Reviewed By 285sibThe hotel was a good place to start from if you are visiting Haburana and doing the elephant safari. Room was clean and comfortable, and it was nice to have a pool to jump in to after the safari. The restaurant wasn’t great compared with other places we stayed in Sri Lanka. Seemed like they were trying to cater for “western” tastes and ended up being bad at that, while also not offering the decent Sri Lankan food that I’m sure they could have easily put on if that was the strategy.

A big warm welcome everyone to Roy's! The people who love to stay here, come for some fantastic nature experiences, the breathtaking views from both Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock and to see the beautiful lake only 100 metres via a rice field. We have dorms with A/C, Wi-Fi and hot showers all for a reasonable price but with the beautiful country views. We are very much at the heart of nature!
Amazing in every way
Reviewed By chrisHCAMWAn absolutely amazing host with the sole purpose of making your stay in Sigiriya as nice as possible. Whatever activities you want to do in Sigiriya, Roy will arrange it for you. Both the private rooms with queen beds and the dorm rooms with double beds are nicely situated between the garden, have aircon, clean and very comfortable beds and a private storage area with locker key. Every night the food is made at the hostel by the staff where the literal question was asked: what Sri Lankan food have you not had yet? We'll make it! The best hostel I have visited regarding friendliness, customer service and atmosphere. Do not go here for the party scene, go here to enjoy nature, enjoy the local food and people and do the local hikes. 10/10 Roy, everyone coming to Sigiraya will get my recommendation to stay at your hostel!

Wonderful place for a dayout…
Reviewed By 944lakshanbThis hotel is a superb place for all types of travelers. We went there for a dayout and we had a really amazing time. Food was fabulous the service was excellent. Front office supervisor Mr. Chathuranga was very nice and really helpful. He accommodated all our requests and made our day a memorable one. Will definitely visit again.

Terrible Service and food
Reviewed By 244jayanthakWe booked this hotel for a family event but due to the bad service / un satisfied foods and bad service our holiday trip make very unhappy. The owner of the hotel Sumith, shows very bad attitude which makes everyone even more un happy. Some of the issues are as follows 1. They offered FB net double rate Rs. 13,500 which is agreed. When we receive the final bill they charge additional 10% as Service charge. This is not correct as per industry standard, net rate includes all taxes. 2. No welcome drink provided on arrival. 3. Breakfast was very limited and food was not enough for all guest. 4.milk powder was spoiled 5. Dinner leftovers served in breakfasts. 6. Fish cooked with head and bones. 7. Owner, Sumith does not respect to guest and always getting in to arguments There are so many other issues. We request you to think twice before you book this hotel.

Friendly staff, always willing to go that extra mile to please us. The management and the staff ensured the maximum comfort is offered for us. All my family members enjoyed the food. It's exceptionally tasty. Atha Resort is the place to be.
