Such a unique hotel right in the middle of Kutaisi. Love the interior and the small details. I stayed there for 1 week and it was very enjoyable. I found most of the staff to be quite friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast was good too! Recommend it.

Stayed in the hotel for a night , but it was not the pleasant experience , we booked for 2 adults plus a kid but it was a one bed , no bed for kid , no extra pillows or blankets . Bed is very hard not comfortable at all . Bed is very squeaky , you move then you get to hear a good sound . It was room no 27. Coffee kettle omg , it was not cleaned for months it seems , we tried to clear but it was so dirty we couldn’t , finally we ended up complaining and we got a bit better one . There is no in room telephone if you need anything you will have to walk down . There is not even a dustbin in the room . Terrace view is only good thing about the hotel. City center is just a short walk 7 to 10 min . There is no restaurant or cafe near by . They do provide airport shuttle for 40 Lari . Smart tv and smart lighting system which can be controlled by remote controller . Staff is very friendly and helpful .

We arrived in torrential rain feeling disgruntled after a long journey. We were met by a most friendly owner who went out of his way to be helpful. The room was spotless with a huge bathroom. He gave us tips for restaurants that evening. Next morning our breakfast was an amazing experience. delicious dishes kept arriving - a mixture of vegetable and filo pastry stuffed with cheese, rice with carrot and sweetcorn, aubergine, swiss roll, tubs of yogurt, eggs and more!! A feast fit for a king.

the hotel Aeetes Palace is a truly 3-star hotel ... friendly reception, everything organized, I was expected at the airport according to the agreement. The breakfast is quite varied composed of sausages, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, butter, jam, cakes, biscuits , tea, instant coffee. Pretty good and rich dinner, salads, natural potatoes, chicken frying, dessert, mineral water, juice, big canara, comfortable and long bed. Great clean bath, slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, quiet, air conditioning functional. The friendly and friendly person. The whole thing was perfect

The greatest strength of the hotel that it is a great value for money for budget travellers who don't mind living in a decently comfortable, quite clean but by no means fancy or stylish , and due to the busy road, somewhat noisy place. One should know what to expect for the price charged. The staff are ( a family) very friendly; one member of the staff fluent in English, with the others 5- 10 words of Russian will be handly. You can get a pretty good breakfast upon request ( about 10 Gel). The location is pretty good - it's an easy 10-minute walk from the center.

Nona is the perfect host at this B&B in Kutaisi. My wife and I had a large comfortable room on the first floor. An optional ample breakfast is served downstairs at a time to suit you. We are very pleased that we chose to have the breakfast. Lots of choice and not expensive either. Some evenings we sat on the veranda with a glass of wine and some nibbles. A very pleasant way to end the day. It is a steep walk down into the town but not far away is a cable car which makes getting to and from the city centre quick and easy. Just remember to check on the hours it operates. In the same park where you catch the cable car is a traditional restaurant. My wife and I ate there some evenings. It was good food with friendly service and not expensive. If you have a car, as we did, you can park it off the road inside the B&B. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at Guest House Nona.

We (Family of 3) stayed for only one night on the 24th July in the King Suite with Balcony. (Room # 203) booked through booking.com POSITIVES: - People at the reception were nice. - Super spacious and clean - Room/shower and toilets. - A bar counter... in the living area - Nice small balcony with a view of the bridge, that accommodates a small tea table and two chairs..... Good for morning tea and/or an evening wine/ cha-cha. - The King bed is indeed super sized - The mattress was very very comfortable and gave us a Quality good night's sleep. - Prime location - right beside the walking bridge and other areas of attraction which could be covered on foot. NEGATIVES: Note - If you are trying to reach the hotel by car with the aide of a navigator, take note that the area around the hotel is a maze of one way streets. We went around at least a couple of times before finding the right way. - We were checking-in at around 5 PM and the room was not prepared. We were checked-in at # 202 by mistake and given access using the Hotel master-key while the reception readied the actual key to our room, when they discovered the mistake and shifted us to # 203. - Surprisingly, all my credit and debit cards (AMEX/ HSBC) which just worked fine everywhere in Georgia, stopped working the moment I stepped into the Hotel. It was recommended that i could withdraw cash from ATM and pay up. Our Tour Manager settled my account using her locally issued credit card on the following day. WATCH OUT. - Though we booked the room for 3, the arrangement inside the room was only for two. The third bathrobe/slipper/etc., was given soon upon request. - Only one blanket was available in the room. Additional blankets were not available. Instead, duvet covers were provided after requesting. - No housekeeping available in the late evening (around 7 pm or so). I had a late evening shower but was told that the cleaning may not be possible as all housekeeping staff had left. - The breakfast was very very modest - Some bread, cheese, salad, cereals, processed juice, beverages, eggs, meat (which i did not take note of, being vegetarian) and melon - the most basic breakfast that we encountered during our ten day stay in Georgia. - I saw no one at the Hotel except one family at breakfast during my stay. OVERALL RECOMMENDATION/ ADVICE: Note - As i am posting this review i am noticing that booking for King David Hotel in Kutaisi is not available on Booking.com or Hotels.com or Agoda.com - i wonder why. - Considering the cost of the Hotel, and the service provided, I will possibly consider other options first. - Having toured Georgia over ten days, and having stayed in Hotels that were modest to the most expensive in the area, it is my sincere advice that it is best to stay in a guest house that may be manned by the locals - This will give you a first hand experience of the Georgian hospitality and also support the local economy. Alternatively, serviced apartments in the vicinity of the walking (white bridge) will be a good choice noting that there are plenty of eateries in that area. - Palaty Restuarant, serving Georgian cuisine, to the right as you exit the hotel is an good place for a nice meal. Maximum 2-3 minutes of walk from the Hotel. Trust that the above review helps you to make an informed decision. Guamarjoos (Georgian for Cheers....)
