Very nice resort. Upon check-in and the lady was rude. I’m not sure why but once we got passed her, everybody else was nice. It was also are they came at 7 PM for room service the same day I checked in.

We stayed here overnight after the Bora Bora St. Regis and the Brando. Quite a letdown although of course they are not trying to be in the same level. But, carpets stained, room with no view, service spotty. OK as a airport layover but wouldn't come here for a vacation.

The hotel is super nice and the rooms are stunning. The beds are comfortable and so are the pillows. The à la carte food prices were comparable to US prices but the Sunday brunch was around $40 a person so don't do that. All of the food we had was delicious even the pizza. The fruity drinks were around $18 so we stayed away from that until happy hour where they were half price. Waters aren't free but you get one free in your room when you arrive so we just filled that up at the front desk water station so I'm assuming the tap water is safe here. The black sand is beautiful and so soft. The pool area was stunning also. The employees were all super friendly and helpful. Most of them speak some English but not a ton so expect a slight barrier unless you know French or Tahitian.

We stayed the night to fly out of Tahiti the next day. From the moment we checked in our experience was horrible. The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. We booked a 6 person occupancy suite and they tried to charge us for additional occupants over 2 people. The rooms were in need of repair and we had to ask multiple times for towels and linens. There was a half used bar of soap in the bathroom and barely any toilet paper. We decided to go to the pool where, again the wait staff at the bar was rude and dismissive. Dinner was a disappointment as the food was bland and sub par. One of the guests in our party ordered a burger which was drenched in mayonnaise (which was not listed in the ingredient list) and when we asked for a burger with no Mayo we were told we had to purchase another dinner. It put a real damper on our evening and we couldn’t wait to leave. If you want to get a full night’s rest, this is not the place to stay at there are roosters in the trees that start growing at about 2:30 AM. We were grateful we only had one night there and definitely would not recommend!

Works of art these all natural "fare" create a univers as magic as a child dream. On a plateau, facing the sea and the sun set, each bungalow can sleep 1 to 4 persons with private kitchen and bathroom. Vanira means vanilla in Tahitian. Vanilla, as in the sweetness, harmony and tranquililty you'll find during your stay at Vanira Lodge.
This is not a resort and dont go to Vanira unless you like to be well off the beaten path in the middle of a peaceful jungle. Each lodge is unique and hand crafted from local materials. The lodges are open to outside so be prepared to share with a few bugs and few small lizards. They are spread out and each one is very private. The grounds are lush and beautiful, the pools are welcoming and the staff wonderful. There are bikes to borrow, but they are in pretty rough shape and the last short hill back to the lodge is a killer. We had dinner there one night and it was very good. Possibly due to the world slowly awakening from Covid, open restaurants are a challenge to find nearby. STRONGLY suggest the roadside food trucks. Oh my goodness the food is outstanding and cheap. Many restaurants are open odd hours and odd days.

We had a fine 3 day stay at Renais Fenua. Our room was comfortable and clean. Syrill helped us along the way and spoke enough English to make things work. The food is excellent, dinners are highly recommended. The baguette was superb,as was the wonderful fresh fruit served at breakfast. The charming gardens and small pool were a pleasant place to relax. This lovely pension is recommended for the budget conscious visitor who does not require great luxury and may not be fluent in French.

The Best Comfort at reasonable prices.Located in front of Tahiti Faa'a International Airport the Tahiti Airport Motel is only at 5 minutes walk from the terminal. For a greater comfort, all the rooms as well as the corridors are entirely non-smoker and air conditioned. The establishment is ideal for transit travelers or for long-term stay. The motel provides luggage storage and parking. It is a very comfortable place which proposes 46 units.
Arrived about 20:00 and just needed a short stay hotel. Tahiti Airport hotel was a great choice. The location from the airport was just a short walk away. Unless you have a lot of bags or can't walk up a steep driveway you won't need a cab. Just cross the airport parking lot then cross the street and look for the cement driveway. It will lead you right to the reception desk. The room was nice with TV and air conditioning. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The morning brekfast was about $11 and offered a grat view. I would stay here again for sure.

THE GOOD: This hotel was great for our family of four in the Executive suite. It’s two stories, 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths! The beds were really comfy and we were all glad to have a bed to stretch out in after the flight. When we pulled up from the airport (note taxi is about $30 and takes 10+ mins), I was pretty wowed as it was much nicer than I expected based on reviews. The restaurant on site is really nice French food but the front desk helped us locate pizza/hamburger joint just 100 meters up the street and open later. The location is right downtown and close to ferry as others have pointed out. I’d 100% come back and glad we did our one night here vs Hilton or Intercontinental. The front desk man was beyond amazing, really sweet and not crowded. LESS GOOD: Not much here. Based on other reviews, it is dark in the hallways but not terrible if you have your phone flashlight. As for noise, we all crashed after big mamas food and slept great. The roosters early morning are definitely chatty; it didn’t wake me or my family up (I’m a light sleeper) but now that I’m awake I hear them. Overall I highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is set on a lovely, landscaped property right on the water and has a cute pool area but the accommodation itself is quite basic and dated. That said, it is clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They even arranged to have a rental car brought to the hotel for us since we were only in Tahiti one full day and they had sandwiches put in our mini fridge at our request due to late arrival. The restaurant is also right on the water and has a good breakfast (only meal we ate there). You need a car if staying here since it is outside the downtown area by about 10 minutes. There is a food truck parking spot about a 15 minute walk away. Overall, good value for the price paid, especially in Tahiti.
