The staff are really good to provide the wam and considerable service. It's very convenient that 7-11 is just next to it, and also near the railway station. All is good for the stay but the room is very small as all the standard Japanese hotels. However, we were outsides for the daytime the room space doesn't bother me.

Located at the heart of the Tohoku region in Sendai, the new Washington Hotel is dedicated to providing you with a comfortable stay. Its convenient location gives you easy access to major train lines such as the Tohoku Shinkansen, the Tohoku Main Line, the Senzan Line, the Senseki Line, and the Sendai Airport Access Line. The hotel is located near the West Exit of Sendai Subway Station. The city of Sendai and the surrounding area are places of thriving business. There are also plenty of places to enjoy some sightseeing such as Aoba Castle (Sendai Castle) and Osaki Hachiman Shrine. Then there is also Matsushima, a group of pine tree-covered islands that is considered one of Japan’s three most beautiful sights. Other attractions include the national treasure Zuigan-ji Temple, the national park Zao, the Mountain Temple (Risshaku-ji), and the World Heritage Site Hirazumi.
Location: close to Sendai station (if you chose the right exit). Overall difficult to reach. Room: right size for two people and two medium / small suitcases. It had a kettle and a fridge. It had various amenities and the bathroom was beautiful! I would have cleaned the room more deeply tho. Check-in / staff: complicated and also self-service. As soon as you arrive they ask you to fill out a coronavirus self-certification and measure your fever (putting your hand in front of a thing, but it was useless since it’s inaccurate: 31/32 was the temperature, which is very unlikely) I found that the staff behaved like “Robots” and I didn't find them welcoming! To be more specific: staff did not add extra help to make the check-in easier, instead, just made me feel dumb to not be able to complete the process quickly. Price: expensive. I traveled to various cities in Japan during this time, and this was the most expensive and with less personality

Hotel Vista, Sendai is very close to the JR Station and near to the sub-way station which is useful. The Hotel rooms are compact and clean. I stayed in Hotel vista before and liked the area. The breakfast is typically Japanese and nothing much to add. There is a Hot water bath which is less crowded.

Top hotel, great garden view with a nice terrace. Great and fulfilling breakfast. Good bath, strong wifi signal and a minute walk to a shopping mall. I would surely stay there again. They have some souvenirs from the Italy team during the 2002 World Cup.

A rest for adults, a path to quality time In Sendai, the city of trees, a new hotel is created around the concept of a 'second home'. We invite you to take private time for yourself and relax as an adult in the sense of 'exclusivity' and 'comfort' offered by our chic atmosphere.
The hotel is very well-located in the heart of downtown with heaps of shops and eateries nearby. It's about a 10 minute walk to JR Sendai Station. Sendai as a whole is very walkable and if you like being on foot it's possible to see most of the sights that way. Or there are buses, including the loople, or the subway, with the hotel conveniently placed for using any of those. I stayed for three nights in a "superior double room" which had a reasonable amount of space, a large tv, comfy bed, small lounge near the window, desk, chair and mini table. The room had interesting city views. The decor was plain. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted (it could be turned off) but fortunately the temperature was about right. The bathroom had handy shelves (3) for cosmetics and toiletries which was good. It was nice and quiet at night and I slept well. The staff were all very nice, professional and polite. A young woman on reception, who I think was still learning some of the protocols and processes, was particularly helpful and charming. The lobby featured a beautiful large floral arrangement. Email communications prior to my arrival quickly clarified a couple of matters. A great breakfast is available for 1500 yen. Hope to stay again.

A relaxing hotel built in the image of Prague, the "golden city of 100 spires" that was at the cross-roads of culture and trade for central Europe down the ages. Even now, the city of Prague is renowned for its rich culture and fascinating architecture. This hotel reflects these qualities in an imaginative design that allows you to spend a peaceful time in the relaxing atmosphere, reminiscent of Prague itself.
Everything is pleasant at Hotel Monterrey Sendai. The location. The funky art deco. The staff. Except I won’t be back. They charge for the spa? Evening and again morning? I just don’t get it. Are the management a bunch of grumpy gaijin?
