Reviewed By Stephanie CStayed here for the weekend while visiting town for an event. Other than the pool being cold (reg temp day though) it was fun and the Italian restaurant next door is awesome. They also have a great continental breakfast for a very reasonable charge that I would totally recommend. Would totally stay here again.

Reviewed By casperlc33We did last minute reservations, and we were accommodated. Water was bottles were given as a complementary. Room very clean and bathroom also. Beds very comfortable. Very close to Toronto which was our final destination. Price was excelent.

Reviewed By Dragonflychik27Here’s my honest review… never again! Some problem with computer tech when we arrived had to wait about 20-30 minutes to check in and get our room keys. The room was fine. Nothing special at all. And the washroom was terribly small. The shower goes all over the floor. The bed had a huge hump in the middle…trying to find my husband was like climbing Mount Everest. We put the sign out to have the room made up and they never came. We ran out of clean towels… we needed some to sop up the water on the floor. The area around the hotel is scary!!! I’m so glad we didn’t bring the kids. There has to be shelters or a psych ward very close by. Men yelling profanities all through the street. Next time we will stay in St Jacobs. Here was the kicker. I paid for the hotel through Hotwire. Then I noticed one day into our stay an unusual charge from crowne plaza. So I went to the front desk and was assured it would fall off it was only pending. Woke up two days later to see my credit card had been charged over $400 no longer listed as pending. When I called the hotel I was told to write an email and take pictures of my credit card statement showing the charges. No response so I called again and was assured it would be rectified. I’m still waiting for $153 to come off my credit card but the $253 has been refunded. For people who don’t check their credit cards BEWARE!!!! And there was no way we could ever eat at the hotel either the dining room is directly beside the pool. You could have a side of chlorine with your eggs!

Why would that be necessary. I'm only asking for a noon check out. It's Tuesday hotel only half full. The bed us worn out . King bed but 2 people sink to the center. Highway noise very loud, older windows without sound barrier. Curtains don't block out light. There are much better hotels with better customer service. I won't be returning

Reviewed By U6538CMhelengWe stayed overnight after a late concert. It was a very nice hotel. Everything was up to date and clean. Good Wifi, working frig, nice hardwood floors. When we returned to our room that night we had problems with our drapes, they were caught on the hooks of the sheers. We couldn't get them closed. After they sent someone to fix them for us, we were told to call the desk to ask for another room. They couldn't fix the curtains. We were sistuated above the entrance of the hotel. Therefore, the lights from the entrance would be on all night. After a few minutes, they found an empty room on the same floor which we went to. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Very happy with the service.

The hotel threw in a box of chocolates , They had roses on pillows .They had the fireplace on the TV when we went in . They went all out made my anniversary extra special.

No kettle of coffee machine in the room, no cutlery
Reviewed By CanRuVery basic accommodation, but clean and spacious. Beds are surprisingly good. Very close to highway, but you don't hear it. They don't have any food available, but there's a McD across the road and Piza delivery. There's a big supermarket (Zehrs) approximately 5 minutes driving from the hotel if you take Homer Watson Blvd to NW (farther from the 401). Walls are thin, so if you're "blessed" with noisy members, you might kiss your sleep goodbye. What puzzled me to no end was lack of either kettle or coffee machine in the suite. They have coffee and hot water downstairs, but don't refill often enough, so you can't have a cup of tea or coffee. There's no cutlery in rooms at all (we forgot to bring our own plastic cutlery and had to improvise, as stores were closed already when we arrived).

Reviewed By SteveB15We were hesitant to stay here given the number of terrible reviews, but we were both happy with our stay here. Our room was updated, clean, no odours, had a small fridge and microwave. Service was good. Our room faced Victoria St, so there was a bit of traffic noise. Nothing that disturbed our sleep. If that is a concern, there are rooms facing a quieter side street that would probably be quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
