We have stayed at this hotel since it opened and have always had a wonderful experience. The staff is amazing! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool, gym and breakfast areas are always well maintained. This is our favorite hotel in Batesville.

This is truly the hotel from hell; be sure to read it all. I rented a room for six days. The first room that I was in, 320, had a light out, but it wasn't the bulb, it was the socket. This was tolerable, I was not expecting the Taj Mahal for $89. Then the toilet stopped up, overflowed and ran into the room. (That is when I tried to call the office and found out the phone did not work) I had been getting ready to get into the shower when this happened and was flushing nothing but urine. So dressed and went down to the office, but no one was there, (approx 9 AM) I called the number on the door, and the owner showed up a few minutes later and we went to the room. A shower was out of the question now. I started packing up my considerable amount of luggage, thinking I would go to another room, but the owner insisted he could have it all cleaned up by 5PM. I posited that the carpet would still be wet and would remain so, but he insisted that he could have it dry, so I put all my stuff in my truck and left sans shower or morning constitutional. I returned about six, the room looked clean, but as I expected when you stepped on the carpet, it squished up water, so unless I was going to wear shoes the whole night it was untenable. The owner moved me to room 315; it seemed ok, the lights and phone worked so I took it as an upgrade. However, the first shower I took showed me that the tub did not drain worth a darn. I had to take a GI shower to allow water to drain out and then turn the shower back on. I only had to do this a few times to get through the shower, so it was tolerable, though very annoying that I had lost the use of the room for day, which I had paid for. From check in to the end I always dealt with the owner, who seemed like a nice guy, and I had seen him playing outside with his kids so I had a warm feeling for him and had determined that I would not leave a review, since I could not say something nice. But something happened this afternoon which made me think it my duty to warn others of this place. When I first checked in I told the owner that there was no need to service my room, and that if I needed anything, I would come to the office for it. Consequently when I left the room I left all my stuff out and about. When I returned he had been in my room and made up my bed and both of my checkbooks were laying on the bed. Nothing missing, (that I had discovered) but I did not like the idea of him handling my checkbooks. I went down to the office and told him again, that if I needed anything, I would let him know. The next time I went out, I placed a do not disturb sign on my door. However subsequent events showed me that this was of no use, and I have no idea how many times he was in my room. This afternoon I stayed in my room, playing video games with my son. The do not disturb was on the door, when suddenly someone tried to come in but the security lock checked the door and it was closed. I jumped up, and went out in my underwear, to find that it was the owner. He and his cart had moved to the next door, and when I approached him he said that he was checking to see if I needed anything, never mind that I had twice told him that I would come down to office if I did. He mumbled "there was no sign" pointing at the door handle and referring to a do not disturb sign. Clearly when he recognized that I was there, quick as a flash, as though he had done this many times before, removed the do not disturb sign, so that he could make the claim that there was not one there. The sign was not on the ground, wasn't in the bushes etc.. clearly he had removed it and put it in his cart. I don't know if he is a thief, or just incredibly nosy, and I don't much care which, there is no excuse for this despicable behavior. However, as far as I can see there is no crime in what he did in this case; what might have been had I not been there, I leave to your conjecture.

We are in the process of converting our pool to a paved cook out area with grills, build a recreation room with a kitchenette, entertainment center, pool table and some games.
We were tired from driving almost 1200 miles and chose Hardy, AR as our stop. The town's motels were operating with closed lobbys, so check in involved standing outside waiting for the clerk to get the information all in the computer and take my credit card. This took approximately 20 minutes and was $10 higher than the advertised price---before taxes. I requested a non-smoking room. The first room we were let into smelled like smoke terribly and I immediatetly called the office to get moved. She moved us to another room, and it was better but it still had a stale smoke smell. The place hasnt been updated in years and it is dirty and stinks. The beds were ok, slept fine. I would not recommend.

Upscale suites and vacation rental apartments offer a restful escape from your busy life or an active time spent seeing & doing. The choice is yours! Located in rolling eastern foothills of the Ozark Mountains, in the heart of the national commercial historic district, we can help occupy you with things to see & do here, or you can relax & enjoy what the Italians call "il dolce far niente," the sweetness of doing nothing!
A beautifully created apartment. Absolutely wonderful bathroom with such invention, the most technologically advanced bathroom you could want. The huge bed was so welcoming and comfortable, and three tvs all in well appointed spots. For me the fly in the ointment was that there was no tea, and you had to take water from the bathroom, there's nowhere to get fresh water. I wonder if you could put a notice to say it's potable, ie drinking quality, water (generally bathroom water isn't), or a drum of water to make tea / coffee would work otherwise. I'm not a coffee drinker and I love a cup of tea, with milk, and for accommodation of this quality, I'd taken for granted that it would be there. And there was only enough milk for one cup of coffee. So that was a bit of a letdown. It would be nice too, to know that all the restaurants in the immediate area would be closed on a Sunday afternoon. There is another part of town across the river and it had restaurants open, but we had to drive. Overall this is a lovely place, but for the cost ( and there isn't breakfast of any type) it would be good to go that little extra and put necessities in the room

NEVER, EVER STAY HERE!!!!! We brought our daughter to Batesville, AR, where she was born, for a birthday party for her lifelong friends. As we arrived, we got a call that one of them tested positive for COVID-19. My daughter was devastated. As a platinum member of Choice Hotels, I decided to try to salvage the trip with a hotel stay where she could swim. So I booked a room at the Comfort Suites. Two hours after making the reservation, we arrived at the hotel to check in. At that time, I discovered the pool was closed. I also noted that the hotel was dark and uninviting (at 4 in the afternoon!), and the lobby appeared unclean. Kayla, the front desk agent, was very unfriendly. I explained our situation, and she was unwilling to even listen, much less assist. I told her I’d call her manager the next day. So, I called the Holiday Inn Express next door. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. Their service was amazing and their hotel was superior. When in Batesville, NEVER choose Comfort Suites, Holiday Inn Express is SOOOO much better. The next day I spoke with the manager, Debbie. She was extremely hostile on the phone from the moment she answered. She refused to refund my money because policy says she doesn’t have to. The pool closure was notated on an obscure section of the app, and the room rate was non-refundable. However, any decent hotelier would plainly see that I never stepped foot into the room, I was in a bind, and my 2-hours-old canceled reservation cost her absolutely nothing. Any reasonable person would have refunded the money. But Debbie Harrison is completely rude and unreasonable. Of this is how Choice Hotels allows their hotel operators to treat platinum members, my future business will go to Holiday Inn. Choice Hotels has been very slow to respond to my concerns. Comfort Suites in Batesville is a sub-standard hotel with terrible staff. I urge you to look elsewhere for your lodging needs.

The Cobblestone is about 2 years old it is better than the other two hotels, however, the room was overpriced. Front desk was very friendly, the window unit (air condition )was loud. The pool was out of order. The room was very clean. Breakfast was ok, it would help to have larger trash can in the eating area, trash was everywhere. I will stay again if I had to.

We made the mistake of staying at the Riverview Motel last night. Around 11pm the mice came out. One was in my bed around 2am. If my toddler wasn’t with us we would have left immediately. We used to come here every summer 15 years ago and never had any problems but it has gone down hill so bad! Mouse droppings were in the bed. I slept less than 2 hours. I’ve never been so ready to go home in my life

We were looking for a hotel to stay in due to storms in the area and losing our electricity. My husband has a c-Pap and required electricity to use it at night. Unlike the staff that I contacted by phone at the 2 nearby hotel chains that were less than helpful or welcoming, the staff was exceptionally accommodating, especially Emily. At the hotel, Ashley was also friendly and helpful. We will stay here again!

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Very accommodating. Not a ton of breakfast choices but that may be due to COVID restrictions so I can't really hold that against them. I would definitely stay here again. Great location too.
