A new hotel set in a quiet, leafy environment with well designed, attractive rooms. We have 14 rooms, all en suite with hot water, including 2 larger executive rooms, 10 double rooms and 2 rooms with twin beds. TVs are being fitted in all rooms. The prices of the rooms are considerably lower than our direct competitors. We have a good restaurant and a garden bar, as well as a conference room.
We had a great week at the Kanberra. There is a front gate along with a security guard on staff 24/7, and I felt incredibly safe my whole stay. The manager and staff were all attentive. The rooms/bathrooms are alright, but for the price and location, it was pretty great. I would definitely recommend!

Standard hotel, ok for business traveller; decent price around twenty euros; food ok, breakfast nothing special. just the right place for a night in town; friendly staff and in essence rather quiet place

Beautiful grounds, well maintained and updated. Comfortable rooms with exceptional views and friendly staff. Breakfast overlooking the courtyard was the best! Walking distance to town. Will definitely stay here again.

Lira Tasha Hotel is situated in Ireda Lumumba, 200 meters from Soroti Road, Lira Municipality. It’s in a very secure and quite environment welcomed and served by well experienced staff perfect for those who had a busy/ tiresome schedule and needs to relax. Customer care at its best. In-fact, our moto says “YOU COME AS A GUEST AND LEAVE AS A FRIEND”
Booked the hotel for 3 nights but left after the first night. The reviews for this hotel are either fake or from people who have not much expectations. The rooms are tiny, very basic and simple, not mosquito net, door to bathroom is squeaking, hot water is not existent (at least not in our room). Ordered food is below average. The access road to this hotel looks like a sandy pathway passing several mud-brick huts. We definitely can't recommend this "hotel".

George and Lilian have welcomed us warmly at Brownstone Country Home. Even before we drove through gates of their estate we were amazed by the tranquil agroforestry atmosphere. Additionally, the rooms are very comfortable and bed/mattress is good!! We were touched by the homely feeling since we were have dinner and breakfast inside the house. George was very interested in who we are and we had very pleasant conversations. The directions to Brownstone Country Home were not very clear to us, so drove towards a different direction indicated by Google Maps. Therefore, we would like to give you the proper directions just to help out: -from Lira city, take Akokoro road (which runs parallel to Soroti road. You follow Akokoro Road south for 10min when you see a brown signpost of Brownstone Country Home where you branch right and you continue straight until you reach your destination. If you feel comfortable to have telephone contact, visit Brownstone Country Home’s own website to find two phone numbers. We only stayed one night, but we would certainly visit the Home again!

Lillian Towers hotel lira is located in Lira, a region in the northern part of Uganda. It has incredible rooms and impeccable all round service.
The rooms are clean and have air conditioner which a good thing. However they have bad food and the customer care is also poor. Staff complain about customers who are still at the restaurant loudly, generally wouldn't come back. Customer care is key for me

They don’t know the food and will say that we will make this food and that food, but the food which will come will not be as per the order. When you will ask for the same they will even not listen to you & try to misbehave. Also, the way of handling the customer is not good. Food quality is very bad.

Hospitable, quiet and secure place located at the edge of town.
