Not only is the hotel located only 5 minutes walk from the beach, but it is also a genuinely homely place and great atmosphere. Rooms are exactly the right size and has all the things you need in a hotel room. Staff is very friendly and helpful. So, all in all very high value for money ;o)

A great hotel with good facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and a very nice room. The facilities, food and service were all excellent. I have stayed in other Van Der Valk hotels and they all have very high standards. Highly recommended.

This hotel smells amazing. I realise this is an odd thing to say at the beginning of a review, but it was my first impression when I checked in so I thought I should mention it first. It’s like a cross between a scented candle spa and a deep cleanliness. This is a delightful hotel with amazing staff, comfortable and cleverly designed rooms, and one of the finest breakfasts you will ever eat. It’s elegant without being full of itself. It’s spotlessly clean. The decor in the rooms is simple rather than extravagant but it is comfy and the rooms have balconies or large terraces. My only small criticism of my room is that the pillows on the bed are very large and artificially filled, the combination of which means it can be hard to get comfy - smaller traditional feather pillows would be better. But I also realise this is personal preference and I’m sure some people like it. The bed itself is pocket sprung and super-comfortable. The bathroom is very well appointed with very hot water and excellent water pressure available at all times. The minibar is well stocked and very good value. The breakfast is so good and it is actually different each day. I can’t remember visiting a hotel which does that, even the biggest ones. Different cold cuts, different salads (yes, salads at breakfast, get over it), different cooked accompaniments to the three types of eggs available each day. Everything so lovingly and carefully made and presented. You even get Prosecco included! I regretted not being able to go for dinner in the Emma restaurant at night when I realised the breakfast was this good but I will make amends for this when I visit again, which I absolutely will. Highly, highly recommended. (Oh and did I mention how phenomenal the breakfast is?)

Golden Tulip Noordwijk Beach Hotel, part of Two Brothers hotels, is located directly on the boulevard and has 77 modern rooms with land and sea views, 3 junior suites, 1 suite with a roof terrace and a total sea view. Rent an authentic fisherman's cottage from 1785. Two uniquely located idyllic fishermen's houses are 100 meters from the beach and boulevard! Of course you can also use all hotel facilities. With a restaurant, covered and heated terrace, an English bar with fireplace and a relaxation room with steam room and swimming pool. In short; wonderfully relax and enjoy the sea. In addition to this four-star hotel, it also has 8 multifunctional conference rooms. The meeting rooms are equipped with natural light, air conditioning and modern facilities such as wireless internet. Some meeting rooms have a beautiful view over the boulevard and the dunes. The meeting rooms are ideal for gatherings from 2 to 100 people.
When I booked my room unfortunately I selected the non refundable rate. My mistake. Trough circumstances outside my control I had to cancel and then asked the booking office and the hotel itself to cancel my reservation some 3 weeks prior to arrival. The booking office advised they could cancel at full price. They suggested to contact the hotel since it would be their final decision to cancel at full price or free of charge. They tried to connect me by phone to the hotel but there was no reply. Emails to the hotel remained unanswered. A day prior to the arrival date I managed to speak with the hotel reception, I was advised that I should have cancelled 48 hrs prior to arrival to cancel foc. I advised I did 3 weeks ago, then the receptionist said she would ask the person involved to call me back, this call never came. Since I was about to loose $300.00 for my 2 night stay I decided to go to the hotel and test once again their flexibility, but no I had to pay full price for the 2 nights I had booked. I decided to stay one night and forfeit the 2 nd at my expense. I advised the manager in charge that I found her action highly inflexible and that I would provide negative rating. While I know that I made the booking mistake, I will never forget their attitude, so I would not select Golden Tulip hotels in the future.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights to go to Keukenhof Gardens. We had the top room of the house next store. It was a lovely clean room, the only thing being the 2 flights of Dutch stairs to get up there. The website mentions it but that didn’t prepare us for hauling our luggage up what looks like something out of Alice in Wonderland. I believe the main hotel does not have that set up. That did not deter us from thoroughly enjoying our stay. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfasts were generous. If you find yourself in South Holland and you like being away from touristy areas, this is a great place to stay. Thanks.

We are due to visit this hotel at the end of April and despite multiple requests and communication the hotel will not change our arrival date (we are not asking for a refund or a voucher etc., just a date change) as it is illegal for us to travel from the UK to NL in April due to COVID-19 legal restrictions or be fined £10,000. How unkind, unprofessional and thoughtless. Be warned of their attitude to UK travellers for pleasure or business. Very disappointed and a lot of money down the drain.....

Cozy hotel near the beach with friendly and helpful staff, pleasant interior. Small room with oversized cupboard ok for 1 night. No breakfast possible before 08:00 am, not even in the room. Parking-system is awkward with only one entry ticket for all. The underground parking Azzurro is some 100m down the road. The oral affirmation that the hotel would not charge us twice for our mistaken no-show (booking wrong date) was a relief upon (belated) arrival, but was withdrawn again after we left. This was quite a surprise.

The Heeren van Noortwyck hotel is ideally located just a few steps away from the beach, the main shopping area and numerous friendly bars and restaurants. Our hotel offers 29 cosy, ambient rooms in various sizes. All rooms are equipped with a television and an en-suite bathroom with shower and/or bath and toilet. Guests can also enjoy our comfortable lounge and lovely veranda as well as the large, inviting terrace, which affords a wonderful view over the lighthouse and the bustling Vuurtorenplein (lighthouse square). Children and dogs are most welcome at our hotel!
We were truly surprised by the amazing staff of this perfectly located hotel. They truly know hospitality! Each of them were so genuinely happy and friendly. They greeted us every time proactively, received a personal welcome and explanation at the breakfast buffet, and went out of our way to accomodate our special requests as we were only here for one night to attend a wedding nearby. We got the budget room, around 12m2 but has everything you need. The staff really made our visit - loved it!

Staying at the hotel as part of a college trip I found the staff to be superb, very helpful and friendly, a couple of minor problems were sorted out smoothly. The communal areas of the hotel are well presented with a great games room and bar area, very nice to relax in in the evening. The beds and towels were changed and made up daily. Breakfast was a good variety and selection of items and the coffee machine is fantastic.
