The Casa Vacanze I Girasoli, promoter of tourism accessible to all, is the quiet oasis you've been dreaming of for your nature vacation, near the main Tuscan - Umbre cities and the best starting point for enchanting trips and excursions. Full of ample outdoor spaces, ideal for a vacation with children, the hotel has a restaurant, two pools (one heated), bar, gym, tennis court, free parking and meeting rooms for work and business meetings. The Casa Vacanze I Girasoli is one of the few facilities fully accessible. The hotel is open from April to October.
Caters very well for people with limited mobility but we left
Reviewed By Stephen FThe main building is fully accessible, with lifts, ramps, hoists into the swimming pool and lots of space for wheelchair users and their guests. It's clean as well and the staff are friendly and will help guests. We stayed in one of the bungalows which are accessible however the construction is plastic and the bedroom is kept behind a partition. There's an outside balcony with plastic chairs. Cats lives underneath. The whole place is designed for disabled guests and their carers, trips are organised in accessible coaches however the overall feel is that of a sanatorium, a safe place with no challenges. This might suit some, but we left after a day of searching new properties, it just wasn't for us.

Reviewed By unfavorableThe comfort and quality of the accommodation in all of the towns and cities we visited was amazing and when we arrived at Lucignano and again walked into the Casa Terrazza was like arriving home. We were infact here during Lucignano's festival in May 2015. There are new owners who have lifted what was a very comfortable area to a another level with appointments that sets itself apart. Casa Terrazza is amongst the best accommodation destinations to visit in the area. We were fortunate to stay in the Apartmento Guardino in the lower part of the building for the first few days, which overlooks the Tuscan valley. The building is situated right in the village with many varied Restaurants and Osteria's within a few minutes. This is a complete town with many quaint retail shops around.

Reviewed By summergal16This farmhouse is absolutely stunning. It is so peaceful and beautiful. Nadia is an amazing host and cook. She helped us with anything we needed and the two nights we ate dinner at the house, were superb! The rooms although without air conditioning offer a nice breeze, are clean, and spacious. We would stay here again! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

'Le Caselle' lies in an idyllic corner of Tuscany, moments from Lucignano, a medieval walled village known as the 'small jewel' of the Val di Chiana region. Our lovingly restored Tuscan farmhouse provides an ideal place in which to relax, explore the landscape and enjoy the rich culture and history of the area, known also for its excellent shops, food and wine. Equidistant from Pisa, Rome and Bologna airports and also within an easy drive of Siena and Florence.

But seeing this place online brings back such delightful memories I decided to correct that oversight. Beautiful place, not opulent, but perfect for us. Family run, warm and friendly with great attention to personal service. Just a few minute walk and you're in the charming town of Lusignano, with enough dinner choices for several nights, although the best dinner we had was at Le Caselle. A short drive to a number of other beautiful, old Tuscan towns. All in all a great choice for our stay.

Superb B&B with awesome hosts!
Reviewed By VeeraS9This B&B is very well located just next to the entrance to the city. There are street parking spots but also two parking lots with no cost just few hundred meters away. We parked our car to one one of the parking lots. We were greeted by Alberto who let us in to the apartment. The apartment is so beautiful it takes your breath away! And has a lovely terrace! We took our luggage in our room and Alberto offered us some wine. We sat at the terrace for awhile just taking it all in. Alberto checked our breakfast preference and possible dietary restrictions and the time we would like to have the breakfast. We got our keys and we could easily enter and exit through the garden door. We had dinner in the city and then came back via wine store to just enjoy the lovely terrace. In the morning we met the other owner Daniele. Had a nice chat with him about traveling in Italy as he is a hospitality industry professional. Breakfast was just perfect. Cheeses, ham, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, juice, coffee and self-made cakes. Staying at this B&B was superb and Alberto and Daniele are super hosts! No doubt we will be back! If you are looking a relaxing stay out of big cities but some historic scenery this is your pick!

Reviewed By Jasper-RoosWhen we booked we saw a really nice room online but in reality it was even way more beautiful. We stayed with two babies in one of the apartments and had a wonderful time. It was all exceptionally clean and the apartment made you think you are king and queen in a beautiful old castle. The apartment has everything you need including a free WiFi hotspot in your room, a ventilator and a modern Tv. We requested a baby cot for one of our kids and got the nicest one he ever slept in (antique wood with pearls imbedded within). The location is also great. The apartments are part of the city wall and everything is accessible by foot. The swimming pool (1 km away from the apartment) is large, clean and as beautiful like you see movies about Tuscany. The host (Massimo) is very kind and welcoming. When we needed a doctor for our youngest, he arranged it for us so the next morning we had an appointment for her at his own doctor (gp) in Lucignano. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Lucignano or in the area!

Tutte molto curate nell' arredamento e molto silenziose,piscina per rinfrescarsi e punto base per escursioni in Siena,Arezzo e Firenze,consiglio di soggiornare
