator and TV and free WIFI. You check in at the Ace Hardware nearby. Each day a fruit and snack basket appeared in the room.

This is NOT your regular Joe B&B; actually it isn't a B&B at all, but a farmstead accommodaton. It offers everything you'd expect at a three star hotel and more for a fraction of the cost. Our location is key for planning your perfect stay while visiting the Big Island. We are located a short drive from Hilo International Airport and just minutes from the most active (and safest) volcano in the world. Kilauea is situated at the 4,000 foot elevation amidst lush tropical rainforest where you can escape the heat and crowds of the fast paced city life. Come enjoy some "Aloha" hospitality at its best!
I ordered the fish. I couldn't eat it. It tasted like it was fried and reheated in microwave. It was so disgusting. I ordered a dessert with waitress but she never brought it. I left disappointed and hungry. My family that was with me was just as dissatisfied as myself. NEVER AGAIN.
