Looks ok. Friendly staff. In center of stara zagora. Room is quite big but bit dark. Disadvantage was the smell of cigarettes in the room and lots of noice of water running somewhere at night. Breakfast was ok. I guess this is good to stay when in stara zagora

To read the full review and see a short movie about Hotel Diamond, visit the review and rate blog placescases. See…. …. Pleasant and cozy atmosphere, a hotel with a little kitschy style, for my taste, but the rooms are themed with a different design, which is interesting. We were in the Golden Double Room; …. Unfortunately we only had 1 nightstand, I don't know for what reason, we were deprived of the second one; …. There was a dead wasp in the drawer of the only nightstand; … In the second "Golden" room, my daughter found someone's socks on the floor, apparently left by a previous client. True, they were under the curtain next to the nightstand, but house keeping still had to see them somehow; …. The curtains are not black out, i.e. when the sun shines in the morning, you have no option to sleep a bit more. Feel…. …. Good service, but without face masks; …. If you forgot a reading before sleep and are staying at the Diamond Hotel, check the drawers for books. I guess they were left by the hotel to have something for the guests to read if they didn't take it. They were in both the rooms we accommodated; …. The room door locks are with keys instead of cards, which is a certain inconvenience, especially if you need 2 pieces per room. You just can't get them, while if there were cards, they could be programmed for each guest in the room. Also, the door is openable from the outside, which means that you must lock it from the inside. Yes, but the key has a plate for the electricity, which automatically means that you have to disconnect the key from the plate; …. Great convenience is the location of the hotel - at the beginning of the pedestrian zone, near the historical museum and within walking distance of the center, Kazanlak tomb, Park Rosarium. Hear…. …. It is very noisy at night because of the street, even with the windows closed. To read the full review and see a short movie about Hotel Diamond, visit the review and rate blog placescases. Smell…. .… The shower gel from the cosmetics in the bathroom smelled more like toiletries. I expected the shampoos to be based on rose oil, since we are in the capital of roses, but my expectations were not met. Only the soap smelled of a rose. Better bring your own shower gel and shampoo. I booked a table for four people on a Sunday evening despite suspecting it would be empty. When I arrived, the waiter was definitely not in a mood yo serve me as he kept ignoring me. I had to tell him that I wanted to be served. Keep I'm mind that I was the only guest of the restaurant at that point. When the rest of the group arrived, the waiter kept being disrespectful to them especially when taking their order. The food for two of us arrived 15 minutes after order which was fine, but the rest of the group had to wait extra 30 minutes (unfortunately, I am not exaggerating) for their meals. We did not receive an apology for that at all! My meal, a rissoto, was too undercooked when I returned it, no apology again. When I received the check, the rissoto was on the check, an item that I didn't consume, when I raised the issue to the waiter, he abruptly stated that people usually pay for the food they didn't eat... No need to say that I would not set a foot in there ever again! I do not recommend it at all!

I spent just one night at the Zornica but I was very impressed for the cost! Simple but very clean hotel, friendly staff and a great restaurant adjoining the hotel. Although I didn't use the indoor pool look great. The outdoor pool was out of use as it's now out of season. The view from restaurant and pool is great! Breakfast was simple and self service - my only very small issue would be, I'd love the choice of some filter coffee but the Bulgarian coffee certainly gave me a rush. Overall, a very nice hotel and great value.

This is a great hotel if visiting the nearby Russian church or the shipka pass, We stayed while touring across Bulgaria, It was great the rooms were spotless, the beds were very comfortable and the wifi was better than at home in the UK. We ate in the bar/restaurant downstairs and the food was great, mostly typical Bulgarian, but that was fine, we ate like kings for a fraction of the price we would at home, and finished it off with the best hot chocolate I have ever had in my life, in-fact I had two! It is near the church and the bells did wake us up in the morning but that was fine as we didn't want to miss breakfast and planned on heading out early anyways sight seeing in the area. Would happily recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

"Shipka IT hotel" is a small, family run hotel. It offers the coziness and calmness of the small town combined with our willingness for perfect service and personal approach to our guests. Тhe hotel has 7 double (twin) bedrooms, 1 suite. The rooms and suite are equipped with cable TV, Internet access. There is a possibility for an extra bed in each room. The suite consists of a sitting room and a bedroom each with a balcony. The suite bathroom is with a bathtub. You can enjoy traditional local dishes as well as international cuisine. Meals can be served (according to the weather conditions) in a covered but open - sided dining area close to the swimming pool. The hotel has a small but very well arranged garden and its corresponding outdoor pool. Typical cool evenings in Shipka make this place much liked and preferred by hotel guests. A small SPA offering an infrared sauna, steam room and massage can make your stay even better.
This hotel is on one of the side streets of Shipka, tucked away and quiet, but a short walk takes you to the heart of the town. In fact, almost all the attractions of Shipka are within a stone's throw from this hotel, and there are quite a few. The rooms are all individually styled, and very comfortable. We were there during a cold month, and the room was warm and comfortable. The cleanliness is wonderful, and in summer the garden and the balcony areas will no doubt offer many restful moments. The hotel also offers a spa and sauna treatment, and the rates are very reasonable. The breakfast is a cornucopia of delights - including bread, fruit, eggs, cheeses and whatever else is in season. The personal attention from the owners ensure that each guest is made to feel special and valued. Truly worth a visit.
