Il Borgo di Vescine is an enchanting medieval village located in the heart of Chianti Classico perched on a hill that offers magnificent glimpses of valleys, heroic vineyards and the pearl of Chianti: Radda. The Borgo dates back to the 12th century and when a place has a soul it remains alive forever. The soul of the Borgo is almost tangible in its alleys of timeless beauty, in the squares that have hosted the farmers' festivals for centuries, among its vineyards and centuries-old olive groves guarded by dry stone walls, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. More than a luxury relais, the Borgo di Vescine is a destination. The rooms - all unique, finely furnished and equipped with independent external terraces and patios - overlook the green Chianti hills where the gaze is lost among vineyards and other small villages. Vescine is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and hectares of woods that offer the possibility of finding enchanting private corners where you can spend moments of true relaxation and taste the wines of our wine shop. La Terrazza restaurant is the realm of Chef who offers dishes of the highest cuisine starting from his Tuscan tradition, using the essences and vegetables grown in the Borgo's vegetable garden and the best selection of her Majesty the Chianina. The centuries-old olive grove, the light of candles and the starry sky will make your dinners unforgettable experiences. For those who prefer embers and grills, the Nuvolari - our enoteca on the Chiantigiana - is an unmissable spot. Stefano, Walter and Elena will welcome you in the Borgo and are at your disposal to organize your stay with you. The estate is in a perfect position for wandering around Chianti, close to Siena (20km) and Florence (40Km). The whole area is covered by Wi-Fi and the structure is equipped with every comfort.
Wow. We had a rough start to our vacation due to an airline losing our luggage. The staff here absolutely went above and beyond to help us retrieve it. They were extremely helpful and empathetic, they bridged the language gap and helped us retrieve our belongings all the while making sure our stay was perfect. In fact, we walked to the near by town of Radda (also gorgeous and welcoming) to purchase some toiletries, and on our way back or host saw us on the road and gave us a ride in his personal vehicle. Their personal touch and welcoming nature was truly a delight. The views from this hotel alone are enough to make me want to never leave, but the food and wine deserve honorable mentions as well. Every wine I tasted here was absolutely amazing, and they offered complementary finger foods such as home grown olives, truffle chips, and other snacks to accompany them. The pool over looks the rolling hills decorated with olive groves and vineyards. Everywhere I looked was immaculate. The restaurant serves special dinners a few times a week and we were fortunate enough to attend two. The first night was in the olive grove that was a private and intimate experience, the second night was in traditional Tuscan court yard that featured pork cooked in a 500 year old wood oven. The sights, tastes, experiences, and welcomeness make this place a must for a travel itinerary to Italy. If I could give this place 12 stars I would!

The hotel is just magnificent and beautiful. The staff is welcoming and nice and they do everything they can to make your stay as good as it can be. The breakfast concept is a bit weird (you need to let the hotel know what breakfast you want for the day after) but the breakfast itself is nice. We recommend the hotel!

Stayed 5 nights at this location, upgraded to a wonderful suite, Staff was efficient and helpful, especially so with Davide. A bit of an adventure finding reception, there are three properties of the same name within a few meters, but we were finally able to find the right one. If a good wi fi connection is not a priority for you, upgrade the rating to 4, otherwise, be prepared for spotty connectivity and signal once connected. And last, if you want coffee, bring your own. No in room coffee service. Parking is free just outside the ZTL

Halfway between Siena and Florence, a breath-taking view on Tuscan hills, a particular shade of light in every season. Our vineyards embrace the ancient villa, with 7 rooms, each one different from the next, but all with modern comforts. Wine tastings are led by our certified sommeliers. Check out hours and facilities on our website. Here the details make a difference.
My husband and I spent four nights at Tenuta Cortedomina in late May and we didn’t want to leave! The family who owns and operates this beautiful inn and winery lovingly restored this estate to provide all of the modern amenities while preserving the property’s historic features. The estate is centrally located and surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside. We stayed in the Pompeii Suite, which features a large, private patio complete with sun loungers, a dining table, and an outdoor soaker tub. The kind and attentive staff served us breakfast on our patio each morning. We also ate dinner at Tenuta Cortedomina one evening - the seven-course chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings was spectacular! Finally, the owner’s daughter, Micol, who we saw every day of our stay, is nothing short of amazing. She is genuinely kind, hard-working, and takes great pride in her family’s business. We hope you did well on your sommelier exam, Micol! Our stay at Tenuta Cortedomina was truly wonderful in every way - we look forward to coming again (and staying longer next time)!

Hotel San Niccolo is the right place to be ravished by Tuscany charm: precious materials, authentic frescoes merged in a magic atmosphere to offer you an unforgettable experience, full of comfort and top quality services.
If you read TripAdvisor or Hotels.com is says they got an indoor and an outdoor pool. They got but you got to book both and the outdoor pool is 5 km away! And you can book it for 1,5 hours. Not what you expect when the first picture is of the pool! The staff is absolutely not helpful.

I've had the best time spending the weekend at this family run countryside hotel in a silent landscape, high in the Chianti hills. The strategic location and family atmosphere definitely contributed to making our Tuscan adventure easy and even more authentic. The infinity pool overlooking the rolling hills, was a huge bonus to the whole experience! Not gonna lie, I was looking forward to coming back from day trips to just sit in the pool with a glass of spritz and take in the sun set. Thank you Teresa and Leonardo for a warm welcome and an unforgettable holiday!

Radda in Chianti is a beautiful area near Sienna. The room was perfect for our short stay. Overlooking a vineyard and the Tuscany mountains, the property was perfect. Breakfast was great. However, we did find a few things lacking. 1. Access to a fridge to keep water cool. They lock the kitchen so no access. 2. Perhaps it might be a cultural issue, but we found the lack of friendly customer service compared to other places we stayed during our one month trip to Italy. The Village of Radda in Chianti is BEAUTIFUL! with many restaurants and shops. Highly recommend you to visit.
