I spent 2 nights in Spiddal last weekend in the Cruiscin Lan and it warmed my heart to receive such wonderful hospitality. The staff were friendly and courteous, especially the manager on the floor. The bar was bright and airy. Food was lovely and tasty. My room while a little old but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel is within a 2 minute walk of the beach. There is a little Beer garden off the bar overlooking the sea which was an unexpected bonus also. It's not a big brand new hotel, but it more than makes up for that with comfort, great food and the friendliness of the manager and staff. I will definitely be back!!!

We stayed here for one night on route to visit a family member living on the Aran Islands. Well what can we say, what a lovely, pleasant and comfortable BnB Radharc Arainn is. Geraldine is the perfect hostess, so welcoming and a lovely cuppa on arrival not to mention the biscuits! It was a wet and windy day when we arrived and it was so welcoming. The rooms are warm, clean and cosy and the breakfast top class. Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality and we will definately be returning when visiting the islands again in the future.

We stayed in Ardmor Country House guesthouse for two nights in August 2021. Such a lovely, relaxing place to stay. Vera and Beairtle are the perfect hosts- attentive, hospitable and friendly. The breakfast gets top marks- home baking, lovely cooked food and great coffee. What more could you ask for? Perhaps a visiting Rosy Starling on the patio? Beairtle feeds it every morning.

I never thought I would find a place outside of city centre Galway that I would really want to stay...UNTIL I discovered this charming B&B perfectly situated between Galway and the outrageously, breathtakingly beautiful village of Spiddal. This place is delightfully decorated and is SPOTLESSLY clean! Paul and Frances couldn't be more wonderful as hosts and Frances is quite gifted in the kitchen; the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The walk into the village is just incredible...the views are unmatched. I cannot wait to return with my family members. Thanks so much Paul and Frances!!

Myself and my friends travelled from the North East of England to watch Ed Sheeran, the Ard Eoinin is a lovely B and B. The owner is so friendly and welcoming- the breakfast was stunning! The best breakfast I have ever had! The room was beautiful and clean! For the price you pay we all thought it was a bargain! Beautiful seaside town. Thank you

Another wonderful Irish B&B in the Gaelic speaking region of the Republic. Very reasonably priced. Great breakfast. The host was very helpful in planning our travels in the Connemara. Beautiful views of the bay. We would stay here again.

A local secret is the B&Bs slightly west of Galway. Although this one is right on the sometimes busy route to Spiddal, the fact you can see both the Aran Islands and the headlands that encompass the Cliffs of Moher is a bonus. Nice size rooms, great service (even afternoon tea) and a wonderful breakfast.
