Reviewed By Rob LRecently booked with Gov't rate because of work I was going to do at a nearby prison. On check in, rude, former deputy sheriff, asked for documentation I was with the government. I, like I have always done in every other HI when on gov't business provided my Government ID. Desk clerk said, that is not enough; that he would have to put me on the regular rate if I could not produce "ORDERS", whatever that is. He could not even describe what that is. He said if you can't produce ORDERS I will put you back on the regular rate. His demeanor was certainly not in keeping with what I have come to know with all other HIs. I finally asked if I could go to the car and bring him the dang work I did that day to how him. He said that might work. Then he needed to copy proof and these were docs with personally identifying information Finally I had to write out a statement about being on government business, sign and date it. Not once was I recognized as a Priority Club Member for many years; just hassling me to prove I was not lying about being on Gov/t Business. Hotel is nice but never in my life have I experienced such an inquisition to PROVE I was not lying. Priority Club needs to make these hotels publish on their websites what they expect for loyal IHG Customers to bring to PROVE they are not liars about the business they are on, at this hotel at least. Again, as a Gold Member, traveling all over the US, many times on Business, not once have I had to produce ORDERS whatever they are. Hotel needs to put on the website what ORDERS are and how a customer can prove they are not lying, again at this hotel especially.

Reviewed By ebd552022Ramada Locust Grove is always a great place to stay for my family. They have a great indoor pool and exercise room. The hotel is near the Atlanta Motor Speedway where we were attending a graduation and it is also next door to the Tanger Outlet. There are many restaurants close by and a Wal-Mart down the street.

Having just flown in to Atlanta and arrived at the hotel just before midnight we were greeted with such warmth and friendly reception that it really cheered us up - we had been traveling for 20 hours. The same young woman was still smiling at 6am. On returning a couple of hours later, there were three equally friendly staff. What great staff and a credit to the hotel. Well done.

Reviewed By ChristieJollyI paid for a suite, got the standard room. When I mentioned it to the manager she said they were out of suites so they couldn't upgrade me. I informed her that I wasn't asking for an upgrade but had been charged for a suite. She then said I can charge you for our standard room. Like ahe was doing me a favor. That's the room type I was placed in. Room had several pieces of trash left over on floor, fridge, and under bed from a previous guest. Desk clerk was very rude when brought to managers attention she seemed unconcerned. The only reason for the two is because it's located close to the outlet, and also close to the interstate

We have stayed here many times during our trip to Florida for Thanksgiving. It is showing a little wear but it was clean and fresh.

Reviewed By Greg PThis is a customer service review of this hotel. I booked a room here the morning of my stay. I used Wyndham points to book the room. When I got there after 600 miles of driving the manager told me they weren't accepting Wyndham points today for rooms He had infact taken it upon himself to cancel my reservation. This was on a Monday night with plenty of vacancies. I had to call Wyndham to get my points back and look up another hotel. Customer concern by the franchise none , any indication of how the property is managed plenty. I urge a pass on this not so Super 8.

New, but not without minor flaws.
Reviewed By 668patryI stayed for 3 weeks for a work-related event. Although it's a newer hotel, there were several things that need to be addressed. This review is based on my feelings. It might have not bothered other people. If not, so be it. 1. The elevator. Worst service in the world. There's only 4 floors, and the elevator takes about 4 minutes to reach you - every single time. You don't even hear the elevator motor kick in until about 4 minutes after you've pressed the button. With only 4 floors, it shouldn't take more than 30 seconds. Very annoying. 2. Powdered eggs. But, I guess I should be glad they offer breakfast at all. Overall, breakfast wasn't bad. I thought the coffee was great. 3. The plastic water cups are stuck inside each other. I assume during shipping or packing the cups got forced inside each other and sort of melded. You literally can't take them apart without breaking them. Lol. It's not always so easy to drink with 2 or 3 cup rims attached. 4. Standard double rooms. Very basic. No luggage rack or bench to sit your suitcase on. If your luggage is dirty from airport handling, and you don't want to sit a dirty suitcase on the bed to unpack, your only other choice is to sit it up on the desk next to the TV. Ridiculous. 5. Bedside lighting. Abysmal! There are two gooseneck spot lights with nightlight bulbs mounted in the wall next to the beds. There's a floor lamp in one corner behind a useless, large random chair that sits in a tight corner. You can't reach the floor lamp from the bed. There's also the same gooseneck lamp on the desk next to the TV. But that's too far from the bed too. The brightest light is next to the door, so you can see inside the refrigerator. The overall experience wasn't bad, especially since I wasn't paying for it. But, I wouldn't have stayed there 3 weeks if I had to pay on my own. These might sound like minor things; neverless, they're things that should be addressed. The newness makes it nice. It's tolerable if you're not staying too long.

WORST TREATMENT EVER!!!
Reviewed By Amanda FI recently reserved a room this past friday 11.22.19 thru 11.24.19. On arrival,which was around 9pm, i was informed that my i.d. did not match my reservation name. This is because im a newlywed and my i.d. still carries my maiden name. I was told by the front desk worker that i had to cancel my online reservation since the names did not match. I showed the front desk clerk where it said it would charge me 67.50 if i cancel. He assured me i would not be charged. I canceled as i was instructed and paid for the two night stay under the correct name. I get to my room which had a roach in the bathroom crawling but i only saw one so i did not complain ..it was a cheap room. I later called my balance and i was infact charged the cancellation fee of 67.50. My husband and i went to the front desk at which at this time it was someone else working and the other clerk had left for the evening. We tried to explain what happened but he seemed confused. I waited until today ..Monday ..11.25.19 and my bank said there was no pending refund. So i called the hotel ..address 4679 bill gardner prkwy in locust grove GA..a man answered and all i got out of my mouth was i had checked in friday and that was it! The clerk cut me off immediately very irrate might i add that i wasnt going to cause any problems and i tried to cut in and tell him it was about a refund, he screams at me that there are no refunds. He doesnt speak english well. I still tried to explain that i have paid and already stayed and checked out but he continued to scream at me that i wasnt getting anything. I tried to give him my name and he hung up on me. I then called right back and asked him who had worked the evening we checked in and he refused the employees name and when asking for his he hung up on me again. I called corporate number that online gave me 1828.926.9137. A young lady answered and said i had the wrong number and gave me another number which still was not correct. I was robbed by this hotel that i paid and stayed 2 nights at over the weekend!! This is the worst hotel ive ever stayed at and the staff is horrible!!! And i was robbed my money even tho i was instructed to cancel and still was charged!!!!
