Nice Stay for the Money
Reviewed By GiuseppeGuarneriI ride dirt bikes in Jawbone Canyon Recreation Area. It’s nice to go to a clean and well appointed room for a hot shower and a good rest. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. Good place to stay.

Reviewed By Diana MPleasantly surprised by this motel, it's very clean, the staff is extreemly nice, parking is great, long term tenants are extremely welcoming, nice, respectful and trusting. The price is the best in the area and it's very quiet so you get good rest.

No Frills, but Clean.
Reviewed By O4809LFlaurarThis is a bare minimum motel located across the street from the train track and on the highway. From the outside the place looks pretty sad. The pool is under demolition and there is a lot of trash about. But the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the towels and linens were fresh. The compact fluorescent lights were harsh and made the room uninviting. I kept the curtains closed for privacy which made the room even more depressing. It's fine for travelers who are passing through and need a clean place for an overnight. Although there were signs posted to wear masks, none of the staff wore masks and there were no obvious cleaning protocols against COVID-19. In fact, my room was cleaned while I was out which is not common practice with most hotels that have COVID-19 protection practices.

Reviewed By daviddK9675FOAbout time we left a great review for you guys, The Diamond Mob stayed there back in August 2015, highlights- African chap on the top landing who smoked 30 packs of cigs in a row over three days without moving-we applaud your staying power sir, excellent indoor bike parking, REALLY absorbent towels that ripped very nicely, easily bribed maids and a manager who knows how to keep his mouth shut, the purpose made pool sign that said 'closed due to diarrhoea accident' still makes me chuckle. This is where memories are made ! Overall highly recommended 10/10.

Reviewed By DaCheezThe fact that I am sitting here in this excuse for a lodging typing this instead of watching the umpteenth rerun of Big Bang Theory is easy to explain and defines this entire experience- the TV won't get more than one channel, try as one might. Frankly I don't think this place deserves even the 1's and 0's of an e-review. It's really, really rotten. Broken toilet seat, no toilet paper holder, incredibly scary trip to their adjacent building with dodgey long-term tenants up the block to get ice (the local machine is wrecked - AND THIS IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT!) Worst of all, I wish I had the courage to attach a photo of the bottoms of my feet after having gone barefoot in here for just a minute or two.....YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE! And just to put a cherry on the top, the trains are really noisy as is the street. Do not fall for the price - RUN AWAY, DUDE!!!!!!!!!!! Motel 6 should be ashamed! And I wish TripAdvisor could swing some weight to get it closed!

Reviewed By Sunny1gsdWe stayed at this motel in 2016 and it was pleasant. Now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. We arrived yesterday to be met with scruffy ,unkempt patrons drinking beer and smoking outside their rooms all the while yelling to their mates on a different floor. I had to wonder if these were homeless or drug dealers. The pool area is scruffy and peeling paint. The flower beds are overgrown and littered. The communal trash bins overflowing and the whole site is neglected and untidy. The first room we were given we had to wade through discarded cigarettes butts outside the front door. The guests in the next room were so noisy my husband asked for a different room. We were given one down the hall which was marginally better. The streaks of feces wiped on the tiles and walls in the bathroom was disgusting. The bath was filthy and the bath mat very, very slippery. The coffee maker had no filter or jug. We did manage to get a jug from manager but it didn't fit. So unusable. We went out at 10pm to watch the stars to be met with a drunk laying across the walkway drinking whiskey from a bottle. When we returned around 12am we were treated to loud club type music till after 2am from another room. This coupled with the people in the room above us exercising or pacing the floor at 6am for over an hour meant very little sleep. In the morning my husband spoke to a middle aged gentleman in the office to ask if we could have an extra hour to check out as we were shattered. He agreed after first of all saying we had to pay an extra $20. He later relented and said it was fine at no extra charge. However at 11.15 we were greeted by a thug being very threatening shouting at us to "get out" and would not listen to my husband who was trying to explain we had permission to stay till 12pm. He just kept shouting "you get out 11 o'clock" Overall this was a most unpleasant overnight stay which we will not be repeating.Thank you for ruining my husband's birthday.

A pictures worth a thousand words
Reviewed By ChinaDollPilotThe desert is really pretty, and it gets really windy in the area. I'm surprised that there are so many guests at this hotel. There is no light in the shower, so if you like dark showers, it is good. The man at the front desk is friendly. Everything is very relaxed, I do not think there are very many rules to stay around here.
