Reviewed By marqoos_plLOCATION & ATTRACTIONS NEARBY *** B&B Hotel Nowy Targ Centrum (when I was there last time it was still Casa Hotel Nowy Targ) is located in the centre of Nowy Targ. Close to the railways station and also all commercial/shopping areas of Nowy Targ. It’s conveniently located on the way to Zakopane. As this is one of the tallest buildings in town, it provide with nice views over the town, Tatra Mountains (especially from the top floors, restaurant/balcony) and Babia Gora mountain on the other side (this was the view I had this time). Some administrative offices and few churches are nearby. NT is a small place anyway, so you can reach almost everything on foot. HOTEL OVERVIEW *** This is a nice, basic, but modern hotel. I’m getting lost with all the name changes as this is 3rd name change since they opened. It use to be Campanille, then Casa and now something else (Campanille towels are still in use). Still, good hotel for a reasonable price and comfortable, clean rooms. I like the style and prefer more than local B&Bs (ironically this is the name now - B&B Hotel Nowy Targ Centrum). There’s a busy supermarket on the level 0 – it’s actually below the hotel. I somehow managed to get there as signs were very confusing. Parking is in front of the hotel and also under the building. PURPOSE OF THIS TRIP *** Leisure RESERVATION *** Through ebookers.ie (expedia) as they offered the best pre-paid rate with breakfast. LENGTH OF MY STAY *** 1 night – Sep 2019 CHECK-IN *** Check-in was quick and hassle-free. No issue with the single-use credit card provided by the OTA. My room was allocated on a higher floor, as requested. LOBBY & RECEPTION *** Modern, young and colourful. Looks pretty cool. ROOM *** #705 – 1 Double bed room – standard on the 6th floor and the view facing Gorce & Beskid Wyspowy mountains. The sunset was pretty cool. Room was fresh, clean, modern with nice colours. The same scheme as this was when the Campanille run this property. Room was basic, but very comfortable. I was surprised (for the 2nd time) that I really enjoyed my stay there and even the size of the room (nothing special) was more than enough. Good, light and fresh environment. There's also coffee/tea making kit and complimentary 2 bottles of water. BATHROOM *** Also spotless clean and fresh. Modern design with some eco-friendly addons… like all body/shampoo dispenser which is great, but only when it’s refilled. I unfortunately had to experience it when after all day got there, started showering and… NOTHING. That was quite annoying especially that I had absolutely no other shower gel/soap. I get dressed and went to reception to ask if they had anything (not the best time on Sunday late evening), but they did not have any single-use toiletries. As I desperately needed it (and it was late already) I asked, if I could take it from another room (I suggested in a cup), and luckily this was agreed. I think the girl at reception didn’t even know that they had this type of dispensers. Yeah, I managed to get a half cup of the shower gel and this saved me. Imagine how annoyed I was when I realized that the same cleansing liquid is in the second dispenser near the sink… Aaaaaaaa. Anyway, keep them refilled otherwise guest will annoy you at late hours like I did. BREAKFAST *** It was served in the restaurant on top of the building. There was some small conference group, so they’re sitting together, all other guests had the entire restaurant for them. The selection was very good, from warm meals (eggs, sausages), cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurts, cereals etc. Also cold and hot drinks. Very tasty and good selection. Definitely worth paying extra for it (can be done locally as well). From the terrace, you have a fantastic view of the town and Tatra Mountains a bit farther. INTERNET ACCESS *** Complimentary Wi-Fi and I got connected automatically from my last visit. CHECK-OUT EXPERIENCE *** Quick and efficient. STAFF *** Helpful, but I definitely recommend rooms visit to get familiar with them ?. OVERVIEW *** Despite small issues, I was still happy with my stay. This is a good, hassle-free (normally) accommodation in the area. I would stay there again if they keep the price level (as I don’t think this is any higher category than advertised). Good, strong 3,5* express hotel.

Paper thin walls - poor locks on doors - they allow large groups
Reviewed By lizgibsonStayed here for the weekend and it had good bits but mainly bad. Good bits - balcony - great views - restaurant food was nice. Bad bits - they let a group of 20+ MMA fans stay here together and they were incredibly drunk and loud - to the point that they forced there way into other guests rooms. They were going around scaring people and thought it was funny. But the staff carried on serving them at the bar. The walls and door are incredibly thin so you can hear EVERYTHING from the surrounding rooms. You will not get a good nights sleep here.

Great Hotel, very good value for money
Reviewed By Libor NWe spent last weekend in Nowy Targ. For our sleep over we chose the Skalny Dworek Hotel. HOtel and surrouding area of the hotel is really beautiful, there are used natural materials all aroud - the hotel and restaurant built form solid wood, all the floor and pavement around the hotel as well as in the restaurat Krzcma Hanka are from natural stone, everywhere there is presented a beautiful blacksmith's work. Reception staff very helpfull with very positive "can do" attitude, lobby area clean and tidy, as well as the spacious room and the hotel corridors. Restaurant staff also very nice and helpfull, restaurant itselves present very cozy atmosphere though being quite large. Unfortunately, during our stay the restaurant was booked for some celebration of local people, what brought for entire hotel guests some unpleasant restrictions. However, we got quite tasty beer and Zubrowka spirit on the terrace adjacent to the restaurant.

Pensjonat oddalony kilka kilka kilometrów od centrum miasta i restauracji, Serwowane są tylko śniadania - całkiem dobre. Pokoje o podstawowym standardzie, bez kosmetyków, wody mineralnej, czajnika. Pokoje schludne, lecz łóżka bardzo twarde. Obsługa bardzo miła.

Food at the restaurant was very delicious (do try the duck in the main course menu). Only thing to point out, the bed was a little hard. But manageable. Spa is paid on a per day basis. Check rates whilst check- in. Overall an excellent stay. Highly recommended to stay here, if in the region

Reviewed By endrju_74We stayed in Nad Przełomem for one night at the beginning of june 2019. As the hotel - possibly the only such place in this part of Pieniny mountains - was ful, we were offered a stay not in the main building, but in house-like building just over the road, with pizza place at the front, not marked in any way that it is a part of Nad Przełomem. Entrance to accommodation part through the back door, but then the staircase to bedrooms is also used by pizza place guests as a link to toilets, so guests of both places would've mixed together despite efforts. Room was quite large and quiet, considering the food place downstairs. Wifi really weak. Breakfast served in main hotel building, in the restaurant, which becomes very busy during the breakfast times, luckily we had very nice weather during our stay, so outdoor seats became very popular, mainly due to the restaurant being very very hot, with no aircon (or at least it didn't work). Never had a chance to try their leisure part, with swimming pool, maybe next time. Possibly best place to stay for miles.

I ten szum wody... Jednym słowem coś pięknego :)Właściciel bardzo miły i uprzejmy, nie zostaje nic innego jak tylko polecić :)

Reviewed By Csaba BNice place for good price. Decent breakfast, big and clean bathroom, good beds. Good to have fre parking slots. Wifi should be better, and staff should learn English or German (as everybody else in Poland...)
