We are the first hotel in town with more than 48 years, we are located in downtown Coca next to the central park and 3 blocks away from the river walk. We have diferent types of accomodations from our wood cabins to standard rooms, all of them with all the services you expect to find in a modern hotel. Our biggest asset is our inside garden wich will be your first contact with the rainforest... come and enjoy staying in a different enviroment!
This was by far the worst hotel of the 10 or so I have stayed at in Ecuador. The building needs to be refurbished. Don’t get a room at the front of the hotel. Very noisy and the AC did not work. We switched to the back where the AC worked, but there was no hot water during the day. The hotel did not provide drinking water. Everything looked sad and grubby. On the plus side, the staff were all very nice ? Coca is experiencing an oil boom. The hotel was full of oil workers when we visited. Definitely not good value for money. We were told this is the best hotel in town. I recommend that you skip Coca altogether. You won’t miss much. It is not necessary to stay there before or after an Amazon lodge trip. Work with the lodge to ensure they coordinate your flights.

Although the location is nothing very special in the unattractive center of Coca, Hotel Coca Imperial provides for a convenient price giant rooms with air conditioning and a table to work, added to a working WiFi connexion. Separate bathroom, large bed, an ideal place to unpack all your baggage and check you have all you need before starting a trek - and shops nearby allow you to complete with machete, lamps and boots... No restaurant in the hotel but there are many around.

Our first choice of hotel for Coca became quite confusing and I ended up getting radio silence from them, so decided to book here instead. It had no reviews on any sites I could find, so we were a bit concerned about what we would find, so I thought I'd make a priority of leaving a review in case anyone else finds themselves in the same situation. This was a really nice little hotel alongside the park. It has free wifi, the beds were really comfortable and the staff were really helpful, despite our awful attempts at communicating what we needed in Spanish. Really good value room, and the location is perfect for exploring Coca, which I would highly recommend, despite what the guidebooks might say. It was a lovely town full of character. :)

An amazing lodge in amazon rainforest, with 6 rooms where our passengers enjoy in single, double & familiar cabins. The Lodge provides the comfort of spacious cabins with private bathrooms, to enjoy the views of the beautiful natural gardens an the rainforest. Every room & our Lodge are equipped with electricity (24h), water, bar, restaurant & activities.
What a great place to visit in the Amazone! We visited for 3 nights and felt that we were truly part of the Amazon life. It was just the two of us and we were so well taken care of. The food prepared by Diego and Diana was fabulous every day and the guides (Spanish & English) really took the time to show us all the Amazon has to offer. We walked around in the local community without it being touristic, we visited wonderful wildlife places and they made sure we were well taken care of all the way from arrival to departure. My only suggestion would be to have a place for relaxation for the hours in between excursions. As the place was still being constructed, there was nowhere to sit to chill or relax, except for the bed. The rest was wonderful, thanks for showing us around!

The Amazon Dolphin Lodge is located in the Panacocha protected forest reserve, (56,000 has) and is central to a biological corridor linking Yasuni National Park and the Cuyabeno Wildlife Refuge.Panacocha is classified as a Humid Tropical Forest. Wildlife is in abundance everywhere in the reserve. A short list of possible observations includes: Howler, Squirl, Capuchin and night monkeys along with the Black-mantled Tamarin and Pigmy Marmosets, and of course the Amazon Pink River Dolphin. Thanks to our central location in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon, our professional local guides, our multilingual staff, and our motivation we offer a hands-on experience of the jungle. We are able to achieve a wide range of possibilities to explore the plants, animals and cultural diversity of the area and provide the adventure that, without a doubt, you have been looking for.Amazon Dolphin Lodge is a member of YUTURI CONSERVATION GROUP, an organization involved in rainforest conservation projects helped by San Carlos Foundation.
We had an amazing time at the Amazon Dolphin Lodge. After the 5 hour boat ride deep into the jungle we arrived at a BEAUTIFUL lodge deep in the jungle. We had power for a few hours a day, no wifi, no connection to the world. It was amazing. The food was great and Libio did a great job of teaching us the ways of the amazon. We saw monkeys, sloths, snakes, and LOTS of birds. The rooms were clean and staff was all extremely welcoming and helpful. I cannot wait to go back! Defintely bring chacos or tevas, bug spray and lightweight long sleeve and long pants to avoid the bugs and sun!

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the Deluxe Container rooms. From there you have an amazing view from your bed through a large window at the beautiful garden, ponds and pool area. The rooms are spacious with air-condition and a private bath and hot shower. The pool is great to swim in and there are plenty of birds visiting the property. The absolute highlight was a visit from a large group of squirrel monkeys, which you can observe from close up. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was delicious with lots of fresh juice, again sitting outdoors and watching the birds. The hosts are lovely and were super helpful with any question we had. It is a great spot as base for all the cascades and caves in the Loreto area or just relax for a couple days. Highly recommended

Ayanasha was conceived with the aim of disconnecting us from the world and reconnecting us with the planet. At Ayanasha, reconnect with your inner self. Live an integral experience, reunite with nature while touring through more than 100 hectares of the jungle.
My wife and I stayed there for a couple of days. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. The journey across the river, the small walk up the hill through the rainforest to Ayanasha and then the lodge overseeing the Rio Napo - it was breathtaking! Very nice room (in cabaña), great food and an athmosphere, so outstanding that it is hard to describe. If you love real nature coupled with a very comfortable lodge then spend a few days there - it really is wonderful!
