Slip into Tralee pub on any unassuming evening and you'll likely be treated to a lively session of traditional music: fiddlers and guitarists and bearded laddies sipping on pints and jamming on festive old tunes. Ladies go easy on the brew, though - you'll want to remain in your loveliest, fairest state for the annual Rose of Tralee festival, which crowns one fair lass as the winner. Her duties? Represent Ireland to the world. No pressure.

We have just left a wonderful few nights at The Ballygarry Hotel. The stay was once again faultless. The Ballygarry is a very very special place, and will always be to us. This time I proposed to my partner at the hotel and I am so great full to all the staff for making it so incredibly special, but in particular special thanks to Niall, Shauna, Liz, Chloe and Ellen. From the spa, to the rooms, to the food, the hotel is outstanding and you are welcomed to feel like part of the family. I am already planning our next return for my birthday in October

At The Ashe Hotel, we get excited about top class comfort and our ability to provide luxury accommodation in the heart of Kerry's capital. Even better, we are a stroll away from shops, restaurants, businesses and other fun things like swimming and the movies.
We stayed at the Ashe last month, and I loved it. I had been staying in the Manor West - the Ashe's sister hotel - all week, but needed an extra night at short notice. The Manor West - which is great too - couldn't extend my booking, but directed me to the Ash instead. It was absolutely perfect. It was a work trip for me, and I was busy and stressed, but the welcome and the willingness to help at the Ashe was just a tonic. The reception staff were super helpful, as were the wait staff - attentive and charming without being in your face. We were leaving before breakfast the following morning, but there was a lovely continental breakfast available from 6.30am. Naomi came and chatted to us and made sure we had all we needed. I was sorry I had to work, as it would have been lovely to stay longer and just relax - the place lends itself to that. Quirky but very stylish decor,, lovely staff, lovely rooms, great food, great location - and all at reasonable rates. Will definitely return when I have time to stay longer and enjoy. Thank you very much. And big thanks to big sis Manor West too!

We chose this hotel rather quickly as another holiday cancelled and so pleased we did. Location is excellent for exploring Tralee and Kerry. An easy and pleasant walk into town, about 20 mins max. We even walked to watch greyhound racing which was a really fun night out. Hotel was calm considering it’s quite big and caters for conferences etc. the staff all are on their game. Breakfast superb with a great choice and staff lovely. We particularly liked our room which was airy and light a good size with both a bath and shower. All clean and very comfortable. We also particularly liked the bar area with a nice mix of guests and locals. Opportunity to watch sport if you want or not. Price of drinks very fair. A great stay and would definitely return.

The Grand Hotel is one of the most established hotels in Tralee and renowned among Kerry hotels. It is a Tralee town centre hotel and has been beautifully restored to its original architectural beauty, while incorporating the best of the modern boutique hotel style.
WOW! Where do I even start? From the second we walked in and met Eileen and Richard, we felt like the most important guests. Everyone we encountered was kind and friendly and went out of their way to help. They carried our bags to our lovely room and continually asked how they could assist. We stayed 3 nights and frequented the pub all of them and the bartenders were our FAVORITE of our 15 days n Ireland - little Richard, Senen, and I cannot believe I can't remember the 3rd gentleman's name (I'm so sorry but I hope you know who you are) - they were THE BEST!! When we returned to the hotel one night at 8pm and decided we wanted to play golf the next day, Eileen went out of her way to not only find a course we could play but negotiated an amazing deal for us. Eileen made our trip - she was so kind and helpful from beginning to end. We loved the location of the hotel, the food in the restaurant and everything about our experience. We'd love to come back someday! Thank you SO much!

We had a lovely stay; staff are so professional and friendly, the restaurant has lots of tasty options for food, and the room was spotless with a very good shower. The lack of free parking could be an issue, we travelled by train so that didn't impact us. Overall, if you're looking for a nice hotel in the centre if town, with a warm atmosphere, this is a very good option. Date of stay: May 2022
