This was the worst resort I have been to. I came here for my 50rh birthday and it was a mistake. This is the cheapest resort I have seen. The staff does not treat people equally, very bias towards certain people. The staff is not friendly, no one speaks English except at the front desk. The food is horrible. We walked into the buffet restaurant exactly when the opened up and the food looked like it had been there for hours. We had to beg the wait staff for service, when they catered to others. The rooms were very boring and the mini bar was half stocked and you have to call everyday to get restocked. I've been to several RIUs and the price to stay here was great, but you get what you pay for. There was one elevator to the whole resort and we had to walk up and down 7 floors everyday to go to the beach or to eat. Please don't waste your money. The app was very useful. I had to call the front desk when we first got there and the phone rang for ten mins and no one ever answered. I had to use the app to get service. The speciality restaurants was always not available. Half the time our only choice was the nasty buffet. I watched certain individuals get turned away then other individuals being lead in the restaurant that supposedly was fully booked. This resort is not right. Don't waste your money. Everything is sub standard.

Resort is nice with great location and pools. Noise is a serious issue between rooms and in general. We got to know our neighbors and we never met. There are adjoining doors between the rooms that offer zero sound protection. You can hear everything and every word that is said like you are in their room with them. The resort sets up a nightclub in one of the restaurants on the beach every night. It is outrageously loud with music at crazy levels until around 2am. I can’t understand how anyone who manages a resort could possibly think this is ok in close proximity to rooms. It’s not just a bit loud. It is ridiculous. I am literally laying in bed writing this review because I can’t sleep over the screaming guests and never ending music. Minimally, rotate the venue in order to give the same guests a break. If you want an ocean view room like I have be ready to pay the price in noise. The constant overly loud music is an issue 18 hours a day. You just can’t escape it at any of the pool areas. I don’t mind music, but I don’t need the same music in my face at overly loud levels at every public area. Maybe I’d just like to relax at one public area without it. Just a thought. The food is decent but we have noticed it to be repetitive. The rooms are nice but nothing overly special. Again, this is a nice resort and the location, resort in general, beach, and pools are great. It could be better.

This was our first trip with my husband and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The staff at Playa Blanca make your stay even better. Although they spoke very little English, it was not that hard to communicate what we needed or ask any questions we had. They are all very friendly, polite, respectful, and helpful individuals. We stayed for a week and made a good connection with one of the bartenders at the pool, José. He is truly an amazing person that can make some good drinks and will keep your spirits up. As for our room, we had the deluxe family room with two queen-size beds and a view looking out at the pool with the slides. We were able to control the AC, had a TV, WIFI (throughout the resort), a safe, a closet to hang clothes if needed, a mini-fridge and a clean bathroom. But our phone did not work for some reason so any questions we had to go to the front desk or ask one of the workers. Our towels would get replaced every day by the cleaning staff and they would ask if we were in our room if we would like our room cleaned which was quite nice. For the pool area, they give you towels if you give them your towel card so they can keep track of the towels they provide and when you're done using it, they will give back your towel card. The pool is kept quite clean. Although, sometimes there will be some small leaves in the pool or sand at the bottom of the pool as you walk. They have slides that are quite fast when you go down them but are enjoyable. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was not working when we were there but overall, their pools are just like the pictures that we shown and nice. The food provided was breakfast, lunch and dinner at specific frames times of the day that they give you when you check-in and between them is when the snack bar is open which is usually nachos, hot dogs or a burger. They have a variety of food during the day and would change it up every day. They did have an Italian restaurant for dinner that included appetizers, main course and dessert. You had to book beforehand on the day of and was FREE. They do provide unlimited alcohol and their entertainment is quite consistent throughout the day. They have some stretches in the pool during the day, a performance of the workers dancing and a talent show every night. There are a variety of excursions available at the resort such as jetsking, ATVing, horseback riding, kayaking and many more. Also outside of the resort which is usually with a tour guide. Both do come with a cost in USD and vary for all. For the excursions at the resort, there is a pamphlet and outside, you can ask the front desk for help. As for some feedback, the signs of the food at the buffet could include some English as we were not sure if a food dish was pork or beef. The cleanliness of the sand at the bottom of the pool could be improved. On the Sunwing website, the photos are outdated and need more photos to justify the great resort. Overall, our trip was an 8/10 and thank you to the workers that made our stay enjoyable, and George from Sunwing who was a fantastic tour guide that was available whenever we needed him.

Togo B&B is a small exclusive boutique hotel located on the Pacific coast of Panama, in the Cocle province. Due to its privileged location it offers its guests comfortable accommodations in a beautiful setting of lush vegetation and a wonderful beach only steps away, perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. We are located an hour and a half drive from Panama City on the beautiful Panamanian coastline.
So glad we spent the afternoon and night here. For such a reasonable price Togo provides so many extras like wifi, a/c, kitchen access, beach chairs and umbrellas, palapas for shade at the beach, and hammocks in the gardens. It's just across the street from the beach with private access. Rooms clean and bed comfortable. So nice we stayed another night!

We had a great stay at Casa Greca! Beachfront? Directly at the beach with lovely owners. You can chill in one of the hammocks, and enjoy the sound of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious! We recommend to choose Casa Greca for your stay at Playa Farallon!

This small and friendly guesthouse is located in Farallon del Chiru, a small fishing and touristic village on the shore of the Pacific Ocean. This area of Panama is characterized throughout the year for its unusual sunny weather, tropical temperature and little rainfall. We are located at 5 meters from the beach. The long and wide beach is between a rocky reef and the Farallon River. It is possible to enjoy and practice various outdoor activities and relax around a nice table at the hostel porch or at the garden. Right next to Acuarela Hostel there is a small supermarket that has meat, fish, vegetables and several other products. Early in the mornings here is also the possibility to buy fresh fish to the local fishermen. Guest can also ask the hostel staff for prepared meals for an small extra fee. Within 1 km there are a variety of restaurants , small convinience stores, a night club and a casino. The Hostel offers to the travelers a bed in a two shared, colourful and spacious dormitories and one private/family room, all them with air conditioning and a security locker. The bathroom is shared. Facilities offerd to the guest includes a fully equipped kitchen, free coffee services in the morning and high speed WiFi service. At Acuarela Hostel you will find a ideal place where to relax from a hard week of work or just a stop on your jorney.
The Posada Acuarela is a charming place strategically located with access to the beach and many other nice places in playa Farallón. You can choose to be in an empty beach or go to private nice places with good food and drinks. It’s the perfect option for a good price weekend at the beach.

Peaceful and relaxing laid back vibes galore with excellent pool and breakfast. Best breakfast in Panama with eggs, meat, toast, fruit and even French roast coffee. Its a large private property steps from the beach, as well as 3 decent beach restaurants, with a few more just down the road along with a fish market. A mini market is across the street but doesn't have much fresh food. The staff is multi lingual and one of the breakfast cooks is French so she cooks very well. The pool is always warm and nice. Large covered area for yoga and ping-pong. The bed was comfortable with excellent ac and a powerful ceiling fan. I didn't want to leave.

This was our first time in Panama. Once landing at the airport be prepared for a tarmac deboarding process, it was organized and quite fast due to using both doors of the plane. After passing customs and getting your photo taken, you board an air-conditioned bus that takes you a seven-minute drive to the resort! Once at the resort, the staff guides you to the conference room where they give you a drink and an official welcome to Panama from the Playa Blanca Animation team, dressed in traditional Panamanian attire. It’s a very nice show. PROS: - The staff go out of the way to help you - Our room was clean - The food options are amazing and the quality is on point - The evening entertainment is fun and engaging - Nice path to go on a walk within the resort with an area to see local birds - Feels very safe - Staff is not “pushy” and it's like they don't even expect it when you tip them - A/C in the room worked well and your drink fridge is restocked daily CONS: - Can get very busy - Food lines can get quite long but move fairly quickly- - The beach chairs are not cleaned frequently enough -To get to the LAGON beach and restaurant (which is on the far side of the resort) is quite a long walk and does not offer shuttle service - Massage is quite expensive (but very nice) - Elevators are not in every building so expect to climb some stairs - The gym is hidden away and needs some serious revamping -No face cloths or “rags” TIPS: - To get warm water for a shower, do not turn the handle to the far left. Warm water is on as soon as you turn on the tap. Hot water is not on the traditional side as it is in Canada or The United States, for our room it was on the opposite side -Do not engage with people on horses on the public beach -English is not most people’s first language on the resort (it's Spanish) - There are a lot of locals and South Americans, so expect a local feel - Only takes American currency including the game room - Wi-Fi is a hit and miss but works 90% of the time in the resort -Upon leaving the resort it is a small airport. There are no restaurants or shops. The Wi-Fi is very limited in the airport so pack up food with you or eat well before leaving! In closing, we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely pay a visit again. I want to pay a special thank you to the Playa Blanca Animation and M.C Nemo team for making my girlfriends birthday very special that night by singing Happy Birthday and getting her to lead the dance. You all are amazing and the shows were very entertaining! We looked forward to them every night and in the future! Special thanks to Chef Elvis at the Teppanyaki restaurant and the waitress that night for making the evening incredibly special. Your skills and hospitality were wonderful. Special thank you also to O'nelia from our Panama City tour & Ramone our taxi driver who are both very knowledgeable and humble. Maria who made our reservation for the restaurants and Esteban who helped show us around. Everyone we came into contact with was fantastic, from our bartenders to gardeners or cleaning staff.

Trixie, the host was welcoming us very nicely at 21:00 even though I messed up the arrival date at booking. She was coming over from a neighboring house just for us. Pros: - internet really fast for Panama standards - breakfast is richer than in many hotels - very attentive staff Cons: - Beach is not so nice. But Playa la hermita is very romantic and totally lonely even Sundays. Around 20min by car. Thank you Trixie for the great stay. Hope to see you again.
