Horrible Customer Service including the manager, and front staff. The room had a foul smell as well.
Reviewed By deecQ4093CTIf I could rate the hotel and the experience it would be a NEGATIVE 5 stars. NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE. There was no POSITIVE coming from this visit. Nor the manager or front staff was helpful. Poor customer service. Awaiting Check in to my room that the manager stated “There is no reservation for you” “I can give you a handicap assemble room, that’s all I can do” A 200.00 deposit was needed, that was only suppose to be a hold until check out. The manager assured me the 200.00 hold would be released and not charged by checkout the following day. I checked out early and was charged the full 200.00 the next day. I called the manager to inform him I was charged. His reply “You weren’t charged, give it 1-3 days” I explained to him that I was in fact charged the full 200.00. His reply “I don’t know what to tell you, maybe you need to call your bank” I had to open a dispute with my bank, awaiting a response. The hotel staff was not welcoming at all, the manager was the worst one of them all. Not helpful, not accommodating or trying to find a solution. The room had a horrible smell. The bathroom had no ventilation, and the water from the shower filled the whole bathroom. Multiple towels had to be used to clean up all the water. I couldn’t image a handicap individual having to deal with that issue in the bathroom. It wasn’t safe for me or my child. Definitely a hazard for falls. Not a good look for this hotel. We will not be staying at any other Best Western Hotel. That was the last of my money they will receive. The room was nothing special, definitely too low budget to even charge a 200.00 deposit. I didn’t understand the deposit being more than the hotel price itself. Other High end hotels only ask for a 75.00 deposit and that is just a hold placed if you happen to charge items on the room. This is ridiculous and the Corporate office definitely needs to take a look at their hotels, management and employees. I will definitely share my experience with Best Western to anyone who is traveling. That will be to “STAY AWAY, save your sanity, money and your time”

The worst customer service I had during my 20 days trip around California

When I arrived all over California the hotels were serving breakfast but this one was offering just a pancake without any juice because the juice machine was broken. I decided to go to a Target to buy my breakfast and I forgot to bring a plastic knife and fork. The front desk told me they couldn’t afford that as they already closed the breakfast area. I insisted if the guy couldn’t just walk in the area and grab one for me as he said no. Also my room there was one light that was not working and again I contacted the front desk and he said they couldn’t fix it because I won’t leave the hotel in the next day. He didn’t even offered me another room. The hotel elevator was completely wet when I arrived and very slippery and it was the same on the next day. If an elderly person step in could get injured. The funniest think is that I walked to Hampton Inn and Suite just across the street to check if they could give me a plastic knife and fork and the front desk invited me to their breakfast as it would close in 15 min and I could have something for eat there.

Dangerous mold and leaks
Reviewed By tsgreattripI felt an obligation to post: this place is dangerous. Our room was dirty, toilet leaking and to top it off leaking shower wall resulting in mold and mildew. Scary part: reception was aware of it (obviously) and put us there because there are no other rooms. Are you crazy?!? Then don’t sell rooms like that. This is not one day or one week of mold. We ran out of there as soon as we could.

Front desk Betty is rude and charges fraudulent late fees!
Reviewed By MBshelly85I was charged a $100 late check out fee when I did not even check out late! Beware of the fraudulent charges added for no reason!! Betty at the front desk is the rudest person that makes the company look bad!! I called from the room to ask why the were calling me at 10am and she said, “We did not call you!” I told her that why are they calling me at 10am when checkout is not till later and she said check out is at 12:30 and hung up on me. I called back and I told I asked why she hung up on me if I was asking her a question and her answer was that because she had answered my question and then she hung up. I left on time and when I leave the property we receive an alert for a $100 late charge fee. This extremely disappointing and even though I do business in the area my colleagues and myself can take our clients else where! I am looking forward to hearing back from the manager Sandy Warner, which is the general manager of the property, to get that charged disputed and refunded! Even after this bad experience i can say that the two pleasant and professional front desk representatives that helped, Priscilla and Klum did help alleviate a bit of the distress by helping me in pointing me in the right direction so that o can take this higher up to their general manager. I hope this all get resolved as it should because this is clearly not right!!

Never got most items. Coffee maker malfunctioned flooding surface. Cup I did have broke at the bottom and engulfed my phone. Everyone was in training and did not know anything. Digital key never worked. Asked for a manger to call me to discuss and asked for a refund. No manager ever called. Very noisy...room 318...street noise got us up at 6 a.m.

They’ve STOPPED TRYING
Reviewed By Boeing767The last several reviews tell the story of a hotel that just doesn’t care anymore. They rest on the Hilton name, and with a lower than normal price for the region. So, my son and I stayed on the Memorial Day holidays - the hotel was clearly practically EMPTY. There were no more than ten cars in the lot. So, they do NOT have a shuttle, so driving is really the only option: twenty bucks to park in an outside, unsecured lot. Zero effort at an upgrade, or even reading room request on my profile. I prefer a higher room due to noise. She put me on three without even looking. I asked for top floor and got it - but is it that hard to read the profile? Empty wine glass outside our room when we checked in … still there at departure time. And for the “piece de resistance”: the shampoo bottle in our room was only half full. I will be reaching out … I mean … my expectations are low, these days, but COME ONNNN. Bottom line … we are here overnight … but would not consider staying any longer than one night.
