Marulivo Hotel is a journey to a timeless place, the perfect place where to escape in order to find peace and the often forgotten sense of things. There are superb sea views from high terraces at this 11-room, converted monastery in the small medieval town of Pisciotta, on the Cilento coast. Every room, with all comforts and a breathtaking view, is unique and with a story to tell. Here the stones, the terracotta, the antique woodwork and the sea blend into pure architectural poetry. Marulivo Hotel is affiliated with the charming apartments of Casa Pixos and Petra Cottage,XVII Century's houses.
Excellent boutique hotel with a fantastic roof terrace. The owner couple, Lea and Massimo plus the whole team always were very supportive and attentive. The breakfast buffet was varied and everything was fresh from the region. A nice place to stay for at least three to four days.

The holiday village Baia del Silenzio is located in Caprioli town, a few miles from Capo Palinuro Cilento National Park. Nestled in a beautiful natural setting, lighted by Crystal reflections and colours of lush vegetation and lush greenery the Resort Baia del Silenzio is located directly by the sea in one of the most beautiful bays of the coast of the Cilento National Park.
AVOID AS A FOREIGN TOURIST! The worst lodging experience we had in our whole trip in Italy. Their whole staff does NOT speak English (except a waiter) and are unqualified for foreign tourists. They even get aggressive when someone doesn't understand their instructions. They developed an App, which is only in Italian and no chance of changing language. They don't care nor apply any COVID protocols, we were never checked our Green Pass nor even got our temperature checked. The swimming pool is super crowded with kids and people who do not respect social distancing nor the swimming pool reservations. Except for the swimming pool area, the infrastructure is old and outdated. The activities are few and boring, they take place only in Italian, with only one show per night (ex. Kids Dance) followed by cheap animation by the same staff. The food is very low quality, with cheap whine (obtained from the juice dispenser), not even the breakfast is appropriate. We stayed one night and asked a full refund, which they refused to give until we warned them that we will call our lawyer. Each night costs more than 170€ plus made up beach taxes. This is extremely overpriced and completely not worth it given the above-mentioned problems.

Tramonti d’Oro is a wonderful place! I came across it by chance and am so glad I did. Communication with Lorenzo was great from my first initial inquiry. He and his mother, Anna Maria, we’re accommodating in every way possible. They go out of their way to ensure their guests feel at home and enjoy themselves. This B&B is a labor of love and has been beautifully restored by the family. There has been much attention to detail in the restoration. Our room (Giglio) was well-designed, clean, included AC and a refrigerator (which you don’t always find in hotel rooms in Italy!). Breakfast was plentiful and included homemade options. The location is great! A short walk (or drive) to the beach. Gorgeous views from the patio / breakfast area (and our room!). The only complaint we have is that our stay was too short. We would gladly stay here again and again and highly recommend it to other travelers! Grazie mille Anna Maria e Lorenzo, dal cuore, per un bel soggiorno! Speriamo di tornare presto! Con affetto, Tim e Melanie!

Pisciotta is one of Italy's hidden gems and Santo Mercurio is one of the best places to stay. It was absolutely a delight to engage with the family and staff of Santo Mercurio. The efforts to make our stay wonderful was done in every way. The restaurant adjacent to the B&B is run by the family and serves local gourmet focused on the 'slow food' movement of traditional and local preservation. We are vegan and the proprietors and staff went way beyond to accommodate us for dinners and breakfast in the most extraordinary way. Thank you Vito and family and of course Manuela and the rest of the staff for a magical time with food, scenery and a boatload of passion!!!

In the heart of the national park of Cilento, a few kilometers from Palinuro, the multi-site hotel, “La Casa sul Blu”, offers multiple locations in the medieval village of Pisciotta, a World Heritage site of UNESCO. A spectacular seaside location surrounded by forests filled with century old olive trees, Pisciotta is an ideal destination for beach and hiking enthusiasts. The beach is about a 5 kilometer drive from the hotel, or a 20 minute walk through a scenic trail. La Casa sul Blue offers apartments, 2, 3 and 4 person rooms which overlook gardens, olive groves, and the Cape of Palinuro, some of them equipped with air conditioning, kitchenettes, and TV. The choice is up to you: the majestic and extraordinary location of Palazzetto Saulle, a seaside castle with exposed beams and a collection of items from our private historic museum whith an olive press that dates back to 1707, our best view location on Via Praiano, or in the total green of the apartment Casa della Stella.
The hotel was hard to find but very interesting once found. Lovely use of the building that has been thoughtfully used. The gardens are beautiful with oranges and lemons ready to pick. Owner really kind and local restaurant fantastic,

the company was born out of nineteen hectares of land mostly ultra ancient olive groves between the Medieval villages of Rodio and Pisciotta. It consists of three structures that dominate the hillside above Pisciotta and in front of the spectacular scenery of nature between the countryside and the sea where the view is lost among the coves of Ascea and the promontory of Capo Palinuro. The first structures hosting the restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the sea and olive trees and four bedrooms, the other two facilities located in the estate are home to five apartments with private garden and parking. All rooms have bathroom and are air-conditioned. The food is typical Cilento, raw materials, preserves, olive oil, cured meats and cheeses are directly produced by the farm and from local farms, pasta and desserts are homemade and typical. The restaurant is open to guests who can choose from bed and breakfast or half board and is also open for external but only on reservation due to the nature of food.
If you want some peace and quiet away from tourist hot spots and to experience excellent home grown food, local wines and honest hospitality, this is the place. Ideal if you want to go hiking in the Cliento National Park, we just enjoyed the view of infinity from the hilltop location and did a few walks around the medieval town of Pisciotta and beach resorts of Palinuro and Pisciotta Marina. We were welcomed by Sabrina whose good English made up for our lack of Italian and owner Roberto's lack of English - Google translate saved the day when discussing the delicious dinners on offer here at a very reasonable price. Steep driveway but the view is worth it.
