Pittsburgh has been remade and reimagined. Think 24 miles of riverfront trails, beautiful parks and historic attractions. Home to 90 neighborhoods, the ‘Burgh feels authentic and unpretentious. No visit is complete without a trip to the Strip District or PNC Park, a ride up the Duquesne Incline or a stop at The Andy Warhol Museum. Architecture buffs love Pittsburgh for the amazing downtown buildings. Hollywood producers, do, too—the city has even been called the “Hollywood of the East."

This was a great hotel. The room was modern clean and updated with a great shower head. There was a free light dinner with 3 drinks for $3 which was great for me as a business traveler wanting to get something quickly and rest fir the next day. The bed was comfortable. The price was great and it is within walking distance of the convention center which is where I was going.

Cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms were amazing and shower was huge. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. They give drink tickets for their happy hour. 1 free drink and then 2 drinks for $1 each and they also have a dinner buffet for free. Bartender was cool and food was good. Workout room is huge and the perfect temp. I left my wallet at the hotel by accident and Tracy called me and said she would overnight it to me that night. The employees went above and beyond to make their guests happy. Tracy even called me back later with a tracking number. I cannot express my gratitude for the staff there. I’ll be a customer of this hotel and hotel chain for life!

When we arrived we were notified that the room we reserved through the Hyatt app was not available. We needed two beds. So they let us know they would get one ready quickly. The room was disgusting. Carpets were stained and wet. Bathtub trim moldy, old feces or other bodily fluids around toilet walls. The employees at the front desk were very pleasant though. We really enjoyed their company. The location of the hotel is nice too. We had electric scooters with us and really enjoyed riding everywhere. There’s also electric scooters and bikes you can rent.

Wanted to charge us $50 per room to check in one hiur early 3. Pillows were not luxury, just foam 4. The sheets were not fitted so they came loose 5. There was NO USB plug in the rooms! 6. The TV cable was shotty and low def 7. You have to pay for wifi

I called the hotel while we were on the way to say we'd be arriving late to make sure they'd hold the room. The woman who answered and who checked us in around 10pm was probably the most unfriendly hotel employee I've encountered. She acted like she hated customers and her job, like every question was stupid and not deserving an answer. The breakfast staff also seemed unhappy to be there. I was disappointed to find out that the shuttle would only run until 2pm on our first day - that walk back from Phipps was long after a long day. The shuttle drivers were considerably nicer. The breakfast was pretty good, with waffles, eggs, meat, yogurt, etc. The fitness room had a few pieces of equipment, which was adequate since I just needed a place for morning stretching. I was surprised there were no drawers in the room, so we set our suitcases on top of the rolling ottomans, which worked well. The bed and room were reasonably comfortable. For proximity to the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon, breakfast, and shuttle service, this was a good value.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The layout was so conducive to spending quality family time with multiple seating areas and a game room. The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever had. We highly recommend this hotel and cant wait to return.

Our Monks' Bar is open daily, and you can enjoy a cool drink in our cozy sitting room (with a wood burning fireplace), or out in our garden courtyard.
Everything about my stay from check-in to check-out was fantastic - the hotel is charming and one-of-kind. However, do not make the same mistake I did in terms of parking. First night there I parked on Pressley St and had no issues aside for some people asking me for money when I was carrying my luggage to the hotel. Second day, I couldn’t find a spot on Pressley, so I parked on Avery St - turns out this is permit parking only, so I received a $45 ticket, additionally I must have bumped my key fob and left my car unlocked because the next morning I arrived to my car door open, and my vehicle completely ransacked. Fortunately they did not do any physical damage, but they took everything of value from my car. So please - don’t do what I did. There’s a parking lot you can pay for that will be far cheaper in the long run.

The hotel is located right at Point Park which is amazing. The hotel itself could use some updating. The hallways are a bit musty smelling. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to market square.

I’ve stayed at multiple Choice branded hotels and they range from excellent to never again. Room needs to be updated. Area didn't feel particularly safe. Breakfast was subpar. We’re heading back to Pittsburgh and definitely not staying here.
