My husband and I recently had dinner at this hotel. We were staying nearby and this was the closest place to have dinner. What a find...this is a family run hotel and we were invited to have dinner in the dining room with the hotel guests. We each had Wiener schnitzel which was delicious. But what made this place special was that the waitress, who was a family member, decided that we should meet another American couple staying there and introduced us. We spent the rest of the evening with them and had a very fun time. The family owners also invited us personally to come back.

Winkler Sport Hotel is a jewel of hospitality in the heart of South Tyrol.
We stayed at the Hotel Winkler 5 days and everything was just perfect. Hotel is beautifully designed, very clean and nice. Food is delicious, the fruit is always fresh, deserts are tasty, coffee is great, cocktails are perfect! Hotel staff are all very much helpful and make you feel welcome every step of the way. We were fascinated how many activities the hotel offers, and we suggest you try them - hiking trips, horse riding, workouts, spa services. I also really appreciated that they have trainer at the hotel and 2-3 workouts every day, I really enjoyed working out in the morning, makes you feel good all day. The vacation was so relaxing and enjoyable, it really exceeded our expectations, and we definitely plan to come back!

Alpenrose is a good, standard alpine mountain hotel. Well maintained, comfortable and clean. What makes Alpenrose a great place is the people! Staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful, level which I have not experienced even in a 5 start hotels. There was nothing too difficult for the staff - we informed the hotel that we are arriving late, after the kitchen closing time, not a problem, cold cut plate, salad and bread was waiting for us, wine up for us to choose. Bar - open as long as the guests were around and so on... Service was just impeccable! Will certainly go back if a trip takes me to the area!

Steeped in history, beautifully maintained and impressive in every way, this hotel is like nowhere else I've ever stayed. When you book, be sure and get "3/4 board" so both your breakfast and dinner are included. All of the food is wonderful: creative, locally-sourced and impeccably executed. The service is wonderful and you'll never find a better location. We always come in the fall and have never been disappointed.

We stayed at the hotel for less than a week, and we really enjoyed the stay. It would have been perfect except for some minor inconveniences. The owners are very nice, as is all of the staff. Very helpful and friendly. Let’s start with the room itself. Space was more than adequate having a double bed, and a desk. Quite enough power sockets and a fairly good WiFi signal. Took some time to get used to the matress (very soft) and the pillows are so soft, it was like they weren’t even there. Had to double them up. The bathroom was spacious enough, and almost brand new. The shower water pressure was great, and luckily our bathroom had a window (not all rooms do). Towels were fresh and changed daily. The balcony looked out over the swimming pool, and onto the mountains with a beautiful view. In the summer if you sleep with the windows open, the pool side is noisier in the morning. With the windows closed though, you can hardly hear anything outside. With climate change coming on, even areas that never needed air conditioning, will start to require it in the future. Our stay would have been much more pleasant with AC in the room. Although, I haven't found a hotel in the area which has it in the rooms, even though most all have AC in their restaurants. If its hot enough to have AC for eating, it should also be for sleeping. The restaurant was great, the food very high quality and varied throughout the week. Unfortunately, there were very few Sud Tyrolian dishes, mainly only typical Italian fare. But all very good, as well as the presentation of each dish, very well curated. The only low point was the flies. They were everywhere, especially the restaurant (ground floor). I don’t know if it was just a coincidence of our week here, but seeing all of the dairy farms with the cows surrounding the area, I’d think they are a staple of the area. In fact I’m writing this review seated outside the hotel bar, (swatting flies) and today the wind is bringing wafts of cow urine right to up me. But hey, we’re in the countryside, its better than exhuast fumes. The buffet breakfast spread is typical of the area with cold cuts and cheeses as the protagonists, unfortunately the flies enjoyed them as well as they were all over the food. I don’t understand why only some the cheese was (poorly) protected with a net from the flies, while all the rest of the buffet spread was left unprotected with the flies free to land on whatever was available. The hotel also has a large wellness center with sauna, steam room, hot tub, massages etc etc. which I didn’t use so cannot comment on the facilities.

We spent here just two nights. The rate was very high but unfortunately the price was not justified... the room, on the 1st floor, was so noisy. We suffered really early wake-up because the breakfast was served just in front of our room and they honestly did nothing to avoid noises. Secondly, housekeepers aggressively opened our room with no care if we were inside or not. And this happened twice in the early morning, just because they decided rhey had to clean up our room. Unbelievable.

My husband and I recently stayed overnight at this farm. The room was lovely and we had a large balcony. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was one of the best that we experienced on a many day trip in the Dolomites. The Breakfast Buffett was delicious along with an omelette of speck and cheese. The farm sits on the side of a hill in a fairy tale type setting.

This is a 3*** star hotel. An excellent one. not only because of its nice wellness area, comfy new rooms and great atmosphere, but because these ladies (sisters) are trying so hard to make it. Best antpasti-starters ever! Price axtremely fair. Go for it.

In summer, the picturesque surroundings invite you to dreamlike hiking or mountain bike tours. As well, you can relax in our garden with trampoline for your children. Swimming, playing tennis or riding is possible in the nearby sports area of Reischach. In winter, the skiing area of Mt. Kronplatz awaits you with dreamlike slopes and a cross-country ski run is available in the environs of Weliserhof, too.
Stayed for a week with kids at this family run farm. Apt was clean, practical and comfortable, someone from the family was always there to help and give advise. Location is perfect as it is halfway between Bruneck centre and Kronplatz skilifts. Would love to go back in the summer season too.
