Beautiful stay at Sanak Retreat! Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The location is very quiet and peaceful, away from everything. Beautiful views from the main building of rice fields and great sunsets. Lots of excursions to pick from and they support the local village and community really well. Would definitely return here when we return to Bali!

Giriwood is hotel and villa offering a quiet and tranquil hideaway that nestled in the village of Wanagiri. Giriwood features wide range of activities and facilities such as infinity swimming pool with forest views, trekking around the villas, visit to nearby waterfalls, game centre including billiard, table tennis and chess.
We could not fault this property in the mountains of Bali. Don't go to the common boring loud Bali as most people know it. Go to the mountains and that does not mean Ubud. Rainforest, waterfalls, actual local villages and just pure pleasure.

The rooms are very very dark because of the dark wood & dark brick. Lack of lights do not help. We literally had to get clothes out by torch light. We did have a bulb out that they replaced the following day promptly Bathroom had an awful smell like cat pee and was constantly damp. Towels were damp as was toilet paper. Shower had no pressure to get soap out of your hair. Room was not cleaned to a high standard at all. Dirt and dust behind tv and mirror dirty. The pool I honestly thought was a pond it was pretty grim. Wi-Fi or signal non existent in room. It’s a shame. Just a lick of white paint all over dark wood would transform the little villas. No air con or even ceiling fan No fridge for water I wouldn’t recommend if I’m honest unless you are backpacking cheaply around. It’s a cheap hotel and that’s what you get. However the staff were very helpful and super friendly. Views of lake (over the road) are amazing

Boutique Hotel with infinity pool and lush tropical gardens, just ten minutes from Lovina. We provide room service with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Scooter hire, free shuttle bus into Lovina and pick up service from Denpasar airport or other places on Bali. we can also provide tours directly from the Villa (eg. bedugul, Twin lakes, the Water temple, Air panis, dolphin spotting and many MORE!!!)
This property is quite remote but it is totally worth it given the spectacular views. They provide transport into town or if you like to see the local life it is only a 40min walk (downhill!!!). The staff were so friendly and helpful. Minnie was super and helped us organise our day trips/excursions and had loads of advice for us. Pool was fab also. Thanks to all for a lovely stay.

The swar Bali resort is wonderful. The room is great and has an amazing view, the staff is lovely and the location is great too. Definitely visit this place! They have the best coffee place next door too. Better than the Moding Plantation.

Owner of the place (Gede Arimbawa A Taji, husband of Anna who make yoga there) hit my head with a flowerpot. After this I had to to to Make a surgery to sew my forehead. Of course no one of them even didn’t cover my costs. And didn’t bring me to the hospital. Just pretend to be nice people. At the end man i suppose is a mentally sick.

Selonding Batu is Balinese for “stone gamelan”. The gamelan is an ancient traditional musical instrument. Each stone of the gamelan produces a different pitch. A team of musicians produces lively music percussing the stones or brass kettles with wooden or cloth mallets. Settled on a mountain top the villas of Selonding Batu provide unparalleled, breathtaking views of North Bali.
Villa Selonding Batu is a stunning location. The grounds and landscaping are magnificent and the view is amazingly beautiful. Everyone at the villa was so nice and treated us well and helped with any of our wants or needs. I would strongly recommend Villa Selonding Batu to anyone for a relaxing place to stay. The food was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the eternity pool was wonderful. The fact that to reach the Villa involves a very challenging drive up a narrow, twisty road can be seen as both positive or negative. This meant that it was a very private, relaxing location. Anytime we did want to go somewhere there was always a safe and willing driver to take us down to Lovina Beach or where we needed to go. We would love to go stay there again. Wayan the property manager could not have been more attentive to our comfort and enjoyment. The food was delicious and Budi and Prima who tended to our dinners were sensitive to our likes and dislikes and lots of fun as well.
