This really should be a 5 star review, but somehow the hotel did not quite meet our expectations. First, the good things. The staff were lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. The air con worked extremely well, and the body wash and shampoo were in nice little bottles that were replenished daily. The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a nice big bathtub. There is a large swimming pool, and the car park had a type 2 AC EV charge point. But … The decor of the room and the corridor leading to it (on the ground floor) had a sort of faded elegance, as though it once was fabulous but needs some loving care. The tiles around the sink were very roughly cut and grouted, and the bath had a shower with those flimsy plastic shower curtains that was not nice. The gardens looked unkept, and the grass really needed mowing; the steps through the lawn were submerged. The restaurant area looked very fresh and well maintained by comparison with the rest of the hotel. We did not eat in the restaurant, neither breakfast nor dinner; we had not planned to … which is just as well because the first night we got there it was fully booked. Overall, it was a good stay, but somehow should have been better!

Quitness and luxury without ostentation. In this large flour and oil Mill dating of 1834 plunged in the verdant meadows. The mill offers 5 spacious and surprising rooms, all with private facilities.Ideal for a dream vacation in the country side, hiking, bicycle rides, golf, horseback riding, next to the tourist sites of Grignan, Suze la Rousse, Vaison la Romaine, Nyons.
Been here July 2017 with a group of friends (total of 10), therefore we had booked the full house. After a long and tiring drive we could only feel happy and thankful for having booked Le Moulin de Montsegur: quiet and offside busy streets, wonderful natural garden, huge pool with salty water no chlorine smell, the sound of a stream on the background, spacious rooms, excellent sleeping quality, upscale details and decoration, first-class breakfast, homemade jams, jovial hosts ready to make you feel at home. We had the chance to use the BBQ and celebrate with our friends in the garden, our hosts assisted with all our wishes to prepare the dinner. As a side note, should you be in the area for cycling, the B&B is very convenient for Mont Ventoux and your bikes at home secure. We are looking forward to our next holidays here!

In the heart of the Saint Paul trois Chateaux village, located in the Drome Provencal (France), an ideal place for visiting the region: Grignan and its Chateau, Les Baronnies, Nyons, Orange, Avignon, Vaison la Romaine, etc… Easy access: motorway A7, exit Bollène (coming from the South) and Montélimar (coming from the North). This former sixteenth century mansion welcomed Catherine de Médicis in 1564. L’Esplan is LOGIS HOTELS member.
We dined here on Sunday evening with a Menu dinner. The host was pleasant, seating us on the terrace and we ordered an aperitif. The Clairette de Die was wonderful, as was the muscat--but from there it went downhill. The waiter was sour and not particularly pleasant or friendly or helpful, the entree was good (tartare salmon) but the dorade was overcooked. My dining companions had the alternate dinner which was cooked fine according to them, but the entire experience was not pleasant--the tone set by the waiters was continued by the other patrons who spoke either not at all, or only in the briefest whispers. It was one of the longest dinners of my life, and I would rather had stood while eating a slice of pizza and listening to others enjoy their dinner than the pained silence and whispers. The value was poor as the entire dinner for three amounted to 130 Euros. Try another restaurant in Grignan for an evening spent in the company of patrons enjoying their meal and the surroundings.

très jolie escapade en Drôme provençale une nuit dans cette belle suite chez des hôtes particulièrement accueillants et aux petits soins. Les enfants ont apprécié la baignade. Un régal autour du petit déjeuner fait maison. On recommande

Generally: Centrally located in the triangle Avignon, Montélimar and Mt. Ventoux. The “residence“ contains of two safari tents for six persons and four houses in line. If you are electromagnetic hypersensitive: two 4/5G masts are standing just outside the premises dressed up as trees. Furthermore, prepare for mosquitoes in the evenings. Due to strong winds your booking of a tent may be rebooked to a house. We were told that the residence has just been sold, so policies may have changed by new owners. Pros: The glamping experience itself was quite nice. The tents (2019) are well maintained and surrounded by trees, which provide sufficient shade. Beds (one double, one bunk bed and one double bedstead) are firm and covered with disposable linnen. This could raise some eyebrows, but was fine with us. Bathroom was clean and convenient with rain shower. Wood stove in dining area. Bakery and local supermarket at just a 10 minute stroll. Intermarche with gasstation at around 10 -15 car minutes. Just across the street all kinds of fresh vegetables are sold. The U-shaped pool (deep and shallow part) is very clean and just a little salty, which was actually quite nice. Slippery tiled descent, which can easily be used for a wheelchair entering the pool. Day beds and shower available. No separate pool towels provided. The place is quiet and tranquil. Cons: After reading many of the comments we - unfortunately - have to confirm the vibes surrounding the current owners. It is difficult to understand their attitude towards their “valued” guests. To be positive and constructive, we provide some basic and simple tips for the owners to get out of the COVID-crisis soon: - never treat your guests as fools. Do not try to cover up double bookings with made-up reasons. Guests do actually share information with each other, you know. - if you choose to accept bookings via Booking.com, refrain from approaching your guests directly with adjusted (payment)conditions - COVID-19 is not an excuse for everything. - manage expectations. Be transparent what guests may or may not expect (contrary to advertisements and promises). - complaining guests are always right, always. Let’s do the test… - if you decide to charge rates in the same category as luxurious hotels in down town Paris, than live up to the expectations. - so, under promise and over perform and not the other way around. Private jacuzzi? bikes? stargazer? towels? mosquito nets? real linnen? sufficient toilet paper? ventilator? some basics like hand soap? garbage facility? warm welcome? It is easy to make guests feel truly appreciated - Making money should never be you primary goal. Guests should not feel like a burden. - believe it or not, but in these online times well performing WiFi is like clean water to most guests. An easy score we would say! - unfortunately, your business and convictions are not the centre of the universe. For guests there is a lot more to choose. Really. With these well-meant tips we wish you all the best with your future business!
