Reviewed By 685jerihNot a good stay at all. This entire place smelled horrible - the rooms, the lobby, the hallways. Everything felt dirty as well and the door on one of our rooms did not close properly. Unfortunately it was non-refundable and we arrived late. Needless to say we were up and out of there at the crack of dawn. The only plus was that the staff was very friendly.

Lillie and Cecilia do an amazing job with the breakfast! Everything was delicious and fresh. The rooms were super clean and beds were amazingly comfortable. Will definitely be back next time I'm coming to Slidell!

Reviewed By cappyusmc5rude staff, refuse to give you copies of a bill, inaccuracy of the final bill from what you were quoted before hand but they refused to show you a copy of what you signed on the pad before. Food was cold but you had to wait till the kitchen staff and their kids ate before they were an hour late getting the leftovers to the guests, The response from the front desk was, "look, this is how we are trained, I am just trying to go home."

Cleaniness Lacking.
Reviewed By Carolinachica210We’ve stayed at this hotel in the past maybe 5 years ago and it’s since gone way down which is sad. We booked a two room suite and while the room was spacious it greatly lacked in cleanliness and updates. From the lobby to the hallway I should’ve known it was not going to be a pleasant stay. When we checked in there was some gentleman playing loud and lewd music at the pool out front who cat called any women walking by. Our next door neighbor checked in same time as we did and they had a dog who barked anytime you walked past their door and even while we tried to watch tv. I called front desk and was told that’s to be expected in hotels with pets allowed. The hotel was not crowded so could’ve easily moved them to a room that was not next door. The room had two TVs but only one remote and when we called desk to ask for a second remote was told she doesn’t think they have rooms with more than one tv in them as she has never seen one. The curtains were held together with staples and still had stains and holes in them which let light in. The mini fridge was filthy as was toilets and counter tops. The phones were not operational due to Hurricane Ida so you’ll need to use your cell phone. Funny thing is the other hotels in the area all had working phones and said service from Ida had long been restored before the New Year. We were offered another room but upon inspection it was not clean either. While it did have in tact curtains it was on the first floor next to bbq grill where there was a party in progress.

We also had a family friend who recommended the Hampton Inn. When we arrived we were greeted and checked in by Katie. Such a friendly smile and welcoming personality. During our stay we also had the pleasure of enter acting with James. He offered food recommendations and we checked out Keith’s Seafood. We brought back some boiled crawfish and ate them in the lobby. James came over and visited and socialized with our group and we had some great fellowship. I would recommend staying at the Hampton inn in Slidell, LA. My next stay we will definitely be back.

Disgusting… not worth it.
Reviewed By Kb1324The room was dirty. Water seeped through the floor when you stepped on it. There were bugs (not in the beds), but some flying around & some crawling on the bathroom counter & the floor near the bathroom. There were people hanging out in the parking lot late at night which made me nervous about our luggage etc we had in the car. In addition people were running around being loud outside late at night. We just stopped overnight on a road trip. We quickly learned why it was the cheapest in the area. But not worth the savings.
