Reviewed By J MDas Hotel hat einen neuen Eindruck gemacht. Die Lage ist einzigartig direkt am Wasser. Die Ausstattung ist gut und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Direkt nebenan ist ein Biergarten in dem man bei schönem Wetter den Sonnenuntergang bei einem guten Wein genießen kann.

Nice cottage, otherwise nothing much to write home about
Reviewed By tofifiWe arrived around 6.30 p.m. on a week day after several hundreds km journey, at the same time as another couple. The reception was dark and as we approached the counter we heard a grumpy voice saying "now you must wait!". We did. After a minute or two, a somewhat sulky woman emerged from the background and before anything she grumbled "first you need to pay!"... No "hello", no "good evening", no "welcomes". The woman merely gave us the key to the cottage and now with a shade of a smile, told us where to park. It was a nice 3-storey cottage in a separate refurbished building, with spacious bedrooms, modern furnishings, tasteful decoration, nice bathroom, fitted kitchen, all very clean. Nothing to complain about. Breakfast was OK, good choice of products. The whole place seems to be run by two women, one of them very friendly, the other one not so. Nice period (main) building, impressive entrance and staircase with dark oak wood.

Reviewed By pmj1947We had an appartment for four nights It was complete and spacy with two rooms and a private bathroom. One disadvantage: There was no wifi. We had to enter the hotel in the next house for connecting with the internet. The breakfast was excellent in a nice decorum. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the harbour.

Wunderschönes Zimmer, sehr nah am Steinhuder Meer
Reviewed By lightman19Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und liebevoll im maritimen Stil eingerichtet. Wir waren als Paar dort und haben einmal ein größeres Doppelzimmer im Jahr 2017 und einmal das kleinere Doppelzimmer im vergangenen Jahr gebucht- in beiden konnte man sich super aufhalten und mit TV und WLAN hat uns nichts gefehlt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und nehmen sich Zeit für einen (etwas, was leider heutzutage nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist). Das Frühstücksbüffet empfehle ich auch mit dazu zu buchen- es lohnt sich und das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis ist super! Es ist am Morgen liebevoll hergerichtet- mit einer Auswahl an Käse, Wurst und Konfitüre, sowie Rührei und verschiedene Brötchen- und Brotsorten (manchmal ist das Brot auch selbst-gebacken), Saft und Kaffeespezialitäten, die auf Wunsch vorbereitet werden können. Meist findet man auch ein süßes Gebäck- etwa Brownies oder Schoko- Croissants. Das Ganze ist ohne versteckte Kosten. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die Umgebung in den Wintermonaten, denn dort sind die Restaurants leider geschlossen und man hat keinerlei Möglichkeiten, etwas zu essen zu bekommen. Wir hatten uns etwas mitgenommen und dann ging das. Aber ein Restaurant in unmittelbarer Umgebung, das auch im Winter geöffnet hat, wäre schön gewesen. Ansonsten ist das Haus Ottenlock mit seiner Lage für den Preis unschlagbar- in wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man das Steinhuder Meer (die „Hauptpromenade“). Toll wäre es, wenn man in Zukunft vielleicht Hunde mitbringen könnte- dann wären wir sicherlich häufiger da! Alles in allem, sehr empfehlenswert! Wir bedanken uns für die tollen Aufenthalte.

Gute Lage und sauber
Reviewed By SebatobiWir sind bereits zum 2.Mal zu Gast gewesen in diesem Apartment-Haus. Die Wohnungen sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit. Wir mussten einmal umbuchen, obwohl wir ohne Stornomöglichkeit gebucht hatten, trotzdem war es möglich um 1 Monat zu verschieben. Besten Dank noch einmal dafür. Jedes Apartment hat einen eigenen Parkplatz und der Check In über die Schlüsselbox ist absolut unkompliziert. Wenn wir in der Nähe sind, immer wieder gern.

Super Ferienwohnung direkt am Meer
Reviewed By annaimhofDie Ferienwohnung ist für 2 Personen perfekt. Es gibt einen kleinen Balkon auf dem man schön sitzen kann. Es ist alles da was man braucht, von Küchenutensilien über Geschirr und Besteck, Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Alles ist super sauber und wenn man Fragen hat sind die Besitzer zu jeder Zeit erreichbar. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
