Built in 1931, Hotel Edison is an architectural art deco masterpiece with a rich history dating back from the moment famed American inventor, Thomas Edison turned on the light at the grand opening of the hotel to playing host to countless notables, to movie and television appearances. Hotel Edison is conveniently situated in the heart of New York City's iconic Times Square, amidst the energy and excitement of the latest in Broadway Theatres, nightlife, fine dining and shopping. The hotel is within steps of Midtown Manhattan's premier business and leisure destinations - Time Warner Center, Rockefeller Center, MoMA and world renown Fifth Avenue Shops.
Unbelievable stay. The rooms were amazing since my last visit. I love the Edison Hotel I love the staff. I love the location but most of all I personally like to thank Danny O’Brien and Scott GERES for all the help making my wife’s 60th birthday the most amazing birthday ever.

Towering 42 stories over Chelsea, our hotel is two blocks from Madison Square Park and the Flatiron Building. We're about a mile from The High Line, Chelsea Market, Times Square, and Greenwich Village. Dozens of unique eateries, bars, museums, and shops are also a short walk from our doors. Or unwind with a drink and bite to eat at our bar and restaurant.
Stayed for an Anniversary celebration and was very surprised. The Motto is a hidden Gem. From the 35th floor, my room had great lighting and floor to ceiling windows with beautiful views of the entire downtown Manhattan as well as neighboring boroughs which was stunning at sunset. The vibe was modern, relaxing, and inviting. JoJo from front desk texted me when the room was ready, and Ziad was kind enough to give us a late checkout. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from 6 days here, this was my 3rd trip to NYC and this was the worst hotel I've stayed in. On arrival we were allocated a room for wheelchair access as no other rooms available, this was fine but the room was not what we expected - no iron, ironing board, kettle, wardrobe or anywhere to store luggage. The "wardrobe" is a hanging rail above the coffee machine........ On day 1 we unpacked as best we could and headed out to explore the city. Absolutely shattered we fell into bed for an early night!! Not to be as you can hear the lift pinging all night long and can hear conversations from outside the lift and room next door. Day 2 we showered, dressed and were out fro. 7am until 11pm - on our return we noted that no housekeeping had been done, too tired to enquire we just went to bed, next day I commented to reception on our way out. Day 3 no housekeeping, had to take out our own rubbish and ask for clean towels which didn't arrive. Day 4 I again asked at reception for housekeeping and towels - towels were there on our return but no housekeeping. Day 5 I phoned and asked about the rubbish being removed and was told to leave outside room and it would be lifted, unsurprisingly it was still there the next morning. Day 6 and we checked out and had not had any housekeeping at all. Bar and snacks are not available at all either despite their pictures ! I have never stayed in a hotel without housekeeping even travellodge provides clean towels and linen. Plus side is location, just off 5th near Bryant Park but there are much nicer hotels nearby for less money.

A tropical oasis in the heart of New York City, Margaritaville Resort Times Square invites you to get on island time — in world-famous Times Square. And when you’re ready for adventure, you’ll find many of the city’s most famous attractions within walking distance, including the theaters of Broadway, Central Park, and the iconic Empire State Building.
The hotel was very clean, location was perfectly central, and the staff were great (especially JC and Miguel). Only downsides were the wait for elevators and the early closure of the pool for a private party, but we would definitely stay again!

Pod Times Square is the newest member of the Pod Hotel family. Set in the crossroads of the world, we're also just blocks to tranquil Hudson River Park, the Intrepid, and Circle Line Cruises. Close to all of the action, but just far enough away — and above — the hustle and bustle so you can sleep tight and stay happy! At just one block to the 42nd Street – Port Authority subway and bus station, you’ll have quick and easy access to every neighborhood in New York City and beyond.
Any person you visit has their own set culture to their house. Hotels are no different. Pod has a way of doing things that some may not be used to, but it makes sense for the budget shopping solo traveler. I stayed in a full size Pod and loved my little area for work, sleep, and launching out from to adventure through NYC. The showers are great with plenty of hot water and in New York who wants to stay in their room anyway. Just be sure to check what the hotel offers so you aren't caught off guard. I'm not sure I'd recommend staying here with someone you're not intimate with as the showers are kind of smoky glass so it could get weird. Otherwise book away fro great location and Awesome staff. Look for tips from Vito.

Had a terrible experience. Despite being a Hilton Honors Rewards member, the experience was as if I was being treated as a "no-one"= probably the behavior and attitude of a "big city"......( read - rudeness, attitude of {do not care")... 1. Booked a car to drop us at JFK....the car did not show up. The front desk did not care. Finally had to book a Lyft to get to airport. 2. Room key card magnetization is horrible. Every other day, you have to go to front desk to ask them to re-authorize the room key. 3. The lock went bad in the room. Were locked out at 9 pm in the night till the maintenance department took one hour to manually force open the room and reinstall a new set of locks. 4. Requested "full service" every day since we were 4 person in a suite and needed fresh towels and clean room/ toilet everyday. Had to call 3 out of 5 days before they finally realized that we really needed "full service". Good Bye Hilton and welcome Marriott!!! This is the last time we try Hilton ever again as a first choice of stay.

Returned home today after a five night stay. Our hotel was in a brilliant location with broadway literally at the end of our street, so anyone wanting to see a show, the Row hotel, in my opinion would be a prime spot. Our experience regarding the hotel was very positive; some of the particularly unsavoury reviews were not what we endured at all. The staff were extremely helpful & generous with their time & clearly earn every penny in wages; they never stop & whatever they get paid, its clearly not enough for what they do. The hotel room was spacious with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable & it was spotlessly clean. Special thanks to the wonderful Delcy who kept our room beautiful & tidy & was an absolute joy to talk to. An additional thanks to the lovely George who made sure we got a taxi to the airport and assisted us with our luggage. He was also on hand to advise on good places to visit & eat locally. He is a fountain of knowledge on all things New York. The only drawback in my opinion was the £200 admin fee which I'm still confused abut & the wretched lifts which seemed to take an age. If I could offer a suggestion re the hotel, it would be to have tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms but other than that, I cannot complain. I would definitely go back to the Row, simply for the staff who were absolutely brilliant & made our stay an all together joyful experience.

I had an issue with my room and the team was so incredible. Areis was such a warm welcome to the property, Jason helped me switch rooms when I had an issue and Nikki gave me feminine products when my period came early and I was without spares late at night. Amazing people.

Perfect location, comfortable spacious rooms, awesome lobby and bar area. Updates well executed. Away from Times Square congestion and close to Central Park, Fifth Ave, Lincoln Center, Carnegie, etc. Comfy clean rooms and beds. While not cheap, it’s a bargain compared to other hotels for what you get.

I stayed here for my birthday for one night. The hotel is nice and the room was small, cute, and cozy. Everyone was very nice, especially Jamilah, the lobby host. She gave me and my friend a complimentary drink for my bday. She definitely made my stay at Arlo a positive experience. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m back in NYC!
