Beautifully renovated family hotel with lots of charm and character. We had two rooms and both were lovely and comfortable. Great location! Close to the beach and near the main shopping street. Breakfast was delicious. All the staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely stay again.

A new luxurious boutique hotel, uniquely and fantastically located on the waterfront, at one of Israel’s last untouched beaches, the Nahariya Achziv beach strip. The hotel was impeccably designed to provide a quality, serene, and pampering boutique vacation experience. The guests of the hotel enjoy 62 spacious, upscale and carefully designed suites, with attention to every detail from the furniture to brand new LED flat screens. In addition, the hotel has a new, luxurious and pampering spa for our guests to relax and switch-off. At Sea Life the holiday and beach atmosphere envelope the guests.
I will start from the end, dirty panties with pads were found between the sheets. During a 3 day stay with a 5 month old baby, we moved 3 rooms for the following reasons. First room: Smell of trash cans from the porch. Smell of contact adhesive on the floor. Second room: Dirty toilet, dirty fridge, cellular antenna just above the room. Third room: Smell of fresh paint from the "thin" on the balcony * Dirty underwear with a pad between the sheets * The service from the reception staff was good in the first cases and they exchanged rooms for us. The third case with the panties happened right at the end of the holiday in the morning before the room was vacated, we went to the reception, the receptionist photographed the panties with the Fed from my phone and said she would take care of the general manager. The general manager returned only after a day, made inquiries for another day and returned with a claim that "was not and was not created" and offered as compensation 20% for the next stay at the hotel. At your discretion if this is the hotel you want to spend your vacation and money on

Went with friends for a family weekend-expensive and not at all worth it-typical Israeli extremely high prices while a providing Motel6 level experience at best. Only good thing is the access to the gym in the adjacent mall and the kibbutz "country club' pool which is a 10 minute drive away. The coffee machine in the guest lounge for 24/7 cappucinos was super nice. Where this hotel fails horribly is not realizing the bare minimum you need to provide for a good customer experience. They maintain one staff member for weekends and the lobby was abandondoned when we arrived. The place is run down-old furniture, broken windows etc. This hotel has nothing going for it, no view, bad location etc, bothering to create a good customer experience would be it's only justification for existence. If it was cheap it would be fine but it's really not. The nice grass area that appears in the pictures is actually plastic grass and is the only place you can actually spend time in and when we wanted to have friday night dinner there it was abandoned and dark-when we asked the nice front desk girl she said "They are renovating and we dont know where the light switches are." Really pathetic and unacceptable. The breakfast was nice and breakfast staff very friendly but bottom line this hotel is very disappointing and need to try much harder or drop their prices-their policy is clearly to rip off Israeli guests with unjustifiably high prices because they cannot go overseas and get way way more for their money due to COVID.

Madison Hotel Nahariya in the Western Galilee is the perfect choice for your next vacation or business trip in Israel. The hotel is perfectly located on the Nahariya promenade, facing the Mediterranean Sea and a row of gorgeous beaches. The hotel's position provides a short walking distance to the city center, adjacent to a variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping mall and entertainment center and a short drive to the beautiful sights that are available along the shore
I am a world traveler, and this hotel was way below my standards. This room was not inexpensive I think it was like $250 a night. This is not about the room size, it's about the filth. Here are the Pros & Cons. PROS Front Staff: FRIENDLY Location: Excellent - next to the sea & our room had a great view Breakfast: Average - fairly good selection of foods - coffee not great; bread tasted day-old; cleaner than guest rooms. CONS FILTHY. Carpet badly stained, walls are in dire need of paint job, mold & mildew ENCRUSTED the entire shower - it was so disgusting my husband & I both opted NOT to use the shower. We couldn't even sleep well because it felt so dirty. My family rented other rooms on this trip & they had the SAME EXPERIENCE. So the hotel needs to invest some serious effort to get the bathroom up to standard, rip out the carpeting & replace the ripped furniture.

On the main street of the coastal city of Nahariya, in one of the city's oldest buildings, a new family hotel was established. In addition to its amazing location near the sea, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, we offer an intimate and quiet atmosphere, with a personal and courteous attitude to every guest. The right place to stay, explore, relax and enjoy the diverse environment Ga'aton Motel is on the main boulevard, Ga'aton. Surrounded by cafés and restaurants, it offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV. Ga'aton Motel is 2 minute walk from the beach of Sokolov& the Galey Galil beach. Ga'aton Boulevard is a busy shopping area that is crossed by the Ga'aton River. Rooms are simply furnished and include satellite TV channels, a fridge, and free tea and coffee. Each room has a private bathroom and some rooms also have a kitchenette. Free parking is provided close to the Motel and staff are always available to offer tourist information on the various hiking opportunities in the area. Nahariya's Train Station and the central bus station are 10 minutes away on foot. You can go swimming at a local country club. The town of Rosh HaNikra, famous for its white cliffs and caves, is 10 km north. The historic town of Acre is 10 minutes drive south.
One sign on the building calls this place the Ga’aton Motel. Another calls it the Gat’aton Hotel. At night, the part-illuminated sign just says “HO.” It’s more of a “ho” than anything. As in “ho, ho, ho.” Neither a hotel nor a motel. There is no breakfast provided, virtually no “amenities” – we’ll come to that later - and beds like boards. The rooms are small, with inadequate space to store or spread anything out. The cleaner, Mr. Moti's wife, comes in only every few days so expect to have to empty your bins sometimes. The worst aspect is the small broom-cupboard-like space which is a combined shower and toilet, the floor of which is more or less permanently soaked as there is no shower tray. The length of the combined shower and toilet is approx 166 cms. (five feet four inches)with a maximum width of about 77 cms. (two feet five ins) . That’s measured from where the toilet waste pipe comes out of the wall. The usable space is much less as the WC takes up about a third of it. If you are sitting on it, your trouser bottoms getting soaked, your head touches the shower curtain. So, as some of these hostel-like so-called hotels in Israel don’t seem to have grasped the notion that the water from showers can easily be contained in a tray, and drained away without flooding the entire floor, the shower/toilet enclosure is awkward and annoying in the extreme. In our first room the shower drain was not properly designed to facilitate drainage, so we were forever slopping water about. The makeshift solution was to put towels down, one to stop some of the floor flooding and another to stand on to stop some of the water getting on our clothes. You had to get dressed and undressed outside this ridiculous space. Unless you are prepared to buy three expensive meals a day out you need to have some form of cooking facility. There’s a kettle and fridge in the room but that’s about it. There is a sort of communal kitchen. The large, rough-looking fridge is full of junk. Not a fridge as such….(!) There is a microwave, where I managed to make porridge (oatmeal) . But there is zero provision of any cooking utensils. No so much as a plastic spoon or plate, let alone saucepans, knives and forks etc. We were only able to eat here by borrowing bowls, spoons and so forth from our family, who live nearby.Unless you are prepared to fly the Atlantic/Med with a case full of dishes and so on, forget eating at this “ho.” You might not be amused. The two of us paid 280 Shekels a night for a twin-bedded room, about £62 at the rate of exchange we got, or about $78, depending on the rate of exchange. Anywhere in North America or the UK, where we have stayed in many hotels, you would get a reasonable hotel with excellent facilities and breakfast for that. Plus comfortable beds and a proper bathroom, with shower trays. I got up in the early hours one morning to use the toilet, only to find all the power off. The same was true all down our wing. Around 6 am a Hebrew speaking lady got through to the owner, followed his instructions at the Consumer Unit and got the lights back on. They went off again and once more she got them on. When we saw Moti, the owner, that afternoon he had the cheek to ask me what I had been doing to cause the lights to fail! Well, sleeping actually. Of course, this can be seriously disruptive to the electrical system…..The lights also went out the next night. In Israel, which urgently needs some professionally-run American or UK hotel chains to come here and provide a good service with proper, modern facilities, the Motel is relatively inexpensive. Which shows you that in some ways Israel is still a young, developing country with a long way to go.

Advantages: - Excellent location by the sea beach; - Friendly and helpful staff; - Affordable price; - Plenty of space and beds; - Plenty of parking. Pay attention: - Apartments, not hotel rooms; - Old building; - No night portier; - Old plumbing and bathrooms, not modern standard; We stayed 5 in the 2-BR apartment, but one BR was actually a closed loggia. We had 10 beds in capacity. The only bathroom was available only through a bedroom, but there was a shared toilet next to the door, outside.

There was no WOW. The hotel is located on a busy street. Even though we were in the seventh floor, we were woken by up by traffic at six am. Bed was small double. Breakfast served in the room. Plentiful options with a selection of cheese eggs yogurt. Great indoor pool on the tenth floor with warm water. Surprisingly no jacuzzi. The massage was ok . Nice place to stay . Don’t have high expectations

this was really an excellent apartment in every respect,it needed nothing, the owner made sure every kitchen appliance was available.and lots of coffee ,sugar and coffee pods. the apartment was decorated to a very upmarket standard and could not be faulted, smart television in every room, the beds were extremely comfortable and great air con units, everywhere was spotlessly clean. situated in very quiet area, two minutes from the beach. the owner greeted us with wine ,milk and newspapers, and was a very nice gentleman. plenty of car parking space, also a lovely area outside for sitting and eating.another good point was the security of the apartment, needs a code for the front door and one for the apartment. all in all an excellent stay ,and will certainly stay there again

A wonderful experience. The chalets are located within beautiful green gardens, and beautiful trees which provide a sense of peace. The interior of the chalets does not dissapoint. We found everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. The proximity of Naharia centre and beach makes this the perfect accomodation for couples and families alike. Add to this the beautiful scenery of the north of Israel and a visit to the original Bahai Temple and gardens for a great holiday experience. Last but not least the friendly owners that will welcomed us made it unforgetable.

This hotel is called "Hotel and Restaurant" but the restaurant has been long closed. The location is great. Right between the main street and the promenade. And there's an elevator and Wi-Fi. The room had a balcony but no view to the sea due to a building right in front of it. Parking is free on the street. We had no problem parking. There was a TV and air conditioner. There's no sign on the hotel with a name. We got a mini bar but it made so much noise at night it was hard sleeping. Due to moisture from being close to the sea, wallpapers and paint showed much wear. This is a no smoking room and yet there was cigarette smoke and we had a cigarette hole in our blanket.
