Located an hour away from Chandigarh, Prakriti Farm is an organic farm stay quietly nestled in the foothills of the Shivalik range. Here you can experience the best of Punjabi country hospitality and "life on the farm", together with delicious Punjabi food cooked with ingredients grown on the farm.
We visited Prakriti Farm during the end of Jan and thoroughly enjoyed staying in the middle of nature at the Sunrise cottages. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday close to nature then this is the right place to be. The rooms are very spacious with all basic amenities. The owners were helpful and helped us plan visits to local attractions and the nature reserve.Really special, such a beautiful place!

Our weekend gateway to Bharat Garh fort was an amazing experience. It’s a perfect Royal home stay with it’s rich history, splendid location, scrumptious food, and the very royal and warm company of the hosts themselves.. Whether it’s with family, couples or even friends I would highly recommend Bharatgarh fort for an enriching experience :)

We celebrated new year eve 2022 at Kikar lodge. Must confess the hospitality was outstanding , food at various restaurants were good. A lot of our demanding requests were met with a smile, we had taken 6 rooms in all and the management was kind enough to upgrade us to a luxury tent. A special mention to the Flying fox zip line which is remarkable and a never-seen-before experience. lots of other activities to do to keep yourself busy. Would like to convey our thanks to the management and to Amarindar for planning our special sundowner safari. wish we could have spent some more days in this resort, surprisingly was not heavy on the pocket either. I would encourage all age groups to try out the resort & DONT MISS THE ZIP LINE :-)

Anand at The Satluj is situated on the southern edge of the holy town of Sri Anandpur Sahib on the banks of the river Satluj. Built on the private farm of Sodhi Vikram Singh, a descendant of the former ruling family of Sri Anandpur Sahib. This farm stay has been developed to support rural tourism and give guests a glimpse of the rich agricultural traditions and social warm of the rural people.
We traveled as a group and had 4 rooms to ourselves. We were the only guests in the property and stayed one night - they have 20 odd rooms overall. The location of the property is terrific and the architecture is nicely done. We also appreciated the theme of celebrating Sikh culture and values keeping in line with the local environment. However, the property is extremely poorly maintained and lacks any care. We heard that the property has recently been sold to the AM Kollection chain of hotels - they have clearly done a poor job of taking over so far. Our ordeal started when we checked in itself - we discovered that there were half a dozen or so lizards in each(!) room. Lizard poop was scattered over the beds. While we certainly understand that staying in a farm / rural area comes with its share of wildlife, here it felt like they have let it run wild and not really bothered to clean up. The toilets in a couple of rooms were covered with stains (yuck!) and hadn't been cleaned at all - it felt like the rooms hadn't been inhabited in a long time, and no cleaning had been done recently. Cobwebs are all over the place. Even the chairs and tables in the lawn are not kept clean. We ordered lunch on settling in - a very simple meal of a couple of curries and rotis. The lunch arrived almost 2 hours later! The food was bland and not very tasty. We were traveling with 2 kids, and tired and weary from a long roadtrip. This was absolutely unacceptable. When we enquired with the staff, we were told that they have very few staff in the property. We only saw 3 staff during our entire trip - one manager who was hardly around or available (he's new to the job), one waiter who probably doubles as kitchen help, and one housekeeper. The manager was clueless about many things - one example: he didn't even know the directions to the Keshgarh Gurudwara which is 10 mins from the property and the main local attraction. The manager told us that the average occupancy at the property is around 20-30% for most part of the year. Dinner was the same ordeal - we informed them in the afternoon and ordered for it to be ready at 830pm. It was provided only an hour later. The kids had lost their appetite and went to bed cranky. Again, it was lacking in taste. During the evening, we checked out their Polo lounge. It looks great in pictures, but sucks in reality. The chairs are unstable, lizards are running around all over, and they didn't even have billiard balls and cue sticks! To add to the misery, they play this devotional music at a high volume throughout the property ALL DAY LONG! Our ordeal didn't quite end smoothly the next morning - the water in the shower is bloody cold. AT checkout, we asked for a discount in our bill given all of the gaps in the property and our experience. However, the manager was unwilling. When we called the lady from AM Kollection who took our booking, initially she didn't even answer our calls and sent a message back that she is unavailable. When we requested the manager to speak with her, she picked up and after much persuasion agreed to a tiny discount. Their attitudes to customer feedback was extremely defensive. There is a massive gap in what they charge v/s what they actually deliver at this place. We will certainly not be going back here, nor recommending this "eco-luxury" property to other travelers.

Our hotel is situated at the holy city of Sri Anandpur Sahib, Punjab. We have 20 well furnished rooms. We have a party hall for 100 persons also.
Had it been possible, I would have given zero stars to this hotel and its staff. When you enter the hotel, I was greeted by a sardarji with his feet on the reception table. It felt as if you've reached a government office rather than an hotel. Followed by this the hotel refused to honour a fully paid online booking saying that we are not giving rooms to customers of a particular website because they pay us less. I was asked to pay 2000 rupees more for two rooms per night even though I had already paid 4500 rupees per night. I was shocked and felt cheated but obviously I had no option but to pay more as my old age mother and child were ill and it was late in evening. Despite agreeing to pay more there was no one to pick up luggage from our vehicle. No one to give even a glass of water. ACs in rooms are non functional. They'll do a drama of finding new remotes as the old one might not be working but they never found the remotes (obviously the ACs were not serviced well) and we had to spend entire night in intense heat. Linen and towels are dirty and there is hardly any hygiene in washrooms. Food is average. In the end, visit only if you want to get harassed.

You get what you pay for.....it's a budget hotel so don't expect anything great. The room was a little gloomy because it was painted brown . The blanket was also brown. A towel and a soap/shampoo/moisturiser was provided. There is a restaurant where breakfast can be had on order . The other meals can be arranged on payment. My stay would have been a sad story if it had not been for Anil Arora who ran the place . Bubbly, positive ,always smiling , giving useful information ,he made up for all the short-comings of the hotel.....

Clean room and good air conditioning. Bed and toilet was clean. Looks like fairly new property. I stayed here during my business trip. The location was easy to find to cab driver from railway station. This hotel also serves good food so I did not have to look at other places for dinner. The staff was helpful in recommending me places to visit as well. Their aalo ka parantha is amazing. Try it.
