Very chill hotel with a breathtaking view
Reviewed By supertravelpandaWe stayed here for 3 nights and it was great. We had a room on the 2nd floor with the most wonderful view. Breakfast in room due to Covid-19. You can indicate the time and your wishes in advance. We asked if they could give us some fresh fruit, toast and eggs and that was no problem. I was a bit concerned about noise because of the many weddings that are held here, but that was not so bad. There was a party on the first night with live music and a wedding on the third night. We have had no problems with this at all. The sound of the square with a stage in the city was louder which you could hear it clearly in your room. LOL. But it always stopped around 11pm. You can park your car in front of the hotel and if it is busy someone from valet parking was present to do that for you. Unfortunately we were not able to eat in the hotel, the kitchen was closed during our stay. I am glad to chose this hotel and place instead of Positano or Amalfi. You are not bothered by the traffic and can decide for yourself when you want to look for the crowds yourself.

Reviewed By julius705We stayed for 3 nights while enjoying the wedding of a daughter's friend at the hotel. Our whole experience was delightful. I just could not see the justification for several negative comments in the past, about this hotel. They must have put things right. Our only complaint was the internet which was poor. Otherwise, the service is professional and friendly, and the food in the restaurant was so good that we ate there twice. The food at the wedding was also excellent. The outdoor pool is delightful set in beautiful landscaping on the hillside with a wonderful view over the bay. We plan to return.

Reviewed By CDNTraveller23I recently spent just over a week here. We want to rate it on four aspects. First, the hotel itself (room, facilities, etc), We only give it a 6/10. The room was dated (could not figure out the thermostat/fan-see photo) and the "private beach" in the photos was pretty much non-existent during my stay. There were construction workers out there daily (waking guests up near 7am) and it is a mess down there. No blue umbrellas, etc like seen in the photos. We went maybe once or twice, that was it. We wish they would warn guests about the construction. We should also warn that to get to your room, you need to take two elevators-the system is quite confusing and the lack signage. Finally, if there is a wedding during your stay, you may want to be prepared to be kept awake till past midnight due to noise/music. Second, the location. I'd give it a 7/10. It is a pleasant walk to Vietri Sur Mare where you can find shops and something to eat, but a good 25 minute walk down to Salerno's harbour to catch ferries to various places (like Almafi, etc). By the way, that is the view we had to the left of our balcony (the harbour/ships, etc)-not so nice. Also, the sidewalk beside the hotel is covered in cars and this makes it very dangerous to venture out in that direction. Third is the food. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. We did not enjoy the coffee and missed having fresh fruit, but there was a variety of fresh pastries and some cheese/meats, yogurts and cereal. We also enjoyed some other meals and the food was very good. We give it an 8/10 for food. Finally, the staff. Here is where the hotel shined for us. We give 10/10. We felt they made every effort to tend to our needs. They were always pleasant and helpful. We are not sure if they make up for the other downfalls, but nonetheless, we wanted to point that out.

Reviewed By J19YCannot fault this place. Service is incredible from all the staff members. Brilliant shuttle service to the main square and the sister hotel. Good location to access supermarkets and ATM, restaurants and bars. Breakfast was nice and views from the hotel are amazing. The rooftop terrace and pool are brilliant and maintained well too. Our room had a jacuzzi pool on the terrace as well which was a nice touch to the stay. Would highly recommend this place and we would definitely visit again.

B&B Rosaria is so beautiful, charming, clean and is run by the nicest family - Rosaria (best cook ever with the best fior di zuccha I’ve ever tasted) and her sons Andrea & Saverio who were extremely helpful and made our experience an unforgettable one! Apart from the lovely B&B, Vietri sul Mare was such a great choice - the village is tiny, quaint and peaceful! The village is close to Salerno where we got a ferry to Capri and the other villages along the Amalfi Coast. Everything was absolutely perfect!! Can’t wait to be back!

Great location
Reviewed By Sirpa1987The location of the hotel is great but the room was a little odd in it that the wash basin was in the bedroom, not the toilet. Also, it was so high up that using is was very unpractical and the floor was always a little wet. There was plenty of "empty" square meters in the room so it could have been designed in a more practical way. The restaurant of the hotel, on the other hand, is excellent. Service is friendly and attentive and the food is great. When we arrived, the service at the reception was a little sloppy but the next morning with a different person, everything was fine. It was a pity that the hotel beach was closed during our stay and there were major renovations being done, which, unavoidable, disturbed a little.

Good value for money
Reviewed By Ingo618We paid Eur 70 for a good clean double room without sea view. A room with sea view would cost Eur 90. We had a delicious sea food dinner the first evening in the restaurant with sea view at the top floor of the hotel. Another good dinner with meat the second evening in the large restaurant at first floor. The staff was professional and friendly. The breakfast was continental and served in the restaurant with sea view at the top floor of the hotel. The hotel is located 10 min by car from Salerno, where you can take boats to the Amalfi coast and Capri.

Nice and quiet days with Spa and massage every day in mid September 2019. Absolutely perfect short vacation and I will highly recommend this small Spa hotel??

Spring Break Salerno
Reviewed By levinoscarVery confusion initially trying to find Andrei and his residence room. We eventually found him like half an hour later and got to the room and stayed for two nights. We hiked at one of Salerno's interesting trail to get to the mountains to see two towns. It was cool. Despite the roads being terrible like 1 - 1.5 car space driving to get to his place driving up hill majority of the time, finding his place and the stay was good. It was clean and peaceful as well in a small village. I enjoyed the stay for the two nights.
