Firstly, I want to say the reception staff of David and Sabu were fantastic and very helpful and always polite. As were the cleaning staff. We changed rooms as the lower room with the big terrace didn't have much of a view, so we took the room above and enjoyed beautiful views around the bay to Bandol on the other side. The room was large and the bed was at least 180cm wide - which is what I always look for. However... There were a few problems, the phone didn't keep a charge so I couldn't use it to phone reception, had to use our mobile each time, the kettle wouldn't turn off and filled the cupboard with steam dripping everywhere - I told reception and it was replaced with a new one next day, the bed wasn't terribly comfortable, could feel some springs, but the most annoying thing about the room is the shape of the toilet and seat. Whoever thought square toilets and seats were a good idea is nuts. It was so uncomfortable (dug into my thighs) and that is one of the reasons I'm dropping a star. I was also going to drop a star because of the restaurant. This is where the hotel really falls down. We booked a table for 7.30 and were shown to our seat. We knew what we wanted to drink but the waitress disappeared before we could order. It took another quarter of an hour to attract her attention. She was the only waitress serving! There was a girl handing out breadrolls but she didn't take food or drink orders. The restaurant kept filling and the waitress was run off her feet. When we finally got to order our drinks, we also ordered our meals as we didn't fancy wanting another 15 minutes or more to do so. The menu was limited in choice, but I chose the beef (medium rare) and my husband the duck. We then waited nearly an hour for it to arrive. It arrived very overdone. They were both so tough you couldn't get a knife to make a dint in the flesh. Attempts to get the waitresses attention failed so my husband went to the bar where she was preparing drinks - there was no barman apparently! He told her both our meals were inedible. She said it would take a while to get new ones. No kidding. So we waited and waited and eventually they arrived. This time my beef was blue and my husband's duck slightly overcooked. We didn't want to trouble the waitress again, lord knows how she didn't take a knife to someone she was so overworked, and ate the meals as the chef seemed incapable of cooking something correctly. The gravy on the beef was delicious. My husband complained to reception that night about the meal. When we left this morning he expressed his disappointment again and the meal was deducted from our bill. We chose not to have the breakfasts after the dinner disaster and just had coffee and tea in our room. Our second night at the hotel we walked to a local seafood restaurant on the water and had a delicious meal with terrific service, then enjoyed our walk back to La Farandole through the beautiful sighing pines. If it had not been for the professionalism of David and Sabu, I would have given far less stars.

4 star hotel, only deserving 3 stars. Far to expensive for services provided. We payed 130 Euros without breakfast. On top we had to pay 10 Euros for an open parking space. Hotel in need of renovation, plants, carpet, etc. Simple outdated rooms. Very bad insulation between rooms. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good location, walking distance to sea and town center.

Near the small fishing Provencal harbour and pedestrian streets, the Grand Hotel des Bains, an atypical and charming hotel, proposes you 31 renovated rooms all equiped. It's the ideal place for holidays, sightseeing tours and seminars also. Its restaurant "Un Coin de...'" Will make you discover a creative and refined diner, combinating flavors of the world and Provencal savors. For relaxation, an oriental beauty salon will welcome you.
Unfortunately we arrived in Sanary sur Mer without a booking and it was the Xmas Spectacle so absolutely nowhere to park. Adonis Sanary les bains offered parking on site for €9 day so that's what we did. The position was very central and a real bonus for parking. The room had a pleasant street view with a balcony and furniture along with the previous bookings dirty smoke ends. The room was very very small, not perfectly cleaned with hairs in the shower base. It offered free wifi but was not accessible at all. The exterior gardens which I am sure are beautiful in the summer were overgrown with weeds. Parking on sight definitely the bonus for us.

Only a one night stay, I wish it could have been longer. Such a quaint property, and the staff was so helpful and kind. I am an American, and I came here as I was traveling on to Italy. The room was a bit rustic by some standards, but very comfortable, clean and plenty of space. Giant bathroom! I loved the courtyard/pool area, and wish I had time to try the restaurant. Reminded me of a Key West, Florida style place. I hope to return soon, thank you!

THE SEA, THE NATURE, THE PEACE, THE INTIMITY… IDEALLY LOCATED, 5MIN AWAY FROM SANARY SUR MER, BANDOL, L’ÎLE DES EMBIEZ… On the Côte d’Azur, in the Var (83), in Six Fours les Plages, a contemporary villa overhanging the bay of Sanary sur Mer and Bandol, with direct access to the beach and to the tropical park of one hectare… A priviled geographical location for everyones pleasure!
My wife and I honeymooned here in July 2018. We found this amazing hidden gem on a different site and weren't quite sure what to expect, but were up for the adventure. We could not have been more satisfied with this experience!!! Jacques and his team (and family) were incredibly welcoming and totally accommodating to any questions or needs that we had. The room that we had is lovely and we would stay there again in a flash - in fact we're planning on it for our first anniversary next year. Don't miss out on the offer of trying the Provencale Apero in the gardens on at least one evening to watch the sun set elegantly over the peninsular on the western side of the bay! The beach is small but very accessible, and the private gardens are amazing. The location is very good, offering easy access to Sanary and also Six Fours, both of which have lovely restaurants and beaches. A hire car is probably advisable and Marseilles airport is about an hour's drive away.

We’ve just returned from our annual stay in Sanary and this year we stayed in a cabin here. Over the years we’ve stayed in cabins, a tent and a caravan here but this year we stayed in an “Ophea” cabin. Friendly staff as always, accommodation was clean, well kept and the air conditioning was much needed. We ate at the restaurant one night and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. We also used the takeaway pizza, and the small shop too. All as advertised really. The main pool and kids pool were clean and warm. Another excellent stay, we will be back

Sadly I do not have anything nice to say despite my "bonne humeur". The main reason I went there was because I love seafood. I ordered the tartar of tuna - with strawberry and wasabi chantilly. Tuna tartare super tasty, wasabi chantilly no taste of wasabi, insipide cream. strawberry, yes why not, I am hungry anyway. I was recommended king prawn with green crabe sauce and black risotto. Why not, I am curious and hungry. Major mistake! Dirty prawn with poop line on each of them. Big NO GO! Ambience was top NOT - staff arguing anf thereating each other, a kind of Lady manager wearing such brighful dress could not see anyone else. A snob style. But the

Pitibi is a door in the wall, but when you call our nice host arrived to show us the room. Newly refurbished, at bit of old and new. Nice large room, good sleeping facilities, but otherwise old building full of "brocante". Back garden could need freshening up. On the day the seating arrangements were soaking the rain, but all pillows out in the rain. Hrm. Free beer and water from the kitchen, but no soap or shampoo in the shower, just handsoap (which had been thinned with water). We had breakfast on the town so no experience of that. For one night ok, but some details to be taken care of...
