Great value
Reviewed By jemma dWe stopped here for one night on our way back from Spain. We had two rooms, a twin and a double. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Ensuite' s with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only problem we had was a coach load of tourists turned up just as we wanted breakfast and so we had to ask for a refund as we didn't have time to wait for them all, however receptionist gave us z refund straight away.

The welcome by Jonathan was second to none, such a young professional, discreet but available, always polite and smiling and such a gentleman.The first impression of the hotel was through his lovely welcome and it went from great to fantastic from there...We had treated ourselves to the room with a balcony and it was a true privilege to spend 4 nights here. We didn't try the breakfast as my husband preferred his long lie-ins while I enjoyed the pool as soon as I woke up, perfect pool with a lovely terrace, shower and comfy seats, sunny and surrounded by flowers and so many trees we thought we were in the forrest, not alongside a main road! We tried the restaurant once, it was very busy but delicious with a woww presentation in the plates, we were served by Damien who deserves a special mention for his gentleness and improving his english making lots of efforts to speak with my husband (Irish) Damien, you're a natural, keep working hard, you really are a gem of a waiter. The blonde Lady owner at the reception was very busy all hours in the days and nights but always took time to chat with us. Overall, I wouldn't change one thing, this is Hotellerie the way it should be, where you are not only a room number or a cash machine but really truly a guest. We felt like King & Queen of the castle during those few otherwise stressful days when my Dad was in hospital. We can only recommend the place and wish to come back. Thank you Relais de Farrou for being so traditionnally welcoming and professionals.

You will have at your disposal a lounge(show), a shaded patio and a terrace offering a panoramic view on the Collegiate church Notre-Dame, the bell tower of the Chapel of Penitent Black and on the roofs of the Royal ancient country-house of Villefranche-de Rouergue, classified Big Site Midi-Pyrénées.

A special chambre d'hote nestled on the bank of the River Aveyron, 10 minutes walk from the centre of the Bastide town. Beautiful large well equipped rooms with lovely en suites, free mini bar, bowls of fruit, sweets, free tea coffee, and Tv with DVD.

Reviewed By Ray GWe arranged an overnight stay here and were very pleasantly surprised. We wanted for nothing from bath robes to tooth picks. The queen sized bed was comfortable, the room was so well equipped it was impossible to find anything missing. Hosts friendly and helpful. Breakfast a treat, lots of lovely fresh bread, croissants, cereals and preserves, again difficult to mention everything. A beautiful location, there are some steps involved so check access of your room. If in the area we will stay here again, it isn’t often we can report exceptional and Mon Plaisir really is. Thank you.

Reviewed By judith sWe stayed here for 5 nights when staying in Villefranche for a wedding. The host Christine spent two years completely renovating the building. It is now really lovely, very tastefully done in a very modern style. We had a lovely room with the most beautiful view across to the wooded hills behind Villefranche. It took my breath away every morning. The breakfast was delicious with really fresh breads and croissants, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and a choice of teas or coffee. It's slightly tricky unloading the car as the b & b is on a narrow one way street but it's doable - after unloading there is plenty of free parking nearby. We really loved our stay. My only query was that we stayed there for 5 nights and no-one made our bed or cleaned the room the whole time we were there which we thought was rather strange.

Reviewed By Laure077Sympathique hôtel à quelques pas de la cathédrale. Hôtel mariant l'ancien et le moderne avec goût. Chambre agréable et bien équipée. Petit déjeuner très bien, avec la possibilité de déjeuner à l'extérieur ou à l'intérieur.

Reviewed By 136fabricehChambre d'hôte dans un endroit très calme sur les hauteurs de Villefranche avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la ville et ses monts. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins : dégustation de produits locaux (fouasse, fromage...) et sont pas avares de conseils si vous souhaitez un séjour découverte du coin ou plutôt sportif. Encore merci à eux. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation !!

Voyage dans le temps - retour au Moyen-Age dans toute sa splendeur en présence de Paul et Babeth EXCEPTIONNELS
Reviewed By Nicolas RArrivé dans ce B&B un peu par hasard après 3 jours de marche sur les traces de Saint- Jacques... Épuisé, les pieds bien abîmés, j’ai tout de suite réalisé lorsque j’ai été accueilli par Paul et Babeth que j’etais arrivé à une adresse unique. Leur accueil, leur gentillesse, leur générosité uniques m’ont vite fait oublier mes « bobos ». Ceci sans parler de leur Tour Mord-Lion totalement unique, magnifique décorée entièrement dans le style Moyen-Age. Paul et Babeth sont littéralement fascinés (et fascinants quand ils partagent leurs connaissances) par cette époque. J’ai eu la grandie chance de dormir dans la chambre des Templiers qui était extrêmement confortable. Le petit-déjeuner était également très unique avec de nombreuses préparations maisons. En conclusion, j’ai eu l’immense chance, joie de partager quelques heures avec des gens hors du commun, généreux, sincèrement bons... le genre de rencontre qui vous change. C’est plus qu’une recommandation.... je sais que j’y retournerai ne fut-ce que pour revoir Paul et Babeth.
