Reviewed By julie_mcproFerries between Italy & Greece often start or finish at difficult times. Mar y Sierra offers the perfect stop-over point, just forty minutes from the port. I first went there fourteen years ago when it was a family-run business, but it's been taken over now and is part of a small group of three campsites. We've also stayed at Cole Verde in Siena, so we look forward to this site developing in the future. We received a warm welcome and chose our own pitch on one of the terraces overlooking San Costanzo. It really is a beautifully quiet & pastoral setting. There is still room for improvement where the toilets are concerned, but hopefully things will improve. Being a member of ACSI, the fees were very affordable at this time of year. There is a restaurant on site which is open until 11:30pm. We will definitely stay again ...

Great host, fabulous area and a lovely room
Reviewed By daffystjobWe never stayed in Marche before and what a treat it was. This BnB was positioned on the edge of a small village and the views from the balcony and pool were just beautiful. I have never appreciated farming land as much as here. The balcony offered a seat for a spectacular sunset. The room may have been described as a little old fashioned but I loved the farm feel of the furniture, the room wasn't huge but then we didn't spend an awful lot of time in there, just enough to get a decent sleep on the comfy bed. The host spoke much better English than my own Italian so we can't complain on that front. hey breakfast was very nice with lots of sweet treats as well as crusty rolls, all homemade. The pool is large and overlooks the countryside. The host invited us to come and enjoy some of his homemade pizza early evening, which we did, it was delicious, the onion pizza he made was just gorgeous. Thank you for a lovely stay.

La casa è grande e gli spazi abbondanti, la stanza è pulita e il bagno accanto alla stanza ma a nostra esclusiva disposizione; peccato solo per la tenda in plastica per la doccia che ha sempre la poco simpatica abitudine di finirti addosso. tutto sommato una buona esperienza

Country house omgetoverd tot unieke verblijfplaats met 2 zeer mooie complete kamers en een appartement, grote tuin met zwembad en uitzicht op de Marche heuvels. In een notendop? Subliem ontbijt met zicht op de heuvels van de Marche, tuin vol leuke zithoekjes en zwembad. Wandelen en fietsen in het glooiende hinterland of nabijgelegen Adriatische kust, regio vol fabuleuze uitzichten en lekkere restaurantjes om te ontdekken en vooral géén massa toeristen. Oase van rust en genieten. Dit pareltje wordt beheerd door Massimo en Daniela, 2 supervriendelijk mensen die er hun levensdoel van gemaakt hebben hun gasten te behagen. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt met alle dagen vers gebakken "Dolce" uit de keuken van Daniela. Dit alles voor een zeer schappelijke prijs, niet twijfelen doen !

Niente da dire nell’accoglienza di Francesca, ma va rivisto molto dell’arredamento e l’ordine dei locali ! A non tutti piace trovarsi circondati da abiti e scarpe dei proprietari! Può e deve migliorare!

Qualitá e gentilezza
Reviewed By Alphard92Cercavo un B&B ad un buon prezzo ed incuriosito dalle recensioni positive ho prenotato al Glicine. inutile dire che i recensori avevano ragione : le stanze e biancheria pulitissime, gentilezza della signora e soprattutto colazione fatta in casa squisita . Qui ho mangiato i croissants piú buoni che abbia mai assaggiato, altro che le porcherie che vendono ai supermarket! Inoltre location in campagna ma ben collegata. L'unico appunto che ho da fare (per cui non posso dare 5 stelle) é la mancanza di zanzariere in camera e la strada d'accesso un pó dissestata. per il resto é un voto pieno ricapitolando , pro: -pulizia -camere ampie e belle -prezzo -gentilezza -bontá e genuinitá della colazione contro: -strada un pó nascosta e dissestata -niente zanzariere in camera quindi presenza di insetti Ci torneró sicuramente all'occasione
