Reviewed By rfenne487835The staff was accommodating and pleasant but the condition of the room was awful. It was not worth the money. We did not intend on staying in a hotel while we were there but didn’t have a choice. There was mold/mildew in the bathroom, the carpet had a grimy film that left residue on my feet. The room smelled like a smoking room and was musty. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. The bed felt like I was sleeping on concrete and the blankets were thin and cheap. The breakfast was good and the staff was so nice.

The breakfast is unmatchable
Reviewed By newquistspeedIt's always pleasant to stay at this hotel the casino is right next door that's a plus the breakfast is unmatchable I don't care if you're at a diner a different hotel it doesn't matter this place is off the charts with the breakfast everyone is pleasant on the staff we have had never had a problem pets are welcome they don't harass us about our animals of course we don't make a mess I love the fact that there's a bathtub that's important to my wife it's easily accessible from the highway there's lots around like the cracker barrel another casino Sonic little bitty store truck stop is on the next road over very accessible Walmart not too far in a very large Park just down the road shopping strip just down the road everything you need right here.

Clean, Good Breakfast, small issue
Reviewed By VickiLinnI booked a King, non smoking suite on line, at check in - I was given a King ADA/Handicap accessible room. I said to the manager - I don't need a ADA room and would rather leave that to someone that might need it. Can you please move me to the regular king suite that I booked. The manager, very animated and loudly said - STOP using a third party booker and call us directly to book. You get what you booked online. I told him that I had my booking confirmation for a king, non smoking suite, his response was basically tough, my record says you signed up for ADA king and that you get. The hotel was no where close to full and he could have easily moved us. The room had a chair and I wanted a suite with a sofa, which is what I selected when booking. Oh well - on the positive side - the hotel was clean and quiet, breakfast was hot and plentiful. We were only there one night and would probably stay again, if needed, but the lack of customer service from the manager was concerning.

Reviewed By Diane WOn the night of June 20, 2021, I stayed at your hotel with my husband and sister. We didn't have reservations and could have picked a different hotel. We got two rooms, 450 and 451. I really do not know where to start. Do I do good or bad first? Guess we will do the good. The bed linens were nice and the beds were comfortable. The refrigerators worked well and the breakfast was good with a very nice woman working there. The air conditioning worked very well and the shades on the windows were different and a nice look. Now for the not so good.. In room 451 the entry light by the door was burned out. Which meant the room was dark until you found the curtains or another light. In room 450... 1.The sink had terrible drainage. 2.The lever needed to be held to be sure the toilet flushed completely. 3.The lower inside of the shower was very black in the grout areas. In both rooms 450 and 451... 1.King beds with only two pillows each. I have never had a king bed in a hotel with only two pillows. When asked about more pillows, front desk said he could only find one extra and it was dirty so he would have to wash it! Never got it. 2.There was only one set of towels in each room. (Maybe if they did not want to put a second set out you could put a set in a sealed plastic bag, if needed. 3.The phones in the rooms did not work, which I understand has happened before. That could be a dangerous problem if help were needed. Now I understand that with COVID, getting staff is a problem, but front desk person, Tristin, did not represent IHG very well. He did not seem to know the operations of the hotel computer system, even though he has been there for a month. He didn't know if I could leave mail at the front desk. He didn't know there was a list of local restaurants. He did not tell us the price of the rooms . He did not ask us we had any discounts, I guess we forgot to bring it up for AARP or Military or AAA. Tristan said he would text you about the mail question, but he said you did not check your texts once you left the hotel. That is not a good idea, especially, with having a fairly new employee. There might have been an important question that needed answering. Sadly, if we are in the area again, and since it works in with our travel plans we should be, we will probably pick one of the other hotels in the area. I think the $179 paid for each room was way too expensive for what the services received. There are at least four other hotels by this one. I SUGGEST YOU TRY AONTHER!

Found food & dairy products left in the fridge, Slow drain in bathroom sink, Loose hooks on bath door and wall, very loose faucet handle in bathroom sink, dirty cooktop in kitchenette, dishes left in dishwasher instead of put away (clean or dirty?), room phones disconnected and not re-installed, dog kibble on bedroom carpet and, worst of all, bathtub grab rail broken on one end and came away from the wall as I showered. I have stayed in other Homewood suites as well as other Hilton hotels and have NEVER found anything major or dangerously wrong in any of them. To the staff's credit they assured me that the maintenance staff and housekeeping would be alerted. Maintenance showed up quickly, fixed one or two problems, made "parts on order" excuses for the rest, and put drain cleaner in the bathroom sink which worked, thankfully. He agreed that it's very easy for small issues like most of these to get out of hand and was very accommodating. Housekeeping had skipped our room after we had been out all day. When we told the desk, the hotel's sales manager, sore, bandaged foot & all came up, apologized profusely and cleaned the kitchen, re-ran the dishwasher and told us to join Hilton Honors and she would give us points for our inconvenience. (Two days later the points have not shown up.) The minor faults in this little list can happen only when the staff and management are short handed and short-sighted. The grab-rail incident could have easily led to a lawsuit and the room should not have been used until repaired! The cleaning and prepping the room for the next guest should have been more thorough. For the $$$ charged for a two-night stay, one expects better service and facilities in a Hilton chain.
