Surrounded by one of Germany's largest wine-growing regions, Stuttgart beckons cultural junkies with its acclaimed ballet, opera and philharmonic, while auto fans get revved up over the Mercedes Benz Museum. There's more green space than urban sprawl in the festival-friendly city, home to Europe's largest zoo and botanic garden combo, the Wilhelma. The WÂrttembergisches Landesmuseum, in one of the city's oldest structures, traces area history from the Stone Age. Buses or subway provide handy transport.

We had a business meeting next morning, we found this hotel in google maps and came directly. The lady on reception was very nice and polite, she gave us better room with a balcony. Sleeping was good and quiet. The car was standing on small parking background near hotel which was just perfect. A few words about garden on the backyard. Its a good place if you want to relax on the bench near small lake :)

I stayed there with a friend for three nights. The only slight inconvenience was that this hotel was some way from Stuttgart city centre but it was very near a U-bahn stop. Otherwise everything else was almost perfect. The hotel room was big, quiet, warm and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was buffet service and had a large variety of high-quality food; I am particularly impressed with their Birchermuesli. We were so impressed with their breakfast that, on the last day, we asked to buy two packed breakfasts (on top of the breakfasts we had) to serve as lunch on our long train journey. The hotel staff kindly waived the costs and said they would give them to us as presents. Thank you!

Avoid this place if you have pets. Although not included in their terms and conditions, this is how this hotel operates. Housekeeping will conduct a room inspection after the previous occupant departs. You will not see that inspect sheet when you check in. You will not even know that a room inspection has been conducted. What you will do when you check in is sign an acknowledgment form that you will pay for any damages that occurred during your stay as a result of your pet. The out check inspection will occur after you depart. So, basically, there is an in check and out check inspection, neither of which is conducted in your presence. I offer this as a word of caution to all US DOD travelers because I incurred a charge for damage that the previous occupant’s pet did to the room. Unfortunately, it did not occur to me to record the damage when I moved in. I assumed the hotel caught it and charged it to the previous occupant. They did not. They charged it to me. Here is my recommendation: do not sign anything during check on until you have physically checked the room. Take a picture or record video of every single piece of furniture, every pillow, every blanket, the TVs, the curtains, and the walls. The walls in the kitchen and living areas are not covered with paint. It is a gummy type substance similar to caulk. If you touch it, it will leave an impression. If you run it to try to clean it, it may come off. This hotel staff is dishonest and will try to recoup whatever money they can from you as a guest. Also, if you are a US DOD traveler, share your concerns with the USAG STUTTGART command.

The elegant Maritim Hotel Stuttgart adjoins the green Hoppenlau-Park and is located centrally, not far from the main railway station and the cultural attractions of the lively city. The direct link with the convention centre 'Liederhalle' makes it an ideal starting point for business and private occasions. The Bosch-Areal with cinema hall, fitness centre and shopping facilities is just a few paces away.
Hotel is alright. Rooms are fine, lobby and bars are nice. But the WiFi is appalling. Barely even scraping old dialup speeds. Couldn't even call home or get any work done. Disappointing in 2022 that a basic necessity is unavailable. The hotel will post the same copy and paste the same reply when previous visitors have complained about the wifi....if you stay here and hope to have internet access, or even be able to video call home, stay somewhere else.

Discover a destination which gives you a perfect balance between business and leisure. Enjoy a day in Stuttgart's city center, easily accessible by car or public transportation within 20 minutes or relax in our wellness and fitness area.
Rooms were dark, and really weird decor. Seems like the hotel requires a modern revamp. Rooms are decent size, bathroom does not have a bath, only a shower. Wifi is ok, aircon was not very effective. Breakfast was ok, but for the price paid one would expect more. The bonus is the close proximity to the airport, 2 min walking

The DORMERO Hotel Stuttgart provides the all-in-one solution for any kind of stay, no matter whether you are traveling to Stuttgart for business or for leisure. The largest of the hotels of the DORMERO Hotel Group is unusual in many respects. Arranged in two blocks, the rooms not only offer a panoramic view over the city of Stuttgart, the hotel is also directly connected to the best known entertainment complex in the region – the SI Center. The large number of free DORMERO standards underline the extreme comfort along with framework program options provided by two musical theaters, the Stuttgart Casino, the wellness area of SchwabenQuellen as well as KANTO Sports. Despite its size, the DORMERO Hotel Stuttgart is not intimidating.
Husband and I went out for dinner and as left a vulgar man insulted us and demanded we pay for his door. We started to ask what was happening but immediately realized this was someone swindling us and walked off. He was a regular white male with a lot of tattoos. When we returned this unidentified man in street clothes was behind the counter and an argument ensued when he demanded payment (of which he could even show a picture). He refused entry and we called the police. Police said there was nothing they can do if we are asked to leave. That employee cussed at us, refused to retrieve items from the room, wore no uniform or badge (everyone else had on red ties and suspenders). His appearance and unprofessional will ensure I never stay near this place.

The elegant 4-star superior hotel ARCOTEL Camino is located in the heart of Stuttgart. The historic facade of the building that was once home to the bathing facilities of the "Post¬dorfle", the first workers’ housing estate in Stuttgart, has been pre¬served in its original state while the warm, earthy tones and contempo¬rary furnishings used in the interior create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. The ARCOTEL Camino in Stuttgart is inspired by the legendary Way of St. James, the "Camino de Santiago", which has been a symbol of encounters of all kinds for more than a thousand years. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk away from the main railway station and the Konigstraße shopping street and within easy reach of many of the city’s sights and cultural attractions. It has 168 rooms, each one with aircondition, Flatscreen TV, Minibar, Safe and Wi-Fi. An energy-packed, varied breakfast buffet awaits the guests on each morning. The hotel has as well a fitness and wellness area.
We stayed twice for a total of 2 nights in this great Hotel during our trip to Austria in 2018. We had booked the Apartment which was perfect for us and our two children since we could put the 2 kids to bed and still eat comfortably in the seperated dinning area and get a good sleep in in the other separated bedroom before continuing our trip to Austria. The apartment has a large Kitchen/Dining Area in the middle between 2 seperate bedrooms who both have their own bathroom. We used only one, but when the kids are older (our oldest was 4 at the time of visit) this is a great way for everybody to be together but still have their privacy in a combined Hotel room with all amenities. We'll stay here again if we either plan a trip to Stuttgart or need a stop on the road even if it means that we have to make a little detour, since the Hotel isn't directly on the highway but the Hotel and the space it offers as well as the fair price is worth it. We also used the Room-Service which was perfect, Dinner and Breakfast.
