Masks not enforced- guests or employees. Rooms cleaned every third day. Ours was not and I had to ask three times. Overflowing trash and I asked for it to be emptied. They said there was no maintenance working and it would have to wait til next day. I demanded it be emptied for hygiene purposes. They agreed. Let’s see if they do. Poorest BW I ever stayed at.

Filthy, Dirty, Smelly, Disgusting
Reviewed By 724randisIf only I could rate this a zero. All of the one star ratings are true. There was semen on my bed spread. It took 4 calls to the front desk to receive clean bed linens. Hotel has NOT been renovated as they claim. Same filthy dirty furnishings and carpet are still there. They only replaced the tile floor in the bath rooms and called it renovations. According to the front desk staff smoking cigarettes is welcome regardless of the no smoking policy. This place is a disgrace to the Hilton name. This property does not represent the Hilton brand and should lose its name.

Reviewed By G476UZhectorhAfter flying in from Canada to San Antonio then driving to Laredo TX. Got here at 2 am and asked the clerk if I checked in was I going to pay for the prior night. Or would I be able to check out the next day at check out time and was told that I could. But then in the evening they called me to pay for another night. I know that hotels don’t check in till the afternoon. But I asked and the clerk was ok with that. Just saying if you agree with deal the guest asked about you should honor that deal.

The happy hour was fun, and also a good value, The parking was extra, but I felt as though my car was safe. The common areas of the hotel are very pretty. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The staff was pleasant. However, there were some issues. The hotel was FAR from being full and wasn't at all crowded - but in spite of this, I was placed in a room right between the laundry room and the ice machine. This should have been the LAST room to be used if the hotel was completely sold out of rooms. Additionally, there are two swiming pools with rooms surrounding them, and both pools are nice. I was placed in a room overlooking a courtyard that was blocked off by orange tape barriers. Why put your guests in an ugly spot when there are pretty rooms available? The TV in my room did not work. It was changed out, but then there were issues with the replacement as well. This hotel used to be such a jewel. I remember parties at the pool with the swim up bar. It has potential now, but it's not what it once was.

Hotel is in need of a refresh
Reviewed By CbinBigDJust stayed here for one night. The rate was about what i recently paid for a much nicer Marriott near the White House in DC, but was not nearly the quality or service. The front desk was professional at check in; however, my lifetime Titanium status was not acknowledged and neither was I offered points or a credit like normal. The cleaning staff was friendly when i asked for extra towels. The room itself, and particularly the bathroom, is shopworn and needs to be updated. The mattress was uncomfortable and my back was aching by morning. Low water pressure in the shower, and the toilet would not flush even though we were on the 4th floor. Parking was free. My room faced the freeway, so I was awakened throughout the night by vehicles with super loud exhaust. One positive is the room had a GREAT air conditioner - it had been over 100 degrees during the day. Many of the businesses had burglar bars or iron fences, so it may not be an especially safe area.
