B&B is wonderful. Very clean and pretty decor inside. Everything you want in a B&B and so much more...we didn't want for anything...water, ice, coffee, snacks, sangria and more upon our arrival. But more than what they provided was there superb friendliness...they are so welcoming and genuinely concerned that your stay here is comfortable...it is truly refreshing to stay somewhere that you feel truly wanted. The breakfast they cook and serve was delicious and we really enjoyed the table with the griddle where we made our own pancakes with every topping you could want (try the bananas fosters, so yummy. Thank you to Angie, Carol and I'm sorry I can't remember the 3rd lady's name, you made our stay wonderful...we'll be back!

Great location and large nice comfortable rooms with great ac and coffee and refrigerator. Most rooms have NO view. Housekeeping is non existent on a 4 night stay Marriott needs to clean the rooms and we did not know- Front Desk workers do NOT ask you if you want housekeeping all they want is your CC even though i booked with my cc!! Wait for towels is ridiculous just put them out for the guests no one wants these thin overused beach towels - have some faith in your guests. Bar lacked good service and NO OUTSIDE bar service NO FOOD service in entire hotel except horrible breakfast that ends way too early for people on relaxing beach vacation - breakfast everyday was same powdered cold scrambled eggs and gross sausage and oatmeal and waffles - nothing else no change no variety HILTON has Marriott beat on breakfast!! Juice was watered down crap. The pool is surrounded by a closed gate so doesn't make for great atmosphere and is very small!!! No music or anything fun at the pool. No beach chairs or umbrellas. No happy hour. Overall a nice stay just not anything special, very quiet, but great location! Marriott keeps charging Higher and Higher prices and keeps cutting the amenities like housekeeping, no body lotions in room or anything else but shampoo/conditioner in showers. Exercise room has barely anything in it. Charge for Parking for their guests too after such high room prices this year - sign of the times GOUGE your loyal guests Marriott. By way if your a higher up Marriott member you are not even acknowledged no welcome gifts no lounge, nothing!! Sad doesn't pay to be a Marriott rewards member.

We had an Amazing stay at the Anchor Inn. Tommy and Liz were wonderful InnKeepers. The Inn feels like a home instead of a hotel room. The rooms are themed! I love a good theme! We stayed 2 nights in the Mermaid Room. It is so cute! Bedroom is a good size. The bed is comfy. There was a TV and USB outlets in the clock for easy charging of devices. There is a fridge in the room. bathroom is huge and decorated as well. Breakfast each morning was amazing! Saturday we had Carmel Pecan Pancakes, sausage and fruit cup. Sunday was a lovely frittata, banana choc chip muffin and fruit cup. One of us was allergic to eggs and Tommy accommodated us and made a lovely blueberry waffle instead. During the day or evening there are snacks, cookies coffee and tea available in the dining room. Also available in the dining room was a microwave to heat up leftovers from the restaurants we dined at. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. On the weekends there was a cute Farmers Market to walk around. There were thrift shops and a used book store to search for a good read in. The beach was just a short drive away. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch in the afternoon/evening. We will definitely be back soon!

A complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast is served daily with a full Southern-style breakfast on weekends. We have stayed at the Black Dolphin a few times. Its an amazing Inn. Very clean and well appointed rooms. They greet you and provide a tour of the property and the rooms. The make sure you are comfortable. Great views of the intercoastal and dolphin feeding in the morning. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered to your room. Its the place to stay in NSB.

Beautifully updated, this 18-room boutique inn retains its Old World charm while delighting with modern services and amenities, including a world-class spa, marina, complimentary breakfast delivered each morning and on-site fishing and scuba diving, and complimentary weekend wine receptions in the lobby. When the mood strikes to explore, guests may borrow the hotel's bicycles for leisurely rides along New Smyrna Beach's brick sidewalks lined by moss-draped trees. We needed a getaway from our sweet town. We saw a place called Bongoland on a website called “Only in Florida”. So, we had our destination. We needed a great place to stay and Riverview had good ratings. So, we tried it. It sits at the beginning of the street with about 6 or 7 blocks of stores and restaurants. The neighborhood consists of beautiful historic homes that you can tell people have taken great pride in keeping the character and putting tasteful fresh colors on their homes. As we walked in the historic building there was a shop with home goods, clothing along with four different sitting areas for coffee in the morning and/or buying a bottle of wine for the evening. The young man that greeted us was ready to assist and check us into this adorable place. As you walk down the hallway to your room you notice the Millwork throughout, the chandeliers in the hallway, and the current carpeting. We entered our room to find our king bed with lovely white sheets surrounded by very tasteful furnishings. Through the silk curtains and French doors was a lovely patio with two chair, table, and a chaise to enjoy a pool with Spanish tile around the rim. Wow! Impressive. The bathroom was all modernized except the floor that had tiles that may have been original to the building, giving you a taste of the history of the building. When we checked in, we were given two “tickets” with about 5 choices for breakfast at the cottage next door in the morning. It was scrumptious and the people working there were welcoming and really wanted everyone to enjoy their delicious food.

I would eat lunch, have a drink and hang out by the pool a few hours twice a week. The food is great, the waitresses are great and the environment could be good but the hotel manager harassed me every time I was there. The first time he screamed at me about other people's kids that I did not know with no apology. The next time he screamed at me about parking in their lot to go to the beach. I informed him I am not a freeloader, I have a beach pass for the beach but I was eating there again today and again no apology. The next time he screamed at me about my cup and I can't bring my own food and drinks and hang out for free. Again I told him I had their drink in my cup and just finished eating from their menu. No apology. I parked a few days later and here comes the miserable bum screaming at me about parking. I ask him what his problem was with me. I thought we finally got an understanding BUT YESTERDAY on my birthday here he comes again to just mess with me. I had finally had it with him. I canceled my food order and went to Chases on the beach. It has much more class, great food, great music with live bands and nobody screamed at me for having my insulated cup. This will be my hang out for now on. They seemed to appreciate that I was spending money in their establishment!

I was confirmed with a beachfront room. Last minute changed to pool side. Second floor walk up. Only way to get in when you arrive is through a vacant lobby. There is no management on site. Right there you know that pool was a free for all. Find out previous tennant took the key required to get on the beach. Could not access the beach for the first day. The next day had to wait for the maids to get me a key. The kitchen did not have dish detergent. The front window had a big crack in it duct taped up. Nightmare. Do not go here if you want a nice couples get away. Good if you want a break from your trailer and you have screaming kids. Bring them and let them run wild! No one there to stop you!
