We stayed for 2 nights here and found the hotel convenient. The location is not really in the “center” of Sigulda, but it has two supermarkets, a fast food burger and several other restaurants around. The rooms were basic equipped but ok. Breakfast was also ok. We had a room with access to the yard which was really nice. The hotel’s restaurant is not the best choice in town as variety is average but prices are high

Trampoline for the kids in the garden
High-quality accommodation comprising units of different size. Easygoing and friendly hostess makes guests feel welcome. Our apartment was comfortable with attention to details. Cleanliness is yet another asset. We had the misfortune of staying during a heavy heat wave unusual for these places. As a result, we suffered day in and day out as the apartment is not equipped with air conditioner. Considering recent swings in weather toward extremities across the planet, may I humbly suggest installing air conditioners for the sake of the guests? Some noise from a nearby railroad may be a cause for discomfort for some people but we stopped paying attention after a while. As for us, we are looking forward to staying at this lovely place again in cooler weather.

This hotel didn't meet the expecations I had before the visit. It suppose to have a lake behind the building, rooms with "lake view"even have a higher rate. We were so much looking for a nice swim in the evening, after a long day with 30degrees outside. Well, there's no lake, just mud. On the map you see 3 more lakes but there's no path to them. The rooms have no aircondition. What was also not clear to me while booking: the hotel is situated in a residental area, so it was a busy Friday party night in the neibouring garden). All in all the hotel is not in the best shape, bathroom wasn't exactly clean. Fine for one night but I'd not go there again.

We stayed in a "bungalov" for a week. It was a 2-floor apartment - downstairs it's a living room with sofa-bed, wardrobes, kitchen corner and bathroom; upstairs 3 beds, linen cupboard and TV. Carpet everywhere. The accommodation is new, fresh and clean. Beds were super comfortable (have not slept so well for a long time!). What I really liked, was the possibility of outside seating. The owners were very helpful. When we asked for a baby cot (in advance) or extra blankets (on place), they fixed it quickly, no problem. On the day of arrival evening we asked for breakfast for the next day, not problem at all. When we asked, we also got some tips for supermarkets etc. Two minor things which could be improved - we missed a microwave for warming food for our little one; the waste bin was not emptied while cleaning so we had to do it ourselves (not big deal as the garbage can was just around the corner). If you search for calm, clean and comfortable accommodation, I can recommend this place.

This cosy guesthouse on the outskirts of Sigulda offers ideal conditions for a wide variety of winter and summer sports. Surrounded by a peaceful natural landscape, the Reinis is only a 10-minute drive away from the town centre, Turaida Castle and the Gauja Valley. All rooms are individually designed and offer great views of the Reina hill. Bicycle rental for a day is included in the price. The Reinis Guesthouse features a lounge for games and dances, a seminar room, and a relaxation area with sauna, indoor pool and fireplace. In summer, activities include golf at the adjacent Reina golf course (9 holes), cycling, mountain boarding and canoeing in a 500-metre canal. There also is a trampoline. In winter the guesthouse is next to Reina trase, Latvia's premier winter sports centre. Here you can find perfect conditions for snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Activities in the vicinity include bungee jumping and tobogganing, as well as visiting the Tarzan Adventure Park and the Aerodium, a vertical wind tunnel.
Having spent time on multiple golf courses in Baltics this is one I wold recommend especially if you’re passing by. Beautiful spacious rooms with balconies will pleasantly surprise even the picky ones. Golf course is very clean and fun to play - picturesque views around the course and fairways wide enough for less experienced players to enjoy the game.
