Reviewed By luca gI stayed to this hotel few times for business, very kind people, good standard room. Breakfast is fine, but what I like is the friendness of the staff (the owner) which makes you feel at home. Not a standard in Germany. Definitely suggested!.

Our house is situated in the beautiful Troisdorf city perfectly connected. With us you can sleep comfortable and excellent breakfast. Our 3-star hotel has single / double and family rooms with a total of 78 beds, which are equipped with shower / toilet, hairdryer, telephone and satellite LED TV. You have the choice between smoking and Non smoking rooms. Having evenings you can enjoy a glass of Kölsch beer or a glass of wine in our lobby bar lounge. Wi-Fi is complimentary in the entire house.

Reviewed By Marek ŠNice small hotel in the city center. Service is very friendly and nice. Traditional breakfast. WiFi works good just in the reception, but possible to use. Not everything is perfect, but not demaged. Recommended.

one week stay both holiday stay and trade fair
Reviewed By kramskysWe have chosen this hotel especially because of a good location near Cologne and airport, brand new hotel is situated on railway station not far from city center. We went every day to Cologne by train, which took about 20 minutes and it was also 10 minutes to the airport. When we came in the evening, we took a taxi, but it took much longer and the taxi driver didn´t know exactly where to go and it was expensive - 40 Euros. So we recommend train. The reception of the hotel is on the 5th floor, but you can use self-service check-in. We haven´t had breakfast, there is a shop with coffee in the same building. Rooms were clean and sufficient, with had a window to the inside attick, so no day light and now view, but we mostly were out. Next time it would be better to have a room with a view. On the other hand the room was very quiet. We recommend this hotel.

Not bad, but not great
Reviewed By Nurse_KoalaIf you have a rental, it will cost you to park, and you have to get a token from the desk anytime you want to get out of their lot. Beds aren't very comfortable, but the room was clean. Didn't eat in their little restaurant, but there is a bakery a few kilometers away called Bröhls that was spectacular.

Hotel Primula is located centrally in the city of Troisdorf. Due to the small distance to the train station and the motorway we can be reached easily. Our guests travelling by train, plane or being here in order to work at the trade fair like the convenient connection to the trade fair area Köln/Deutz, the ICE train station Siegburg/Bonn and the airport Köln/Bonn. All of our 72 non smoking guest rooms are equipped with shower/toilet, hair dryer, telephone, TV and free WiFi, which is also available in all hotel areas. Besides our guestrooms we host family celebrations and business conferences. Start your day with our rich breakfast buffet and a luscious coffee.
Basic and noisy hotel with 80s vibe
Reviewed By joeybuddenbergIf your not really keen on a up-to-date hotel then Primula will be sufficient for you. If you’re used to traveling around the world and sleep in a lot of hotels, avoid this hotel. It is a little outdated to say the least and the hotel is noisy. You can hear everything what’s happening around you. Check out is at 10am (even on weekends) which to me is a little to early. Wouldn’t book this hotel.

During fair times definitely overpriced
Reviewed By kr0elleDuring fairs and other events in the Cologne area this hotel might constitute a cheap alternative, yet it is still way overpriced. Actually the only advantage is that staff is fairly friendly. The rooms are very oldfashioned and worn down. The hotel itself is located rather off the town - nearest public transport is a 20 min walk away. Although they pride themselves for the WiFi it kept disconnecting and had a very limited bandwith. Also, contrary to what it says in the description, they do not offer an airport transfer. Please do also note that reception is only staffed until 9pm. This furthermore indicates that apparently there is no staff on site during the night which is rather frightening at this location.

Reviewed By Jakub KWe had a reservation for one night - our flixbus was late 3 h and we arrived there at the midnight. There was No person at the reception, only a phone number - we called, some guy told us that it is not his problem and, quote, "f... you". If you label your hotel as "the airport hotel" and close the reception at 10 pm, it's a f... joke.
