A warm welcome awaits everyone from David and Irene at Tigh Na Sith guest house (pronounced Tie-Na-She), Lochinvers only 4 star Visit Scotland guest house. We offer 3 nicely furnished en-suite rooms with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We have an extensive breakfast menu using the local butcher and fish merchants designed to set you up for the day. We look forward to hosting you here at Tigh na Sith.
Probably the best BandB we have stayed in. Irene and David are so welcoming and their property is absolutely spotless, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. We could not have wished for a better place to stay during our North Coast 500 road trip.

Davar is a small family run Bed and Breakfast with stunning views of the Lochinver and the harbour, loch and mountains. Each of our rooms is uniquely decorated with furnishings made by local artisans where-ever possible and feature our own photographs of the surrounding area. Davar is our home in the Highlands and we hope guests will feel it is a home from home where we aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our breakfasts also showcase the best of the area with meats from our local butcher, salmon smoked in the village, homemade yoghurts, meusli and in the summer months fruits from our own garden (as well as coffee roasted here in the Highlands of Scotland). What makes us stand out from the crowd is local produce, local suppliers and local knowledge - we walk the hills, climb the mountains and drive the drives so we can tell you the best the local area has to offer and we are always happy to offer suggestions of walks, attractions and drives in the area.
Fantastic place to stay & rest, from the warm welcome on arrival, spotless & well appointed room, to the hearty (or healthy) breakfast. Also worth noting is the vast local knowledge of the owners which they gladly pass on. All in all, a breath of fresh air & a genuine asset to the local area.

Suil na Mara is a small family bed and breakfast situated in the village of Lochinver. There are stunning views of the harbour and the bay from both of the en-suite bedrooms. The price of a room is £70 per night based on two people sharing and this includes a hearty Scottish breakfast of your choice. There are plenty of beautiful eateries within walking distance and beautiful beaches only a short drive away.
We booked the pod for 2 nights and what a beautiful pod it is. Super clean throughout and the amenities packed into it are amazing. It had everything you could need. Even a large shower space which wasn't expected. Plenty of toiletries. Full size oven and fridge. Double bed, corner seating area, TV with Netflix, decking area with seating overlooking the harbour. We did a click and collect for pies from Lochinver Larder the first night and grabbed some mash potatoes and veg and cooked them up in the pod the first night with a bottle of wine which was perfect. Having eaten out a few nights and the long days exploring the wonders of the NC500 it made for a really relaxing evening. We prebooked Peets the next night which is a short walk away. An excellent meal here. The owner is friendly as is their dog Rusty. I'd highly recommend staying here as a base to explore the area, such a Bone caves and wailing widow falls.

Our Lodge is surrounded by magnificent views. 21 Sea facing bedrooms, 2 also with mountain views. Spacious public areas and our Restaurant has panoramic views over Lochinver Bay and on towards the Isle of Harris. A truly special hotel, dogs are also welcome.
We stayed here whilst in the local area. Our room was clean and spacious with super views of the harbour. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious. However, The drinks at the bar were incredibly pricey and I don't think it is a 5* hotel (certainly not compared to other 5* hotels that we have stayed at). The location was excellent and because of that I would definitely stay here again.

Bonnie Haven is a small bed and breakfast overlooking the bay in Lochinver which is located on the NC500 in the far North West of Sutherland. Perfect stay for couples looking for a quiet haven and explore the areas beautiful scenery whether you like walking, mountain climbing, beaches or just relaxing. Open from approximately the beginning of April to the middle of October, we do not take children or pets and I purposely do not have televisions in the bedrooms to guarantee a peaceful time for all my guests. The sitting room is available to guests to relax in and we are only between 5 and 15 minutes walk from several restaurants including those on the harbour, across the other side of the bay.
Couldn’t fault our stay, huge bed, good shower, stunning views, the continental breakfast was one of the best we have had this trip. Kirsteen was lovely and very helpful with information about the area, seeing the deer in the garden throughout our stay (or walking past our bedroom window) was great as well. Delilah’s and Peet’s are the two restaurants in town, had great meals there but you must book! Can highly recommend Bonnie Haven!!

Very friendly and a great breakfast, ladies may not like a shared bathroom, but a great location looking over the sea. Dont be put off by the post office/shop its still a quiet location even when its busy.

Delightful B&B offering a mix of spacious suites or a self-catering apartment in the grounds.
We stayed for two nights in at the Albannach in The Byre. It is beautifully comfortable and private. The views from the garden towards Canisp and Suilven are wonderful and the hot tub is fabulous. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We would return in a heartbeat! The breakfasts were delicious especially the eggs Florentine and the Shakshouka. It is a great base for exploring the local area.

Cosy, comfortable with everything we could need in a compact but not squashed space. Free WiFi and a CD player, didn't miss not having a TV as lovely light evenings to visit the beautiful beaches nearby. Second time we have stayed, always a warm welcome from our hosts who live on site.
