Reviewed By Vicki BThis is a nice hotel. Our room was nice, the bed was comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. Not a complant but an observation - no hair dryer in room - but I always have one. This is a pet friendly hotel - didn't know that when I booked. Again, my mistake. We had a yappy dog next to us. Had I known I would have asked for a room away from animals. Love animals, but not when I'm trying to sleep. I should have noticed that when I booked. All in all very good.

Reviewed By Jason WAfter staying last night at Candlewood in Fort Smith, Arkansas, I selected another Candlewood for a few nights in Owosso, Oklahoma on the outskirts of Tulsa. This is another example of how you run a hotel. Check-in was brisk and super friendly. The room is exceptionally clean. This Candlewood has a large L-shaped work area suitable for working on my laptop with a comfortable chair, and as much space as you'd get in an office. The setup for extended stay is very well done. Although the hotel is no more expensive than numerous alternatives, the room amenities are spot-on with excellent appliances and an eat-in area near the kitchen. The bed and bath features are excellent, with comfortable bed/bedding and plenty of bath supplies. Internet is easily accessible and fast. The location of this Candlewood is accessible to just about anything you'd need. While the Candlewood brand itself is a nice hybrid of hotel with suitability for long term visits (kitchenettes), they appear to be consistently upholding a brand standard across their properties. Two in a row I've experienced nothing but excellence, and this speaks very well for the brand and its operators. Well done. And thank you.

3 Rooms and NO A/C
Reviewed By mrd104The young lady working the desk was very courteous and helpful. The first room I checked into the A/C was not cooling at all. The young lady came to the room and tried to help but was not able to get it cooling either and offered to get me another room. I said yes. I ended up trying 3 different rooms. All had the same issue with the A/C not cooling. I could tell by the young lady’s reaction this was a common ordeal. I ended up finding another hotel. The owner should ensure rooms are up to Hilton standards or get out of the business.

Reviewed By AlbyfliThe new construction is the main reason that these hotels are SO noisy. It is worse than living in an apartment as it seems people either don’t realize or have zero situational awareness of their heavy footed walking. The bed was comfy, they’re were enough outlets for the tech. The A/C however works off of two limits, one is motion the other is temp limits. Which means if you stop moving (sleeping) and it has not reached your temp setting, it shuts off. Makes for a sleepless night.

Reviewed By 157greysonrThis is a more compact facility. All parking is in the front and on the side. An indoor pool. The facility is more suited to the Business/Job Related traveler. Two queen beds, micro wave, mini refrigerator, desk, bureau, easy chair, ottoman, and night stand. The furniture combined has a total of four drawers. The bath is the usual 5X8 configuration, leaving more available space in the room easier parking for the scooter. The bath is very clean, plenty of towels and floor mat. The issue we had is the diverter in the shower, it is in the spigot and has to be pulled down to force the water through the shower head. The accessory appliances clock, tv, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board are all present. The beds are both very comfortable, but at 30 inches my wife had a hard time getting into the bed without a stool to step on. The breakfast COVID protocols, are observed here as well. Still there is plenty to eat and drink as it is continuously replenished. The waffles are round, with a single choice of plain batter. The two night stay ran $181.18. Again I tried to use the Choice App to book the room, but had to call in to make the reservation. Good thing though, the reservation center was going to charge me ten dollars more a night base rate until I brought up the price quoted in the app and the price was matched. I had to put up my credit card to cover a non refundable cost of the room. The App will get a full review of it’s own, later. Over all the stay is a good value. I give them a 7.5 out of 10. Drawback is that one ice machine on the first floor. There is plumbing and signage for one on the second floor, but no device.

Reviewed By Ben HThey downgraded my room because they said mine wasnt clean. I am staying a week, so I asked if I could check into the room I booked the next day after they cleaned it. I was told they werent sure if or when the room i had booked would be cleaned. They said they didnt know the cleaning schedule...not sure whybthey couldnt add my room to the schedule.....This was after I waited in the lobby for so long for someone to check me in I finally had to call their number and ask them to come out front. This was at 7 pm. I will go elsewhere in the future.
