An average airport hotel
Reviewed By Heinrich969An average clean hotel, but nothing exceptional. The room was clean, but the hairdryer did not work properly and the safety deposit box was not working either. We booked a spa visit (additional fee), which was okay, but there was no slippers or bathrobe provided and only hand soap in the spa shower. There was also a rooftop pool and sauna available, but the reception did not inform of this (or the spa) in anyway. Breakfast was good average and shuttle service came on time. However it did not drop off to departures but near arrival parking so we had to walk another 500m to reach the terminal. All in all, good average but not a four star hotel.

Great gem of a hotel with a fabulous restaurant in the Italian countryside
Reviewed By AidaJerseyThis holiday, after a week in Galicia enjoying the food and the weather, we spent 3 very hot days dragging the kids through Florence’s most prominent museums. Needless to say we needed a break after all the nagging! Resort La Mola was our next planned 3 day stop; it is conveniently located for easy access to Verona, Venice, Lake Garda, etc. The idea was to use it as base camp and do daily exploration excursions, but we found ourselves in an excellent place to unwind, rest and eat gorgeous food ... and it was hard to leave! When we arrived, what a pleasant surprise, so much more than expected! Lovely friendly welcome by the owners, Luigi and Lorella, and their beloved Pina, a very friendly and loyal 15 year old german Shepherd. This is a family run hotel and it shows. Excellent value for money, both for the rooms and the food. In fact the food is excellent! The setting is off a little road, surrounded by the Italian green, lush countryside, with endless vineyards and mature trees. The building seems to be a large, old farmhouse, perfectly restored, now housing comfortable hotel rooms, a great restaurant and a pizzeria, surrounded by green lush gardens and beautiful serene countryside. The rooms are very comfortable and ample, with a great en-suite shower room (with great towels!), air con, and a window with beautiful views over the endless vineyards and mature trees. We had the best sleep ever. The beds are large, super king in our case, with very comfortable mattresses, pillows and very soft cotton sheets. The room was perfectly cleaned each day. There is a fabulous restaurant with great choice of high quality dishes, excellent wines, and superb service, with both an indoor formal dining room and an ‘al fresco’ terrace, very stylish and decorated with beautiful taste. For those less peckish, there is also a fantastic pizzeria (all fresh made) which is also where the delicious breakfast is served in the mornings. Fresh fruits, eggs cooked to taste, amaizing cakes and pastries, juices, cereals, freshly baked bread, and coffee or tea to taste. A great start of the day. To top it all, there’s a huge garden with a pool, jacuzzi and plenty of sun loungers and parasols. The pool itself is neither too large nor deep but great to cool down after lying in the sun for a while. The air, the place and the whole ambience forces you to relax and unwind. We decided to skip Venice, dreading the heat and crowds at this time of the year; we did nip out to Verona, only 20 km away, saw the magnificent Roman amphitheater and came back at lunch to chill out by the pool at La Mola, followed by a great dinner. On our last day we treated the boys to Cavour, a great new water park only a few kms away. We had fun there but it was great to go back to La Mola and enjoy a fabulous dinner and a glass of wine in the terrace afterwards. The day we left, it was hard to do so, I honestly felt very much at home. There was no fuss, no rushing; instead a friendly goodbye and well wishes. La Mola must not be missed. It’s family run by lovely people, it shows and you certainly feel it. I already miss it. Thank you Luigi and Lorella!!

“Al Canton” is a pleasant home in Sommacampagna, near the city center of Verona and near the most interesting points of the city (next to the tollgate, 5 minutes from the airport of Verona, 5 minutes from the center of Villafranca, 10 minutes from the amusement park “Gardaland”, 10 minutes from the Fair of Verona, 15 minutes to Verona center and the famous Arena…) in a very pacific and reachable contest. Available to the guests we offer three double bedrooms with private bathroom (an added bed is also available), a large room for breakfast with a new kitchen, a garden with solarium and BBQ picnic area, a basement parking, to giving you the rest and relaxation you need on your holiday.

Reviewed By AlyTayHayAlexWe were in Sommacampagna to visit with a friend while traveling on business, so we only had 1 night and needed a place and we couldn't find the location of the reservation we had made at another B&B. We happened to be turning around in the driveway of B&B Al Canton when we noticed it was a really nice place and there was rooms available. We met the owners and they had a lovely top floor unit with a bathroom included for ready to go for us, even though it was the last minute! A really cute and lovely home! And such great people to let us in unannounced. They offered to get us dinner, however we made plans to run out instead. The garage to park our car was secured under the house with a secured double entry. The entire house is secured and feels really welcoming. Breakfast was a typical ready meal of pastries, coffee and fruit. I would stay here again given the chance, its a really great place to unwind after a long day of traveling!

We loved this place
Reviewed By O SIt was our first experience in a rural hotel and we loved. The staff is really nice and treated us almost as family. The building is old, but the rooms have been renovated and have a nice rural style. They are very clean. My kids really loved to watch the farm animals that are kept near the hotel. I totally recommend this hotel for families with kids.

We were two families with 3 children each family. Very simply everything was perfect and I recommend the place to everyone. Value for money !!!!

Reviewed By hmtmsThis accommodation is look's like brand new. the room and bathroom was very clean. Air condition, flat tv, hair dryer were in the room. The staff (maybe the owner? ☺ ) was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical Italians, there wasn't salty only just sweet things and fruits'. They have good cafe machine as well. I suggests this place 4 everyone! ☺ A szoba új vagy nemrégen felújított volt. A szoba es a fürdő is tiszta volt, naponta volt takarítás is. Legkondi, lapos tv es hajszárító is volt. A recepciós, mindenes hölgy (sztem a tulajdonos ☺ ) nagyon normálisan es segítőkész volt bármilyen kérdésem volt. A reggeli tipikus olasz volt, semmi sos kaja csak édesek, sutok, stb es gyümölcsök. Ja es volt egy jo kávéfőző gép is, ami reggel volt bekapcsolva. Nagyon javaslom a helyet mindenkinek.

The Casa Maria Teresa Agritourism can be easily reached from the Sommacampagna exit on the A4 motorway and from airport Verona Villafranca (2 Km). A short distance away you can visit the cities of Verona, Lake Garda, Valpolicella, the mountainous areas of Baldo and Lessini, Gardaland, the water park Caneva World water park and the Trade Fair district of Verona. The agritourism includes a large car park and a playground.
Interesting countryside experience
Reviewed By KarakaspapaThe place is a family-run business, a farm with a small hotel attached to it. We were received warmly and this continued throughout our stay. Whenever we had a question regarding the local attractions, we could turn to the receptionist, who was quite knowledgeable. The hotel has a nice garden, with a small playground, a little lily pond and a bower where you can have your breakfast. A couple of peacocks stroll around. One can also visit and pet the farm animals. The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. The buffet breakfast includes excellent self-made products like jams and fruit juices. The major downside is that the rooms are equipped with small windows, so they are dark even on a sunshiny day. This made me uncomfortable staying inside during daytime. The building is next to a country road, which is quite busy from early morning. Although the sound insulation of the windows is good, in some of the rooms the traffic noise can be heard.
