The Carre Arms Hotel is a family owned & run hotel and restaurant renowned for over 25 years for quality service & fabulous food. We source our ingredients locally (wherever possible) for quality, freshness and seasonality, preparing them on site by our professional team of chefs. Our style of cooking is an eclectic mix of modern English and Mediterranean. Our Bars serve real ales listed in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide and wines from our excellently stocked wine cellar which complement our brasserie and bar menus. Our kitchen is open daily from Midday to 9 pm. The Carre Arms Hotel is the perfect venue for your special day, whether it be a Wedding, Civil Ceremony or Celebration. We also cater for your Conferencing/Meeting requirements in our various rooms. Why not relax, have a drink or a bite to eat in our beautiful Victorian glass covered Conservatory. We look forward to meeting you - The Cuñago family
I have just completed a 3 night stay at this hotel. In my previous life as a touring coach driver staying in some “very basic” hotels, I have dreamed of staying in somewhere like the Carre Arms. It’s exceptional. From the smiling friendly and helpful staff, to the clean well maintained room, to the excellent quality of the food and drink (they’re in the Camra Good Beer Guide, again), there is nothing to fault. It’s a short walk from the railway station, and only a 5 minute walk to the town centre, yet the area surrounding the hotel is relatively quiet. A relative called in for dinner on Monday, we were given the option of dining in the bar or the restaurant. A very varied menu is available, to suit all tastes. An excellent continental self service breakfast is available, and a cooked breakfast also. If only all hotels could be modelled on this one.

My partner and i were having a lovely day and decided to pop into the Ivy for a drink as it was a warm day .It was not very busy and there was a child playing with a book near the bar and we waited patiently and we were next in line but the manager decided to ignore us and serve her friends firstand seem to treat the regulars better ( i have had this experience a lot in sleaford adnd ther is alot of clickiness in sleaford too ) apart from the barge and bottle wehre there is always a smiley face and and every one gets treated equally. The manager said she would be with us ina a minute adn continued to serve her friends/family but we decided to leave and got the Barge where our presence was more welcomed

We stayed for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend, a very unique establishment, friendly and helpful staff and they even accommodated our friend for breakfast. Parking available nearby. Interesting room decor, it was quite noisy because of the bar area downstairs however we were warned of this prior to coming so can’t complain. Good stay. Would recommend.

All rooms En-suite and on the ground floor, tea, coffee, free view & Smart TV and fee parking. Pets welcome. There are many fine eateries right on the door step. Breakfast whilst not currently offered. There are many places within a short walk.
We arrived late but had no issues with gaining access, our room was all ready for us and the shower was excellent, hot and powerful, just what was needed after our long travel. We were travelling with our dog and this was catered for and we received exceptional hospitality.

We have just had a fantastic weekend at Woodland Waters celebrating my 60th Birthday. 5 beautiful lodges, all 10 rooms and 4 aravan pitches were taken up and everyone loved it. Our lodge, Mallard, is beautiful, clean, warm and comfortable. Family with hot tub lodges had so much fun. The food in the bar and restaurant a Is superb, and all 190 people at the party Saturday loved it. Whether going for a day, weekend or longer, we all highly recommend Woodland Waters.
