We stayed at this hotel for two nights spread out and found that it had some nice options but also a few issues. What we liked is that it is on the beach with chairs and it has a really lovely pool. The food we thought was good and they have really great desserts. The price seems reasonable and it's located close to the market for walking options. What we didn't like is that it is very noisy since one night the band played until after midnight and you can hear it loudly. There were also some small bugs on the sheets and pillow cases that we were not sure about and a lot of things appear to be broken or not fixed in different rooms - from a lock to air conditioner, etc. It seems as if they need to take more care to fix up the rooms and keep them in good repair. They do handle issues if you have one.

I was staying at this hotel through an organization who I was partnering with to build a school in the area. I knew almost nothing about the hotel and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It is a lush tropical paradise right on the water. The grounds were covered with flowers and palm trees. There were lizards, birds and butterflies everywhere and it is right in the center of town. The people at the front desk were very warm and friendly (though they mainly speak French). They also have a bar and serve a decent buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner daily at the hotel. On Saturday night they have live music. The rooms were a decent size, though the beds and pillows were a little hard. The bathroom hot water also can get boiling to the touch so you have to be very careful with that. Overall, it was an unexpectedly great experience, aside from the beds and the overly hot water. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. There is also a great little reserve with zebras, ostriches, rhinos and other animals less than an hour away.

A l'hôtel Neptune, notre plaisir est de vous faire plaisir.
We booked the hotel for a workshop with a mix of Senegalese and international participants. The management was extremely accommodating. The grounds are well maintained, and staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend the hotel.

In the heart on Senegal’s “Petite Cote” (the Small Coast), between Mbour’s fishing port and the seaside resort of Saly, the Tama Lodge preserves authenticity. The cabins are made of local materials, built on the sand of one of most beautiful beaches in the country, in a nest of greenery. In every one of the nine rooms, inspired from colours of Africa, with simplicity and elegance, you will find pieces of traditional handcraft : Kuba fabric from Congo, bed covers made of Mali’s bogolan, Touareg tent stakes, mortars and pestles… The whole lodge is full of charms of Africa, and offers, in its original setting, an exotic, mild and relaxing break.
I ve been here before the covid thing. Rooms directly on the beach. You will have breakfast with your feet in the sand among beautiful palm trees. Rooms are typically furnished in african style with wood and ropes and all in natural material.

Keur Marrakis is a bed and breakfast situated on the beach in a green and flourished oasis, only 5 minutes on foot from the handcraft market and from the fish market of Mbour. Our house comprises 11 comfortable and well equipped rooms, each with its own tiled bathroom, with ample sinks and showers. every room ceiling fans ensure a maximum of freshness during the hottest days, even though the maritime breeze keeps Keür Marrakis in a place cool and pleasant the whole year round.Keür Marrakis è un bed and breakfast situato sulla spiaggia in un'oasi di verde e fiori, a 5 minuti a piedi dal mercato artigianale e dal mercato del pesce di Mbour. Camere doppie e quadruple confortevoli e ben equipaggiate: servizi in ogni camera piastrellati in carreaux cassés, con ampio lavabo e doccia.
A nice, clean and simple hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, very relaxed atmosphere. A fine - not extraordinary- dinner for 10 €, served on the teras with view over the ocean. The hotel is directly on the beach - unfortunately the beach is terribly dirty and nobody could swim in the ocean. The small pool is a little compensation for refreshing. Whe you need some days for reading, thinking this is you place. The rooms are simple and not for staying in daytime - there you should look for a place under the trees. Mbour is Africa: wonderful people, chaotic traffic, excellent street food and no Aldi or Lidl - which we found wonderful

Charming hotel “Les Flamboyans” is located on the "Petite Côte" in the heart even of the famous resort of SALY. An ideal location in the village and implanted within 300 metres of many large resort beaches. Our hotel is ideally a haven of peace with its tropical vegetation, an oasis and an Eden garden. Pleasant surroundings in a friendly atmosphere where the authentic Senegalese atmosphere unites the quality of services and the friendliness of our staff. “Les Flamboyants” hotel has 35 rooms with typical decoration of your home area. Its human scale structure provides a personalized service to each of our guests.
We got here to see a friend and we had no lodge. We saw a good hotel we wanted to spend the night in, but we could not find it. This one was on the main road, close to the night live, so, what the heck, we just walked in and asked for a room. As usual, they were having a 'temporary problem' with the Internet so wi-fi was only available around the reception and restaurant. We were so tired that we had a bath in the swimming pool and went to sleep. Early in the morning a I went to the restaurant to send a couple of emails while having a coffee. Breakfast is not really great for the price you are being charged --BAR for a walk-in was around EUR 60 per night, but, well, facilities were clean and staff friendly. I would not repeat though.
