Reviewed By mei_haightonNice, spacious and clean hotel room. We had a room which was very new (didn’t have a room nr yet) at the end of a hallway. It was well equiped with a little seating area. The floor was soft and looked clean. Great breakfast and you could see the staff was keeping an eye on it to replenish things when needed. We came by bike and could park them in a closed garage. Two things why it didn’t exceed my expectations: - the bathroom was rather improvised with little space for basic toiletries - internet didn’t work properly The hotels location is great, right at the waterside with some cafe’s and terraces.

Reviewed By valtamerixIch habe meinen Freund mit einem Wochenende im slube überrascht. Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit im idyllischen Neustrelitz. Die slubes sind klein aber man fühlt sich super wohl. Alles ist vorhanden großes Bett, Regendusche, TV, Fön, Kaffeemaschine, kleine Süße sitzecken drinnen und draußen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Reviewed By stefanotorchioNice and welcoming hotel in a neoclassical building from 1820 with very elegant Biedermeyer furniture. The rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent, the staff is polite, very helpful and sociable. In the two elegant Biedermeyer dining rooms you can enjoy an excellent breakfast accompanied by Mozart music. There is also a beautiful garden where you can relax in absolute tranquility and the location is good, near the town center.

Reviewed By HCB911Six of us visited this hotel's restaurant for dinner. The building is attractive as is the spacious bar on entering. On a warm evening some people were dining outside. The menu is predominantly game, which was the reason we chose the place. We were not disappointed: the service was polite and discreet, all the meat dishes were excellent, as was the wine. If you like wild boar or venison in particular this place is worth a diversion.

Reviewed By ericmS6379ZIWe had to wait for over an hour for a fair schnitzel, some greasy fried fish and a fine porkfilet. The wine was quite bland. Service was little observant. The place was steaming hot, and stuffy. Although we were in the most far of corner of the place we and our clothes smelled like we had been deep fried ourselves. We would not recommend the place.

Reviewed By 579pimgWhere there with friends and enjoyed it very much. Had great dinner, rooms were good. Nothing to complain about. Breakfast was quit complete. Location is in the outskirts, but when you know it’s no problem at all.

Secluded and peaqceful, but 20 years behind
Reviewed By norskiefamilyA one night stay at this hotel - late in and early out - still gave hints of poor soundproofing between rooms, veeery firm beds, clean and oldfashioned bathroom with barely functioning showerhead. Common rooms/halls gave the aroma of stale beer in the rugs, dark interiors decorated with semiantique furniture. Breakfast was close to passable, but all in all, life is too short . . . . . .

Reviewed By rossj931If you live close enough, this should be your no.1 spot for a romantic weekend. The rooms are cosy and are heated by an open pine fire (the smell is incredible). The bathtubs are absolutely massive, big enough to fit two with ample room for bubbles. The food (grown/reared on site) is seriously some of the best I've had. Venison tartare was a particular highlight. The wine pairings are spot on too. Breakfast is included and is similarly delicious. Lots of friendly animals on site. Me and my partner had the pleasure of being accompanied by the most beautiful Collie dog on our walks. She is so friendly! Plenty of kittens about the farm too if that's your thing but be careful they don't sneak into your room to sleep overnight. Adorable!
