On the ground floor you will find the Wine Bar iPoint Hotel, the Reception, the Breakfast Room and large common areas renovated in style and style, together with a careful service and attention to detail, create an experience of a warm welcome. Nestled in the quiet of the plain of Bologna, in San Giovanni in Persiceto, halfway between Bologna and Modena, iPoint Hotel is located 15 minutes from the international airport "Guglielmo Marconi" of Bologna; 25 minutes from the historic centre of Bologna and 21 minutes from Bologna Central Station; 20 minutes from Unipol Arena; 15 km from the Bologna motorway exit "Borgo Panigale" and exit 3 of the Bologna ring road. Large free private parking in front of the hotel and video-controlled unattended garage (8 places) for a fee. Dedicated transfer services (car rental with driver) on availability and at variable rates. The hotel is located in San Giovanni in Persiceto, 2 km from the historic center. 1.4 km from the local station of San Giovanni in Persiceto to get to Bologna Centrale in 18 minutes.

Reviewed By markstein2000Avoid, avoid. If your experience is anything like that of 3 of us travelling together then you will be disappointed. Location is not convenient for any restaurants or shops; the advertised Gym facility is woeful; the quality of food is average at best and the rooms have multiple major faults. Real examples of things gone wrong across 3 rooms on our arrival include: aircon not working, room 1; bathroom light, telephone and electric black-out blind not opening, room 2; shower not working at all due to various shower tap pieces placed on sink unit, room 3; no hot water at all second morning, room 2 (and overheard another guest complaining of same). Constant clicking every 10 seconds from the electric fusebox as lights in bathroom switch on and off without any switch being pressed. No apology whatsoever from any of the hotel staff when any of the above faults were reported. They probably hear it every day and can’t do anything to resolve it. Trying to find anything positive - the rooms are large and clean. Doesn’t make up for a really poor experience in all other areas though. AVOID Really is a NoPoint Hotel.

Reviewed By tracy vThis hotel is super . Basic but wonderful. Very clean with staff especially Francesco and owner who were always there to help when we needed. Rooms spacious and grounds amazing to chill in and take in the sun and fresh air. Close to airport snd approx 35 minutes to central Bologna

Reviewed By Pummy75I work for one of the most reputed brands in Italy - Ferrari and i am from Middle east.Inspite of speaking to the reception and sending n number of e mails to avail a room , the front office people seem damn bothered about how to speak to a customer or guide him in the right way .Also i suppose they dont know english and hand up the phone on your face . Dont even think of going and staying at such a place in my life. Better go for I point hotel .The staff are so kind and friendly

Reviewed By SandrocsptThe restaurant and hotel are set back from the road in what was an old farmhouse with outbuildings, now restored with modern design features bringing the old farmhouse to life among the beautiful country surroundings. I did not stay at the hotel but dined at the restaurant with friends We were served by Stefano and Carla who guided us around their extensive wine list helping us to choose the correct wine for our meal. The menu was a comprehensive collection of local dishes and several specialties consisting of game which we opted to taste being in the culinary capital of Italy.. Bologna is not called "La Grassa" for nothing. We enjoyed a three course meal which was absolutely divine, finishing off our meal with an array of liqueurs and coffee.We felt as though we had eaten in a Michelin star restaurant!. The fantastic food,the impeccable service and the relaxed and homely feel made it a wonderful dining experience. If you wish to be close to the city but immersed in the beauty of the Bologna countryside then this is the place to visit and stay.I know I will definitely be heading back there when I am next in the area, only this time with more friends so they can taste the exquisite menu.

Reviewed By SchroftWe spent 5 nights in this wonderful Hotel. Everything is fine and perfect - we enjoyed the relaxing time and also the restaurants at San Giovanni are very, very good. The Hotel is five minutes by fppt from the city center away, and also Bologna or Modena is easy to resch. There is a lot to discover. Thanks to Monica and Davide, we will come back.
