Recently restructured, with all comforts, the Grand Hotel Certosa offers the best to its clients from the typical, regional, national dishes, to the 28 rooms and 2 suites furnished in a sober and elegant way, endowed with: bathroom, air conditioning, colour tv, internet, minibar, direct telephone, car parking. Besides that, also the pool, the reading and Tv room, the breakfasts room from the main floor, an elegant conference room, a restaurant and a fantastic view, gives to the Grand Hotel Certosa the possibility to welcome the guests in the best of the ways.
I stayed at Hotel Certosa for 4 nights while attending a conference. It was a lovely, peaceful place. My balcony overlooked a field and I would wake up to the sound of sheep and the bells around their necks! There was a wedding on the Saturday night which was quite the party, but the noise did not bother me. The hotel does not have an elevator, so it was a good workout getting to my room on the 3rd floor-an excuse to have more yummy food! Buon Viaggio, Cristina

I am way way overdue to write a review of the Hotel Villa Consilinum in Padula, from which town my Nonno Giovanni immigrated to New York City many years ago. I spent a week at the hotel in late June 2019 (pre-COVID when travel was more easily accomplished) while in Padula for an "Ancestors Tour" with the Museo del Cognome. The hotel is in a fantastic location in the historic centro of the comune, the decor is charming, the breakfasts in the dining room each morning were wonderful, the staff very friendly and accommodating, and for someone who feels the heat easily, the well-functioning air-conditioning was a blessing. And the price was a complete bargain. For a week at this very pleasant hotel, I spent as much as I spent for only two nights in Rome. I felt very welcomed and the hotel contributed to what was a very moving and magical week. Bravi tutti! e grazie mille. Please note that my stay was pre-COVID-19, so I cannot comment on how the hotel is doing cleaning and social distancing currently. All I can say is that as soon as it's safe to travel again, I very much want to come back to Padula and the Villa Consilinum is where I will want to stay.

We are located behind the monument of Saint Bruno, which is called the Three Saints, is the gateway to access the Viale Certosa di San Lorenzo in Padula. It has special housing built during the renovation of the old farmhouse and stone barn and uses a warm family welcome and comfortable hospitality. The company surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees, offers the chance to walk in the woods of walnut or relax in the shade of oak trees and offers rooms and apartments, restaurant.
This family-run Agriturismo was a wonderful discovery!Few months ago I was in the B&B owned from Francesco´s sister and the experience was wonderful, this time when i came back to see my family we went to Francesco for a "Family meet-up lunch". We had a really really wonderful lunch with local specialties and very good food for both quality and way of cooking. My origins are from this town and it was absolutely like eating my grandmother´s food!!! A part from this, Francesco is a very nice person and he absolutely made us feeling like at our own home. If you stop in Padula to visit the beautiful "Certosa"....you can not leave without stopping at the "Tre Santi"!I reccomend to try at least one of the home-made salty marmalade (we tried the peppers, the orange and nuts, the green tomatoes ones...and they were all amazing) and at least one kind of pasta ... All ingredients are fresh, almost everything is home made...and last but not least...the prices are really honest and good!!!!!
