Well Done, huge 5 Star. Vicki, well done on providing a service to us and our pets. Babygirl (Rottie), Kono (staffy). The one bedroom apartment was perfect with the verandah out front, easy stroll to the park and off leash beach area, Everyone in the motel and lodge had a common interest in animals, so created a perfect stay. 2 weeks was not enough for us to fully enjoy. Thank you for our stay, from the dog blankets, bowls and treats, to the smiles, will see you again next break we get. Thank you Vicki and team Anne and Tim

Blue Waters offers spacious 2 and 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom fully self contained air conditioned apartment. Heated pool, security parking and fantastic location on edge of Broadwater.
We were charged $370 for an overnight stay and were given a room worth less than half this amount. From the moment we opened the door the room smelt like wet dog. There was mould in the bathrooms. The sliding doors to the patio were difficult to open due to the amount of dirt in door frame. It was dusty and the kitchen was poorly equipped. The furniture was very old and uncomfortable. The patio was very dirty and unusable. It was a very noisy apartment as backed on to main road so no view. Had very little sleep due to uncomfortable bed and the noise. Reception were disinterested when told how poor the room was. Visited a friends apartment two doors up at Ocean Shores which was $190 for the night and it was beautiful. I felt completely ripped off. Perhaps other apartment here are better but beware as for $370 night you might be given an absolute dog house like we were.

Hi, I have just went over the booking confirmations, and I have spoke to agoda, they have informed us that you have cancelled the booking, and reasons are you asked for photo ID and vaccine certificate, you did not state on arrival or any time limit to do so for the ID, you also did not state what vaccine certificate to send, as there are a lot of different vaccines that people have, you cancelled the booking and did not advise us in person, email, call or msg, you then had a worker open the door with another key at 1am asking us to leave, and did not give me a reason, the money was taken out of the account and we received confirmation of the booking, you are surpose to ask for the required documents and if we refused to do so, we did not refuse to do and we have any required documents that you needed, there is no reason to refuse , you have then booked in another family in the same room, your a owner of a business and should know that providing the right information is required stated, we left at 1am, that you required photos of my ID and vaccination certificate to a mobile phone number I don't know that is government issued confidential documentation having my name d.o.b address, and licence number and you require a person photo to your mobile number,

Traditionally configured with rooms up and down, and parking in front thereof. Our room (two rooms, really) was spotless and had enough beds to sleep seven. As we were only four, we had plenty of room. Bathroom was a little tired; however, like the room, it could not be faulted for cleanliness. The pool area is smallish, but functional. Lovely and helpful staff. If you are looking for a place to crash for a night or two, this represents first rate value for money.

Got booked into the Sandy Point Beach Resort at the last minute and was given a 2 bedroom very spacious room on the 6th Floor with a beautiful outlook and right next to the beach, shops and hotel. The unit was extremely clean, big bedrooms , big lounge and kitchen with 2 bathrooms, laundry. The outdoor swimming pool was heated at a constant 31.5 degrease which was brilliant and the pool was deep. Its a pity the resort has be sold off and all units will be sold off to owner/occupants. If I was rich I would bye one of the units.

Our room was very dated and tired and in need of repairs and maintenance. It was generally grimy and needed a good clean. All the grouting tiles were dirty. The blankets provided for the beds were smelly and in need of a wash. Upon opening the dishwasher the smell of rotten food was overwhelming. The bottom of the dishwasher was full of rotting food. I managed to get a cleaner to clean it out. Not a pleasant or comfortable stay.

Sadly we did not find presentation up to the standard promoted or enjoyed by other guests, the operators say it was due to "staff shortages and time pressure". We will not elaborate on the detail as this was passed on to the operators and they say they have addressed the matters with their contractors for the benefit of current and future guests . The rooms are spacious and the balcony offers a large area for viewing.

Early 2021 I booked hotel for August via Booking.com - it was booked as 'pay on arrival', however the hotel charged entire booking immediately. I contacted the hotel immediately and first was told it was not their fault booking.com had them listed as pay on arrival and I had to contact them. So I did, as was advised that this was how the hotel had listed themselves and to contact hotel. I rang hotel back and after much negotiation and attempts at placing blame on booking.com, hotel agreed to change booking direct and refund my money. Booking.com reservation was then cancelled (have proof on booking.com account) Fast forward to July and I needed to change dates from August to November... I called hotel direct (and have call log on phone to prove it) and they had no trouble changing, never mentioned booking.com. Thanks to covid my trip was cancelled in mid August and so I again contacted hotel direct, and was told no problem they would cancel... again no mention of booking.com. This weekend was when I was supposed to be staying and suddenly yesterday I was charged full booking amount on credit card. Phoned hotel 6 times - no answer, no answering machine, just phone pick up and hang up. This morning someone from hotel rang from their personal phone, when I explained problem I was told it was booking.com reservation and had never been cancelled so not their problem. I explained the entire history of booking which staff member states she remembers changing, etc. but states 'no one would ever change or cancel because that was illegal'. I again explained that I had in fact spoken with hotel direct to change dates and then again to cancel and booking.com was never mentioned and I was told no problem. Was told it wasn't their problem, so I advised I would contact booking.com. I then got text message again saying not hotel problem, but if I contacted booking.com it was outside the 'allowed' cancellation period. I've again contacted booking.com and as far as they knew booking was for August and it was cancelled in July by hotel. Now I'm left with hotel charge to credit card - which I will be disputing with AMEX, for a hotel I cancelled, and to top it all off, even if my event had gone forward I couldn't travel as my town has been in covid lockdown for past few weeks. CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE - SINGULARLY UNHELPFUL AND ALL ABOUT SHIFTING BLAME WHILE KEEPING MY MONEY THAT SHOULD NEVER HAD BEEN CHARGED.

I stayed at this place and it was disgusting. The curtains are mouldy, carpets are filthy, air conditioning stinks and is filthy dirty and the service is appalling. I’ve had to constantly ring for clean towels and fresh sheets. They keep telling me they will come for room service and don’t show up. If they do show up it’s days after expected room service. Please don’t stay here as you will regret it. For the money they charge and to not have at least clean curtains and a cleaned air conditioner…. Is appalling. Please don’t stay here as you will regret it.
